Roxanne had someone out that same day, a temporary patch was made to the roof to prevent further water damage. Roxanne kept me informed every step of the way, contractors were professional, on time, jobs done excellent.

JW Roofing is a great and very professional company. They were quick to call back and set up an appointment to go over estimate, materials,etc. They even sent letters to our neighbors to let them know what would be happening and to call immediately if there is any debris or garbage found in their yards. (One of our neighbors came over to let a member of JW Roofing know how much he appreciated the letter). The quality of the products are very good. About 2 weeks after installment we had a thunderstorm come through and not one area of leakage noted! We highly recommend this company for your roofing needs! Tom and Carolyn

Having a new roof put on your house can be one of the biggest decisions a homeowner can make. I had been looking for a roofing company for some time and was reluctant to move forward simply because I did not have experience with any roofing company around. Several of my neighbors had roofs put on their houses and they looked good. One of my neighbors was having a roof put on his house and I noticed something a little different. The roof just stood out and popped. In my opinion, it was the best-looking roof in my neighborhood. The roofing technicians, putting on the roof, took a lot of pride in the work they were performing. I asked my neighbor what roofing company he used and what his experiences with the company were. Without hesitation he said it was JW Roofing. He said Roxanne and her team were amazing to work with. I called JW Roofing and from that point forward it was one of the best experiences I could have asked for. Roxanne really took care of us from start to finish making the process so easy. She stayed in communication with us the whole way through. She is an advocate for her customers with the insurance company and adjusters. From start to finish Roxanne made sure there were no short cuts but only first-class work being done. One thing that really impressed me was at the end of the day when the roofing was complete the technicians took extra time to make sure everything was cleaned up and all stray nails were found and picked up. Then a second person came out after the work crew was gone to re-inspect the property and pick up any loose nails that may have been overlooked. If you are looking for a roofing company, I would highly recommend you call JW Roofing. You will be glad you did. I know I sure am.

This company is incredible. From start to finish of our roof replacement process JW Roofing and Remodeling were amazing. Roxanne is incredible. She's an excellent communicator and she's up front and honest about every detail. One really small thing arose and JW Roofing went above and beyond to make it right. I was thoroughly impressed with how they handled every piece of the process. Working with them was a low stress and very enjoyable experience. I will recommend them to everyone and would DEFINITELY use them again in the future!

Amazing service and quality work. I had several companies come out to give me an estimate for my roof replacement after some wind damage, and JW Roofing & Remodeling was far and above better than the rest. Other companies couldn't even begin to offer what JW was offering. Their staff are experts at working with insurance companies and helping you get the most out of your claim. Their experience in the business means that you will walk away satisfied with the product and service you received. We paid way less than I imagined for a roof way better than I thought we could afford.

W. Roofing and Remodeling! Roxanne's vast, detailed knowledge regarding the Insurance Claim process and her professionalism, were invaluable; culminating in the installation of a stunning, beautiful GAF Timberline Ultra HD Lifetime roof. The entire process was documented from start to finish with photos, emails, updates on all insurance company correspondence, costs all clearly spelled out, agreements and contracts clearly explained. An entirely above board and honest company. All the work done on the project was professional, top quality work. The professional crews came very early and stayed late, while working very hard to complete all jobs in scorching heat. They were all very respectful and polite and cleaned up all debris from the site daily. Shane and his carpentry crew did an exceptional job reframing and installing a huge, studio window and adding a new roof section, in addition to replacing and staining damaged cedar fascia and siding, that made my house look like new again. Gorge and his roofing crew replaced damaged decking, that only an artisan could in a previously poorly constructed area, so that it all seamlessly fit together. The roof itself is a work of art, and took my breath away when it was finished. Roxanne's ethics and desire to provide the highest quality work for her customers, carries through in all aspects of J. W. Roofing and Remodeling. My project entailed roof decking repair and a new roof installation, reframing and installing a large studio window with a new roof section, cedar fascia and siding replacement, installation of three new skylights, and sheet rock replacement. I highly recommend this exceptional company to anyone for any service they provide. I am most fortunate to have chosen them!

