Jason arrived on time and I showed him all of the things that I wanted done and he got right to work. He was friendly and professional and did not even stop to take a break. The deal I bought on Angie's List was for 2 hrs and he finished in that time.and did an excellent job. I would recommend this company to anyone and I will definitely call them again if I have any plumbing problems in the future.

They wouldn't go on the roof where clean out was located

I purchased two high-end ADA compliant toilets online and looked on Angie's List for a plumber to install them. After researching a number of area companies, I chose Tierney Plumbing, which had a strong list of positive reviews on Angie's list as well as an introductory special, and decided to give them a try. I purchased the introductory plumbing labor special and was contacted immediately for an appointment within my preferred time frame. Plumber Jeremy Gomez was prompt and knowledgeable. He addressed our plumbing list, fixed a couple of leaks and addressed an outside spigot issue. I showed him where the new toilets were stored in the garage. He quickly installed the first, but the second one, which had a 10-inch rough-in adapter which came with the toilet, was not going to fit properly. The packaged adapter allowed the 12-inch toilet to adapt to the 10-inch requirement, but narrowed the line to the sewer significantly, which was not satisfactory. We specifically purchased these toilets for their wide throats and ability to handle waste; the adapter defeated this purchase. Jeremy suggested an ADA compliant Kohler unit which would address our needs, noting it would be competitively priced. We ordered the custom-colored toilet through Jeremy and in less than a week, Jeremy was at the door for the new install. He completed the install quickly, removed all the packing materials and the old toilet and left my bathroom neat and tidy. The new toilet was a good color match and Jeremy took particular care to ensure it looked great, including one of the best caulking jobs I've ever seen. Tierney's labor charge is less than other companies; their clean, professional truck promotes "honest and dependable" on its panel, and from my experience, they earned that reputation. I always ask service personnel how long they have worked for a company and try to glean a feeling how they like their job. Jeremy noted that he had only worked for about six months for Tierney, having spent several years with another company. He was enthusiastic about his new company and it was clear that he felt valued and well-treated by them, which, as a customer, is always important to me. I will be adding this Tierney Plumbing to my go-to list for all my future plumbing needs. I would recommend them highly, based on my experience.

James called to let me know he was running early and came right away. He instantly knew that my A/C connection to this sink was the problem. He took all the pipes apart and cleaned them all out thoroughly, really thoroughly. After answering my questions in a friendly professionally manner, he recommended we do a house wide system check each year so issues like these are caught before problems arise. I asked if he could do it at this appointment. He said this appointment was an hour and that there was 30 minutes left. James asked if there was anything in particular that I wanted him to check. He proceeded to check another high volume bathroom sink and shower and then suggested the hot water tanks. Am I ever glad he did! On his cursory look he could tell one of the tanks was in poor condition and if not replaced, there would be a breach imminently with all the rust around the top and on the sides. He proceeded to take photos of the rusted tank and said a quote would be forthcoming to replace it. Overall, I found James extremely knowledgeable, professional and solved me blocked sink quickly. Not only that, he caught a problem before it happened! I would highly recommend that anyone with plumbing issues contact Tierney and ask for James. He will solve your plumbing problems and will make sure he keeps your home clean while doing it.

I had them come out for a quote which they were able to do in a couple days. I agreed to the quote and they were able to schedule me in a couple days. They came out on a Friday, updated the service in the attic, trenched to the new locations and ran the piping. They came back out after the inspection and closed the hole. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves and putting my yard back in order. The price seemed a little high but I am very happy with the work and it did take a lot longer than I thought it would have. After seeing all of the work that was involved I was very happy with the job they performed.

1/1/2015I knew going in that the labor hours in the special was not enough time to do the job. i approved all added cost. i was not happy with the cost. Just be advised the special pricing is just the starting point. The date is not correct. I am not willing to go back through my billings to find it. The work took place in Texas and Iwill not be returning there until the end of September.

Very thorough job, Told me what I didn't need, instead of doing it and having me pay for something unneeded. Very friendly and professional. I intend to have them do more work at my new home.

After a small delay due to parts, Jason arrived only to discover the box he was given also contained parts that were not compatible with my flappers. Instead of delaying again, he offered to go and WENT to Home Depot to get the right parts. Ended up saving money. They also did not charge me for that time (about an hour) because the office was shipped the wrong part by the supplier. They also honored a 2 hours for the price of one coupon. Jason was punctual, friendly and knowledgable. He explained my options and the work was done quickly and cleanly. Def. on my go to list!

