They had good reviews on Angie's List, but when they provided the estimate, it was very vague. So I called them back to get some things verified on the estimate and they told me they would call me back to help me with that. They never returned my calls. I finally told them to forget it and I went with someone else.

We had a roof that leaked during a high-wind rainstorm. We had one company come out and say we should file a claim with our insurance for a new roof. Then we joined Angie's List and chose Huffaker to come out and give a second opinion. Someone came out and told us what we needed and quoted me a price. They did the work within a week, and we got the bill exactly as we had been quoted. My only issue (not really a complaint) was that they took a couple of days longer to come out than what they originally told me. However, when I called, I was able to get an update and confirm that I was still on the agenda. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I did not put a rating for the quality due to the fact that it has not rained hard since the work was completed.

This was truly and excellent experience. They responded quickly to my request for an estimate and was able to accomplish the work within a few days. This was a small job but well done in a timely manner and quality materials. The house painter we used after this work commented on what a quality job had been done with this repair. Two recommendations for the price of one.

They did a good job. Their price was reasonable. They came out and told me what they were going to do and then they did it. That's about all I can ask of them.

They were very good, they couldn't have done anything better, they were fast, they did exactly what they were supposed to do, they cleaned up very well, and they worked for a good price.

He was very professional. He did get on the roof, but he didn't bring anyone with him so my husband had to get up in the attic with him while the guy stayed on the roof so he should of had an assistant for that. He was very knowledgeable and he knew about attic ventilation. When I called to make an appointment they wouldn't make me an appointment they just called me the day they could come out and it would usually be within a week. They did come out when they said they would.

When I first contacted Huffaker, they indicated they would be out in 2 weeks or less. After waiting 3 weeks I called the office to check on status. Office said they would check and get back to me that day Waited another 10 days for a reply that did not arrive. Then Huffaker called and said they would be there the next day. The work was then done promptly and any loose debris removed.

We gave them a call and were advised by the company, as well as two other roofing companies, that due to the weather we would have to wait for 2-3 weeks at a minimum for someone to come out and give us a quote. Huffaker came out a week later and gave us a quote of $350-$400 to repair the hole in the "Dead Valley" and replace the Storm Guard. They arrived approximately one week later and repaired the damage, replaced bricks on the chimney, took pictures, and left it as clean as it was before they arrived. Everyone at Huffaker was professional and courteous. We were quite surprised to see that the cost of the actual repair was slightly less than the quote itself! It was the most timely, professional and honest job we have experienced as home owners.

They came out to give us an estimate on a roof leak that was showing up in the garage ceiling. They found the problem, which turned out to be a small hole in the roof. They repaired the hole and replace the shingles in the general area. It was great that they could fix it on the spot instead of just giving us a quote.

Arrived at scheduled time, courteous, discussed problem found and provided estimate. Work completed on time as scheduled. Installed flashing on chimney and sealed around chimney.

They are a high quality company that installed my roof 7 years ago. They were prompt in getting back to me even though it was only for a repair. They were also able to match the tile even though it had been discontinued.

After a couple of false starts on the start date, the company did keep us informed, the job went very smoothly. The complete job was done well and the site cleaned up in a day and a half.

GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY CAME BACK AND FIXED WHAT WE REQUESTED.