I’m still pinching myself! I’m a total novice when it comes to any kind of remodeling, including painting. A friend recommended I call Roxanne at J.W. Roofing and Remodeling (they had been pleased with a job done for them). She came to the house with Painter Rick, took pictures, and helped me understand all the job would entail, which included removing wallpaper and popcorn ceilings. I really appreciated their professional input, Several days later, Roxanne emailed me a proposal which outlined all that we had discussed and what it would cost me. I was thrilled the cost was so reasonable and so manageable. The crew of two painters worked steadily, coming in ahead of the scheduled start date to thoroughly prep the house before work began. Painter Rick even came over before that to talk colors with me, and his suggestions proved valuable. From start to finish took 10 days, and when they were done, I had a beautifully fresh home to move into. The work was absolutely professional, floor to ceiling, and all the trim. As I said at the beginning of this review, I am still pinching myself. What I had dreaded having to deal with, became a terrific experience. I’m so pleased with this company, and the outstanding customer service. I felt very comfortable working with Roxanne, the executive administrator. She was always very professional, and made sure throughout the job that everything was being done as per our contract. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company for all your painting needs. Good value, good ethics, good employees, and in the end a happy customer!

If you’re looking to replace your roof look no further. I own a couple rental properties and dealt with a lot of companies through out the years and to date JW Roofing has been the best company I’ve dealt with. Roxanne kept me updated through out the process and ensured my insurance company addressed all the items that needed repaired. A unexpected storm came through the area as the roof was being replaced which caused some interior damage and Roxanne ensured that I was happy with the repairs.

My wife and I recently had a carport added to our two story home, along with a new roof and new gutters. We wanted a carport that looked as much like an original part of the 53 year old house as possible. I did a relatively thorough search to find one company that could handle the whole project, because I didn’t want the carport sitting for any length of time with no roof, while waiting for some other bunch of people to follow up on the construction, and the same for the gutters. I especially did not want to spend a single minute chasing down various contractors on my own. We both feel like we hit the jackpot when we selected J.W. Roofing and Remodeling. Roxanne Derby, the Executive Administrator, made sure she understood what we wanted, ensured that we knew exactly what issues (weather, city permits and inspections, etc.) we were looking at, and rode herd on the project from start to finish, to include waiting patiently for my wife to make up her mind about roof color. I think she visited the work site almost every day, and as a final step, she was out there running a magnet over the property one last time, herself, to make sure we were free of nails and other sharp stuff, even though that had been done already by her crew. All we had to do was keep our cars out of the driveway for a few days, and write a couple of checks (and we were quite satisfied with pricing). We’re absolutely thrilled with the finished project; hopefully we won’t need to contact Roxanne about roofing again (Texas hail permitting), but if we have future remodeling, we’ll be in touch, and have already given her contact information to several friends.

I have never met a contractor like Roxanne that was so thorough in monitoring every aspect of the job until it was done. She informed me every step of the way what was being done, what to expect either in person, phone call, text or email. Pictures were sent to me throughout the work. I was sent communications of any contact with the insurance company. She took care of all permits, paperwork for HOA, and any other items requiring attention. I highly recommend JW Roofing for the quality of work, vigilance and communication through the whole process. It is for the above reasons and more that I give this company an A rating.

Quick and professional. Explained everything they were doing and why, sent pictures with the estimate and answered every question I had. I didn't feel pressured in to getting more work done than was necessary. The technician did a great job and when I was sent the final invoice I recieved pictures of the work during and after. Highly recommend!

After a significant rainstorm my mom noticed some possible water leaks in her garage. Once we started calling roofing companies for estimates, we quickly realized that not all companies are created equal nor do they care about their customers like JW Roofing and Remodeling. After calling roughly 8 companies from San Antonio to New Braunfels, only 4 returned my call with 3 completing the estimate process. Of the estimates I received, there was one company that quoted us over $2,000 using the exact same materials. However, once we sat down with Roxanne, I knew this was the only company for us. While going over the estimate, she was extremely knowledgeable of the products JW Roofing uses and a veteran at taking care of her customers. She took her time explaining the entire process to us from beginning to end and went above and beyond to explain things that other companies didn’t. Specifically, how to lower the home insurance premiums after receiving a new roof and decreasing potential hassels from future insurance claims. Things about this company that matter the most to me: With my mom being disabled, it was extremely important to me that she was comfortable with the individuals or company that would be doing this job. The day of the replacement, Roxanne came by to check on my mom several times throughout the day to see if she needed anything and ensure she was okay. Roxanne and her team took detailed pictures every step of the way to ensure any future claims needed due to weather damage would be covered in its entirety. The house is a single level, approx. 1100 sq ft. JW Roofing pre-positioned the materials the day prior so they could get started promptly on the scheduled day. The roof was completed within the scheduled timeframe and the entire area was cleaned when the job was done. During the installation process, Roxanne went into the attic to verify there was no water damage and no further repairs were required. Providing my mom with peace of mind. To simply state it, Roxanne and JW Roofing will take care of you like family. I would recommend them to anyone.

