The guys show up on time and complete the work quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with the service.

They were professional, worked very hard, did way more than expected. The 16 foot high sided trailer was filled. I was amazed at the results. Recommend them highly.

They were very prompt in getting the work scheduled and showed up right on time. The 2 men did fast and efficient clean up of our front and backyard covered in leaves. They were very thorough and did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Chris was up in our face / texting threatening and accusing us of all sorts of things
including not paying the bill two days after we received it.  He remembered the job was finished two months
previously but failed to acknowledge or remember that we didn?t receive a bill for over two months.  We asked about the
bill a month after he finished the job and then again.
I need to add that the final bill presented to us by Randolph's lawn & Landscape Maintenance.
This is odd because we paid the company immediately that installed the sprinkler system that was almost 1/2 again as much as the installation of the sod.
  We had ongoing communication problems with Chris. 
For example what we asked him to do face to face wasn?t always communicated to Susanne and Samantha, i.e. I would call and they would say that Chris hadn?t told them.  We had asked him to maintain our lawn and gave Randolph?s landscaping specific instructions on what we wanted them to do.  These instructions weren?t followed and we had to reach out to the office on multiple occasions.  Going forward sometimes what we requested was done and sometimes it wasn?t, but we were still charged the same amount.  We received multiple excuses from Chris and Randolph?s as to why someone didn?t show up when they
were supposed to or something we requested didn?t get done.   I realize things happen in business, but not
repeatedly.
·       When we first met we told Chris that cost was important to us and I asked if he gave military discounts and was told:

That he gave a 10%
discount for military and senior citizens...None of the estimates nor invoices we received show a 10% discount.  If he had given a discount it would have been noted on the estimate or invoice.  He claims he gave it off of the estimate, but I have no record to if.
o   
The military discount wasn?t given on the original estimate
or on the final bill
o   
Based on that, the bill should be $457 less than the total
of $4,578.98
·       In Estimate 1351 he gave us
specific instructions as to how to water and take care of new sod.  I believed he should have known what we need to do
the instructions.  Some of our grass went into shock and died.  I asked Moore Landscaping who installed the sprinkler system to come out and tell us why the grass seemed to be dying.  He checked our watering schedule and asked who told us to water only one time per day and that new sod needed to be watered 3 times per day in order for it to take hold.  He made the correction.  We were told this 2-3 weeks after the grass had been laid in.
·       In estimate 1375 we had two
separate charges for metal edging, installation and the removal of two crepe
myrtles.
o   
We were told initially it would take 30?.  Later that was corrected and he indicated it
would be a total of 90?
§  On the estimate we were charged for 30? and 90? of metal edging, and installation.  That is 30? / $97.50 more than we should have been charged
·       I believe that the charges
should have been reduced by $97.50
·       He was asked to trim the
shrubs in the front flowerbed

Randolph?s landscaping didn?t provide us an estimate but given our
experience with Randolph?s and others we didn?t expect $250 for 2-3 hours worth
of work ($80-90/hr).  We were expecting
$25-35-40/hr.  I don?t consider what
Randolph?s did as major shrub trimming.
A reasonable charge given
other charges would be $120.00
·       I asked on several occasions if when the gardeners were mowing the yard and trimming outside of the
flowerbeds if they could use the gas trimmer and trim the grass that was
growing from the lawn into the flowerbed...might have taken 30-40 minutes.

A separate crew was sent out and it took them 1-2 hours to edge and
remove the grass that was growing into the flowerbed...nothing to do with
weeding.
§  This was a $30-60 job based
on other hourly charges by Randolph?s previous charges and our experience.
·       I believe a reasonable charge would have been $60.
 
As a comparison Randolph?s charged $135.00 + jackhammer rental for 4-6 hours
$35-40/hr. of intensive labor using a jackhammer to remove a concrete ring and
patio slab.... this took much more time than trimming shrubs and removing grass
along the inside edge of the front flowerbed...I use the above as a comparison
only.
 
Given the above the final bill would have been:
$4,578.98
- 457.00  Military discount
- 60.00  Redefine flowerbed edge (removing grass that had grown into bed)
- 97.50  Charge for 30? of metal edging that wasn?t used
-120.00  Charge for trimming shrubs in front flowerbed
$3,844.48 Should have been the final invoice based on my review and the military discount we were told we would get from Chris

We contacted Chris and he came by to give a free quote and let us know when his team will come by.
They came on time and were very professional.
Wish the price was a bit cheaper though.

Excellent.  They do a great job caring for our yard and keeping it look nice.  If we have a request about how something is done they will do it without difficulty.  The owner and all his employees are very courteous.

Very professional and excellent customer service. Work performed was pretty good. Price was little higher than I thought it would be, but I have not employed landscaping services before, so maybe that is just the going rate. They were concerned with my satisfaction, which was great.

The guys that come out to my house are always very professional and do an excellent job!  Its almost as if they attack the yard because they get it done so quickly and are gone that if you blink you might miss them.  I tend to forget when they are coming but they are always respectful enough to let me get my large dog out of their way instead of just opening the back fence and letting her escape, that is greatly appreciated.

