This is a pretty common one in our area. They also have come and done plumbing for us. We are on their plan that they use for spring and fall heating and A/C service. I think their price is a little high.

I have used the company for years and would highly recommend them. After calling the provider, they were here in about 2 hours. They are very professional and prompt.

Seemed like an honest guy who made some repair recommendations. Admittedly, they seem like a quality company, however, I think they use the BAM program ($99) as a way to find things wrong with stuff, so they can charge exorbitant prices for the repairs. But nice folks!

Our gas bill was really high and he was saying that we had used like tons of gas from the gas company. He came out and said it definitely wasn't our gas. In fact I don't even think he charged us anything, it was a complimentary visit and told us not to worry about it. We ended up signing up with their program. They are a great company. He was very good and we definitely would use him again. He was on time and ready to get to work. His quality was very good. They were great.

He told me that the pipe break was under my sidewalk, which almost doubled the estimate. I contacted another company for a second opinion who showed me where the actual break was, which was definitely not underneath my sidewalk. I even watched them work on it to confirm. They charged me a fraction of what Berkeys quoted me. I would never recommend Berkeys.

We chose not to use them because they were going to charge us 3 times more. I felt they were not trustworthy.

It was alright. They price was high because they didn't solve the problem and we had another company come to get the roots out of the line.

The work was fine. It only took him a minute to relight it. He was on time. When they do the work they present two prices, one price to re-light it and the other price is to sign a service contract which was $190. I used them because the other plumbing companies weren't available.

They did recommend some modifications for the air conditioner. The technicians were personable. They came when they were supposed to come. Arranging the appointments went well.

It was fine. Raul did preventative work. They are prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. It was a little bit pricey. I would check for prices before I would use them again. I would recommend them.

I am not sure I like Berkey's that much. I like their service men but I had a lot of trouble with their plumber over the toilet. They are prompt. I have a different person who services different appliance. There was a plumber who did the work on the toilet. They had the air conditioner and heating people and sometimes it is different. There had to be a lot of company intervention with this toilet situation. It wasn't good. There is nothing comparable. He was not happy with me. He talked to my husband and my husband asked him questions that he didn't have the answers to and that is because my husband was unhappy. I had to call the company. I ended up talking with a man and he was over the plumbing and customer service quality control kind of guy and he was real nice and made sure everything got done right. They guy that did it wasn't happy because he got censored for his attitude. He knew all the answers but he had done this so long. He didn't want to answer questions.

It went perfect! Everything from the courteous call advising tech is on their way, tech was on time and very professional. Fixed the fixed quickly!

I subscribe to their BAM yearly contract which includes one Plumbing, AC, and Heating checkup per year. They have always been very professional and, once service is scheduled, they usually arrive on agreed time. Sometimes they are very busy so it get's difficult to schedule the visit. I've learned it's best to schedule as early as possible before the usual season for each checkup.

Berkeys was not the cheapest price, nor the most expensive- they are THE best and my dad always taught me to never be afraid to buy the best because you'll never have to buy it twice. Cost was about $11,000 for 2 complete 16 seer units (old ones were 9-10) , Honeywell Media Filtration, new 5" line, new plenums, new thermostat, new float switch, new pans, all joints sealed, attic tent and we had them replace the hot water heater at the same time. Now, our bills are never over $200 for 8 months and run in the upper $200's in the summer. One of the units had a coil go out 2 months ago- they found the problem, replaced immediately at no charge. They had several employees come out to complete the job in several days. The evaluation was done wrong at first. The management tried to work with us and still needs to correct the problem. They are nice people to work with. They did come out when they said they would and worked really hard.

We had a leak in our hot water heater and no heat. We called Berkeys on Tuseday evening and they were able to send someone out the next morning. That morning I also discovered that the AC lines were dripping outside to the secondary drain. I called to ask if they could check on that problem too. Instead of scheduling a AC technician for that afternoon the woman on the phone was very helpful and said she would have our plumber look at the drains while he as here and see if he could solve the problem. Carlos came out as scheduled and gave us an estimate on both problems. He went right to work and replaced our hot water heater and brought it up to code. After that job was finished he went upstairs to check on the AC drains and the bathroom drains. We have had problems with the AC drains before and I know it isn't an easy job. Carlos had to spend two hours or more for this unscheduled problem and he successfully completed the job. Carlos was very professional and extremely competent. We felt we were in good hands. I will definitely use Berkeys ( and I will request Carlos) again for both our plumbing and AC problems.

Got their number from Angie's List, called to schedule an appointment, they had one for the next day from 12-5p the next day. They showed up right at 5 pm. Hooked up our air conditioner, and then proceeded to tell me there were three major things wrong. He wrote up a bid to fix it for $1310 or $1136 if I signed up for their maintenance program. But he said he would not fix it, if it were him he would get a whole new unit for $9,000. Obviously, I was not going to agree to either one of those options at that time. He said, "I don't care, you are the one hot, not me", and if I did not make a decision right then, then nothing could be done till probably Monday. Which I said was fine. He packed up his things and left. Come to find out, he did not even hook the unit back up. Left wires unattached. The repairman we went with said it looked like he just put back the outside panel. I find this very unprofessional on Berkeys part. Plus Berkeys repair quote of $1300 was completely outrageous, we had it fixed for $194. We were also told that our unit did not need to be replaced at this time either, maybe in a couple of years or so. I did feel like Berkeys was dishonest, unprofessional and border line rude. Will never be calling them back again. *******After writing this review, Berkeys contacted us and refunded us our money for the service fee. They also offered to come out and do a free maintenance checkup on our other units, which we declined. We still would not use them even if their service was free. We appreciate the refund and other offer, but trust in the company we use is #1 for us, so again we will not be calling them back. ********
