Berkeys Air Conditioning Plumbing & Electrical

I use Berkeys Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical for my heating and air conditioning services.  I use them all the time. 

Overall experience was great. Technician arrived soon after a courtesy call. I introduced the technician to my HVAC system and work immediately began. We had conversations about the systems current condition and what is required to keep the system in standard operating condition. We spoke about spoke about add-on's/upgrades available to enhance the HVAC systems operation to provide a better and healthier experience. After the technician completed the service, I was provided a quote for recommended services. I will be using Berkeys services in the future.

Berkys was fantastic. They were professional and on time. They did everything they said they were going to do at an affordable price. They were educational and efficient. My toddler was very interested in what the repairman was doing and Raul, our repairman, was very sweet and friendly back.

Very good - they recommended a couple of updates; and I'll probably do one or two of them on their next check-up visit.

It went good from the time I contacted the company until the end. They also called me to follow up after the job was complete. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours. That was good considering this was not an emergency plumbing issue. I was called when the technician was on his way. He was very polite, listened to my concerns and also did a plumbing inspection and identified issues I was not aware of. I was given the price of job before work began and different options. The technician completed the work we agreed upon and let me know of the progress in completing. He answered all of my concerns. I felt the job was done professionally and accurately. I will call this company if I have future plumbing concerns.

Everything went exactly as I was told it would go. The technician arrived within the appointment window time. I received a call 30 minutes before he arrived. The technician was courteous and did a great job.

Sent out technician on same day I made the call for service was covered under warranty so they replaced part and handled quickly and efficiently.

Great customer service from both the technician and the scheduler. Due to another cancellation, they were able to fit me into the schedule for an AC inspection on the same day that I called. The technician, Jared, is knowledgeable and explained the steps of his inspection as well as any concerns he found. He even wore boot covers when inside my house to ensure he didn't track dirt or mud in. Highly recommended.

The pluming was excellent, we had three different jobs for them and all were done fast and correctly. One of the jobs which was with the bathtub pluming another company did an estimate and it came to $350.00, with Berkley we were charged much less. With the A/C it was a much different story they said that the compressor needed to be replaced, when we had another company check it, they didn't find anything wrong with the compressor, it just needed more gas. That was two years ago and it is still working good.

They do real well. I have used them for years. I think they are reasonable. I plan to continue to use them. I keep going back to them because of the fact that they do a good job. They do not try to sell me on things I do not need.

We currently have a home warranty plan for all of our home repairs, but does not include maintenance.  Berkeys called to schedule our tune up when our AC was not working. I requested they send a tech out to review and advise. Our technician was excellent - on time, professional, good communication of his review of our problem.  He checked out our system, and as it turned out we had to go back to our warranty for the repair.  I will call Berkeys again for our next mmaintenance contract! Also, the cost was reasonable.

While they were able to repair it they quoted $800 for one part that we later found online for $150! Horrible price gauging!

All AC units were cleaned, filters replaced and systems are good to go for the upcoming warmer weather.

It was amazing. Wasn't happy that we had a coil go out on a system that is only two years old, but Berkeys came out and diagnosed the problem almost immediately. At the time we didn't have a seasonal maintenance agreement with anyone (otherwise we probably would have caught it sooner...for those of you who don't have a maintenance agreement with a vendor). We had an error pop up that we didn't know how to decipher. We called Berkeys. Tren came out and told us what was wrong almost immediately. He took product information and validated that parts were under warranty. He was able to tell us, on the spot, how much it would cost in labor (which isn’t covered by Lennox’s warranty) to fix and then told me to call him (directly) when/if we were ready to fix it. I called around to see if the labor price that was quoted by Berkeys was reasonable and come to find out - it was MORE than reasonable. These guys were on time, every time. They accurately diagnosed the issue and provided a timely and affordable solution. As a result, not only did I have them fix the coil (which is a major fix), I signed a seasonal maintenance agreement with them so that they can come out and service our AC units on a semi-annual basis. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

The service was good.

I wasn't very thrilled with the technician they sent out. He immediately went into sales mode and didn't seem to understand his instruments. It took him at least an hour to do the work and didn't leave a mess.

It went very well. The tech was extremely patient with my wife and I. Answered all questions. He stayed behind to give me some energy saving pointers and tips on how closing certain shutters can manipulate airflow. Very personable and helpful guy
