I was thoroughly impressed. It was easy to make an appointment. The workers were pleasant, professional, and punctual. When they left, everything was done exactly right. Great job!
Description of Work: We recently purchased a home that was a bit of a fixer-upper. In addition to fixing the electrical problems the sellers refused to address, they installed a new wall plug.

Description of Work: Rocker 4 way switch in kitchen went out, 2 ballast for undercabinet lightening and rocker switch in 1/2 bath. Had the ballasts but the price to fix all $195 (includes 3 rocker switches) to me real cheap and the work was done in less than 2 hrs which included trouble shooting the 4 way. Nice people and very experienced!

The last time they were dispatched, they took over for a unscrupulous contractor who didn't seem to have a license. They got here quicker than expected and did a great job of communicating and keeping me informed. Debbie is a straight shooter and willing to explain any questions you have. I wish the home warranty companies would use them every time they have the expertise to solve my problems. Danny has also taught me a few things about my AC and heating that has saved me money such as showing me how hot it is in my attic and the savings I could get with an attic vent fan. In this last case, I ended up paying the $60 service fee and the home warranty company paid the rest. I based the $900 price on what the home warranty company tried to buy me out on, I suspect they paid a little more for Dimension Electric as I'm about 45 miles away from their office and I think they told me they charge them a trip charge because of the distance. Thanks,
Description of Work: Dimension Electric has been assigned to my house on several occasions by Home Warranty Companies. They are one of my favorites. They have done Heating & A/C, Electrical and plumbing although I'm not sure they still do plumbing. They have also done some wall repair to fix holes caused by plumbing problems. Danny is the owner and Debbie runs the office. Debbie is a real pleasure to work with and Danny is very good. If Danny or Debbie tells you they will do something, they will do it. On some occasions, they may have an emergency come up and be a little late but usually they will let you know if that happens. They have always taken good care of me, I just wish they were closer to my house as the warranty companies usually try to send someone else out first, the last of which was unlicensed and tried to add on $600 in add-on fees that the warranty company wouldn't cover for the replacement of an outside heat pump condensing unit.

Showed up between 9-10 the first two days and left at 3. 1st day one crew spent whole day on 3rd floor installing 12 plugs and running wiring to them. 2nd day same crew ran 12 recessed light fixtures and wire to them and two recessed light on balcony, left at 3 leaving a set of ceiling fans not working and 2 sets of lights not working. Another crew showed up around 11 to install new breaker box and redo wiring and add ground 3rd day nobody showed up, called office at 10 was told there were emergencies, finally someone showed up at 11 and promptly went to lunch, then went to third floor until 3 and left, not doing anything. Fourth day crew shows up was told to remove shoes or wipe feet good as they had to walk over carpet and it was raining outside. One of the workers copped an attitude with that so the crew left. The office called and a long conversation about what did and did not get done including the attitudes transpired and the office lady continued to make excuses so I told her to tell them to go home until the attitude changes and told her to tell the owner to call The owner called and I asked for a meeting in person, he said he would call back. After a whole day with no call I left an e-mail to just terminate the contract and have the owner come and see what material and labor was used. He showed up the next day, refused to see anything and gave me an invoice for $3400. There was nowhere near that much material or labor used and the invoice was not itimized.
Description of Work: Upgraded breaker box, roughed in 4 plugs per room and 4 recessed lights with a switch in 3 rooms added in attic in 2 1/2 days on job site. Did not do the following: add plug for tanning bed in attic room, install weatherproof plug on 3 decks, install light, wiring and switch for stairs to rooms in attic, install light, wiring and switch at first floor furnace closet, install light, wiring and switch to stairs going ino basement, install light, switch, and wiring in bedroom hallway, inspect, repair or replace wiring, plugs, light and switches in garden shed, remove 240 box and wiring from garden shed, chech all wiring and light receptables under house, repair box, plugs and switches in media roo closet, repair light, switch and box in closet of kitchen, check, repair or replace wiring, switches, plugs and lights on all three floors or remove if not necessary, run service line, add breaker box for work shed, make sure house is safe electricially.

Other than the technician being 30 minutes late from the appointment time, he evaluated the problem and made the repairs in a short amount of time. I would recommend this company to anyone for their professionalism and expertise.
Description of Work: The technician evaulated why the air conditioning condenser was not working properly.. He discovered very quickly that the unit needed a hard start kit and installed the kit. He then check the unit for proper operating procedure, installed less than a pound of refrigerant, and rechecked to make sure the unit was working properly again.

The company handled this service call as an emergency because the residents were aged 88 and 93, one was on oxygen 24/7 and breathing negatively affected by the heat. The air conditioner had gone out completely during the 100+ degree heat wave. The dispatchers diverted personnel and sent someone out immediately. They checked everything out and promptly fixed it in timely manner. We had cool air conditioning after they left. Would definitely recommend the company to others.
Description of Work: The service call was to Whitewright, TX. They put in new compressor outside and new thermostat inside. Installed New filters. Added Freon. Did some additional work on inside unit that I can't specifically remember. Without prompting, came back in October, as promised, at no charge and re-wired the thermostat to allow heating. This was done at a later date due to a difference in the number of wires of old and new thermostat. Overall, I was very impressed with their service.

They can usually get out within a day or two. If I have something low priority, I let them wait until it is convenient. That way if something ends up being a rush later, they may have a better chance of getting to me quickly as they did when my AC was out. I have also hired them to do work while they are here that isn't covered by the home warranty. They have been reasonable in their charges and the work has been good.
Description of Work: I called them because my main AC unit had gone out. I have a home warranty company but they almost always send out Dimension Electric, Heating & AC so I called them directly as I didn't want to lose any time in getting the central AC fixed. Debbie said she would try to work me in and asked me to make sure the home warranty company was notified and dispatched them, which I did. I have used Dimension Electric on multiple jobs in the last couple of years. In addition to doing Heating and Air Conditioning, they also do electrical and plumbing. I have used them for Plumbing and Electrical as well with good success.