The couple of times that I have spoken with the owner, Chris, he has been more than helpful and is always eager to assist me in any way he can.  Chris and his office staff have always been friendly.  This will be the 3rd year that we have been using them and we have never had any problems.  

We greatly appreciate the wonderful service they provide and would highly recommend them!

It went great. They showed up weekly, went about their job of cutting, trimming and edging and then using a leaf blower, cleaned the sidewalks and driveway. They then ring the doorbell to let you know they are finished. Polite and professional.

You blink and these guys are finished! I am amazed at how much I enjoy their service. If there is ever a problem/concern it is addressed within 24 hours. I will never use anybody else!

They arrived at the appointed time. Answered all our questions. Gave very good suggestions to controling and solving our landscaping problems. They trimmed trees and bushes beautifully. They cut and trimmed the lawn. They are currently taking care of our yard on weekly basis. They do a good job with out constant supervision.

I contacted their office the morning of June 30, 2014. I spoke with the woman who answers their phones. I explained to her that we needed someone to come out and do some basic work to increase the curb appeal of our house as we are wanting to sell. She said no problem and she would have someone come out between 3-5 pm that same day, and that they would call before they came. My husband and I were both home and their was never a call and no one showed up. If they can't even show up for the initial consult how would I ever trust them to do the work I needed? I definitely wouldn't use this company !

Chris was punctual to the time that was set for the estimate. He stated what he would do and the price of what it would cost. I liked the job so much that they are my lawn care providers every two weeks for maintenance and upkeep.

Provider's words to my wife were and quot; IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE JOB WE DO...YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAYand quot;

WHAT A LIAR! ! !

Provider used a RIDING MOWER on my very small front yard, scalped it down to dirt in more than one place, took out one of my sprinkler heads and mulched most of the leaves instead of raking and bagging them .

In the back yard, one of the workers used a blower to gather the leaves and then opened up my back gate and blew them out into the alley. When challenged and asked why he did that ...his response was a shrug a and quot; I DUNNO.and quot;

My wife had moved her car into the middle of our driveway to give the workers room to maneuver and work.

Somehow the worker(s) managed to put a dent in the left rear door of her vehicle....which they deny along with scalping the yard and taking out the sprinkler head.

When contacted, the owner called my wife a liar about the blowing leaves into the alley and said we waited too long to say anything about the yard and vehicle damage. We did not say anything for 3 week as we had a whole lot of other and quot;thingsand quot; going on in our lives and did not take time to look over everything closely...our fault. BUT when some one damages something ... that person or persons should have the INTEGRITY and HONESTY to own up to what they did.

IT SHOULD BE ADDED THAT THE and quot;WORKERSand quot; HAD TO BE TOLD REPEATEDLY TO REDO THEIR WORK.

Speaking of HONESTY and INTEGRITY...this provider advertises that he is a member of and quot;Professional Landcare Networkand quot; and that he is a Certified Turfgrass Professional.

THIS PROVIDER IS NONE OF THESE... ACCORDING TO and quot;PLANETand quot; PROFESSIONAL LANDCARE NETWORK...Randolph's Lawn and Landscape Management IS NOT A REGISTERED MEMBER OF PLANET NOR DOES HE HAVE ANY TURFGRASS PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS ON FILE WITH THEM.

YESTERDAY, MAY 7, 2014, THIS PROVIDER HAD THE AUDACITY AND IDOICY TO SHOW UP AT MY DOOR AFTER WE TOLD HIM WE WOULD NOT BE USING HIS SERVICES IN THE FUTURE AND WE WOULD NOT BE PAYING HIM SINCE HE DID NOT RENDER THE SERVICES WE VERBALLY AGREED UPON. THERE IS NOT NOR WAS THERE EVER A WRITTEN CONTRACT WITH THIS PROVIDER, ONLY A VERBAL AGREEMENT AND THE OWNERS and quot;WORDand quot; ....WHICH IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING AT ALL.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, I THREW THEM OFF MY PROPERTY. THE SON ATTEMPTED TO GET IN MY FACE AND WHEN I DIALLED 911 THEY LEFT WITH A LONG STRING OF UNPRINTABLE WORDS COMING FROM THEIR MOUTHS.

I left a message with their office and told the owner in a separate short phone conversation to Never Again send a crew to my residence and for him to cease and desist with his BULLYING attitude and that he needed to quit his false advertising.

MY ADVICE TO ALL IN THE SCHERTZ, CIBOLO, UNIVERSAL CITY TEXAS AND SURROUNDING AREAS IS TO NEVER TRUST OR USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER.

I USE THE WORDSand quot;WORKERand quot; AND and quot; SERVICE PROVIDERand quot; IN THE LOOSEST WAY POSSIBLE.

Chris Rudolph is the owner. I use them every month. They come out twice a week. They did an excellent job. They are punctual and professional. They do a good job.