Earlier, my wife wrote a brief review but we both decided it required amplification. After a recent hail storm, I was confronted with installing a new roof. We asked a neighbor, that recently had the same experience, because of the apparent quality and attractiveness of his new roof. He enthusiastically recommended JW Roofing because of the quality of the shingle, caliber of work done, appearance of the new roof, and the way the installation was managed from beginning to end. Soon after meeting Roxanne Derby of JW Roofing, we understood his enthuasiam. Her expertise, product knowledge, interpersonal skills, and project management experience was easily observed in person and through visits to previous worksites. She was instrumental in identifying damage overlooked by the insurance adjuster and getting the roof replaced, on time. And, on occasion, critiqued workers (in a positive way), to get the job done according to specifications. We had roof, gutters, and downspouts replace, and some window screens. I recommended JW Roofing and Roxanne Derby enthusiastically. We love our new roof!

My roof was damaged by hail in 2018 and my insurancsppe company agreed to replace it. The internet and local advertising media produced a maze of businesses that could do this work at wide ranging pricing and project details. I settled on JW Roofing & Remodeling to do the job and could not be happier with the decision. Roxanne Derby was the project coordinator for our roofing replacement and she did a superb job. She handled everything involved with this project. Permits and HOA approvals were obtained quickly. Materials and supplies were delivered when they were supposed to be and supplemental contractors were arranged for when needed to complete the work. Roxanne’s through grasp of the legal requirements associated with insurance claims like mine as well as her hands on work ethic, gave me a great sense of confidence that my roof would be completed on time and within budget. It was. The skilled crews worked tirelessly and professionally to install my roof. High craftsmanship was evident in the final product and they left our property in pristine condition when they finished. Roxanne oversaw this part of the job too. If we ever need another roof JW Roofing will get the call. I will also make sure my friends know this company also.

Simply put JW Roofing & Remodeling was amazing. Let me start with the fact it took me a year to even call my insurance agency after the hail storm of 2016. After the appraisal in 2017 I asked the insurance agency for any recommended roofing companies as I honestly have trouble trusting roofing companies. I did some internet research on the recommended companies and none of them had any great reviews so I just blew it off since I felt the roof could hold for a bit longer. Then, it took me another year to actually consider getting any work complete since my shed was literally falling apart. So truth be told, I was walking by a neighbor’s house and really liked the shingle selection. I asked him about the company, if he trusted them, and if he would recommend them. He excitedly said yes and told me to call Roxanne Derby. He told me she was took care of everything, from the paperwork to working with the insurance company to coordinating the on-site employees. So I called Roxanne a couple days later and asked if she could give me an estimate on repairing the shed. She came out and we discussed my situation with the timeframe and necessity of repairing the shed. This lead to getting the roof done at the same time and timelines with insurance companies. So I said yes. I signed a couple of forms, picked the color and type of shingles, and literally was pretty much hands off from then on. Roxanne worked with the insurance company in covering updated city code requirements/upgrades, coordinated with my solar panel company (which is what I was initially concerned with in the beginning), scheduled the city inspector visits, and literally emailed/texted me almost daily with updates. I can honestly say that I am not a roofing professional and Roxanne IS! I am telling you she knows the business and how to work the other agencies involved with your roof. Without any numbers, my claim almost doubled due to items the appraiser missed and was unaware of, most importantly code compliance items. Without hesitation I highly recommend JW Roofing and Remodeling and from my foxhole, ask for Roxanne!