Called yesterday morning at 7 and got an appointment for noon. A bit later they called and asked if they could come in about 30 minutes. Yes! James arrived timely and immediately assessed the situation and suggested what he could do. Other plumbers had told us it would require "jack hammering the floor to get a new pipe installed". James thought that was not necessary and proceeded to fix it. It took a bit over two hours but he finished the job nicely, professionally, and properly. He then reviewed the problem with the sump pump and decided we could just clean out the drain and the pump and it should work fine. He had the right tools to do the job and completed that part in about 30 minutes. All in all a great job and all is back to normal. Thank you

I called and spoke with a representative about my dishwasher not draining. I made it clear that I need someone to work on my dishwasher. She said she would send someone right out. Jeremy arrived and looked at the dishwasher. He told me that if the dishwasher is not working I probably need a new one. He proceeded to look at the plumbing lines. He confirmed that the lines were clear. Jeremy said I need to call an appliance repair company. I asked why they came out if they couldn't fix the dishwasher. The response was we don't fix dishwashers but I can tell you the lines are clear. Then Jeremy billed me $135.00. At that time I called and talked with owner. I couldn't imagine paying $135.00 when they didn't fix anything. I tried to negotiate with the owner. He didn't want to hear anything I had to say. I told the owner that I will be leaving a review on Angie's List. That is when he became belligerent, yelling and screaming. It upset me that the owner behaved in this manner and I do not understand why they came out to fix the dishwasher when they clearly don't provide the service.

they forgot to adjust the amount of hot water mix so the first time we used was only warm but they came pretty quickly to fix. nice friendly company

Mr. Tierney was very professional in both appearance and manner. He called and asked if it would be permissible to arrive prior to his appointment time which was a pleasant surprise. He accessed the job and gave me two options to correct the problem. I made my selection after which he contacted his supplier and gave me an approximate date of one week to receive the need supplies. We agreed on a time the following week. He arrived for the appointment as planned and had the job completed in less than an hour. Everything works properly now and I could not be more pleased with him and the work he performed. I highly recommend him and will definitely be using him for my future plumbing needs.

Job was done right and the price was unbeatable!

I was contacted shortly after purchasing the $135 for 2 hours of labor special. I scheduled a appointment for the following day. They arrived on time and replaced two outdoor faucets that were leaking. The only downside was that I prepaid for two hours of labor and it only took one hour to complete the job.

It went fine. They came out within an hour of our phone call. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called yesterday to have someone come out and give me an estimate on fixing a pipe that is broken underneath my home. My floors have had expensive water damage and need to be replaced because of mold asap. Before I can replace the floors I need to have my pipe fixed. While they were very nice when I called to schedule my appointment, no one called to tell me that they were on their way, would be late, or were not able to make it. They were supposed to arrive between 10-11.

After service, unit was still leaking slightly. Immediately came back to fix the issues, at no charge. Great customer service and stands behind their work.

Here is the details of Tierney's plumber's visit to our house to work on the deal. He came around 8:30 AM, As soon as he came, I told him what are the stuffs, I would like him to do. First, change the filter of our under-sink filtration unit (connected to faucet) , then work on two toilets that were not flushing properly and then work on an outside faucet that is connected to hose. First, he tried to change the filter. He could not open it and said that he does not have the tool to open it. I told him that I talked with his manager, a day earlier and told her what needs to be done. She did not say that her company could not do it. If I knew at that time, they can not do it, I would have cancelled the work. The gentleman told me that he needs to buy a wrench. But he would like to finish other works. Then he fixed the two toilets which took less than 30 minute. He then went to buy the wrench. He came back after about 45 minutes with the wrench but still could not open the filtration unit. He said that I need specialized help from companies that work on filters. Anybody who comes to work for something should bring his tool. I do not think, anybody will consider paying for the time spent on purchasing tool is owner's responsibility. Anyway, for the last work, he said he needs to cut the brick of the wall to repair the faucet but would not repair the wall. I have to call others to fix the wall. I told him, in that case, I do not want him to cut the wall. Before he was getting ready to leave, I asked him if knows any company that fixes filter. He said that he did not know but I could find from Google search. I told him, OK don't worry, I will do that. I did not want him to search anything. But, he started searching using his iphone and spend at least 10 minutes but could not locate any particular company. He told me to contact Sears as they work on Filtration units. After that, he spent another 10 minutes to fill the form detailing the work. So, he can claim that he was in our house for the work for 1 hr. 45 minutes but he actually worked for about 30-35 minutes.
