Charges $25 to make appointment. Deducted from final bill. Called to confirm appointment day before. Called day of to coordinate earlier arrival. Arrived on time. Told me what they were going to do each step of the way. Inspected & cleaned fireplace and chimney flu. Went on roof and inspected chimney cap.

Sandy at Chimney Masters called the day before our appointment to verify and advised Kelvin would be the service technician handling the maintenance of our chimney.  Kelvin called 15 minutes before arriving on time, introduced himself and explained what he would be doing and how he would be servicing our chimney.

they had to specifically cut the panels in the fireplace, as the manufacturer had already gone out of business. that took about amount a month for them to make, but it appears that the panels are excellent. gave me some good tips about the do's and don't's of keeping the panels in good working order. the sweep was quick and efficient. all of the jobs were done professionally, and absolutely zero mess afterwards. will definitely use again.

Chimney Master came by for a house I just bought.  They cleaned the dryer vents, cleaned the chimney, and inspected the chimney for possible issues.  They were very responsive, timely, professional and reasonable. 
While they were here, I found out that the previous owner had shut off my gas and so it was only a wood burning stove.  I asked for an estimate for a gas insert, and they provided my estimates next business day.
EXCELLENT service and I will be using them again when I re-convert my fireplace to gas.

This company was great, they were available to come out the same week I called and were on time. The tech (Ray) was very friendly and professional. He left everything clean! I have nothing but a positive experience, I will use them again!

Technician called and said he would be a little late (stuck in traffic behind a big wreck). Arrived about 20 minutes before scheduled time. Was very professional and respectful. Told me everything he was going to do and why. Performed both tasks in about an hour. No repairs needed. Very clean! Great experience.

When I called the office and left a message my call was returned quickly.  Sandy was friendly, polite and professional.  She scheduled an appointment at a time convenient for me and when I needed to reschedule the time of day she was very gracious and accommodating.  Sandy also explained the technician could do most required repairs on the day of the cleaning. 
On the scheduled day, the technician was prompt.  He inspected and cleaned the chimney in a timely manner and left no mess.  Much to my surprise he did not suggest any type of repair (as I had expected).  I will definitely hire this company again where their services are needed. 

We were having trouble with our dryer and called the dryer repair man who told us the problem was not with the dryer, but the vent.  He suggested we call a chimney sweep.  Knowing we would like to have the chimney swept before winter, we decided to do both.  We went to Angie's List and found ChimneyMasters.  They had good ratings and no problems, so we decided to try them.  Kelvin Barsness came out (arrived right on time!!) to perform the services.  He was outgoing, professional, and obviously knew his job.  That did not stop him from listening to me when I told him the problem.  He set up to do the fireplace first.  He completely checked and cleaned the fireplace with little noise and NO mess!  He then moved to the dryer.  The dryer vent was blocked and was the source of the problem.  He cleaned the vent, replaced the hose and ring and was finished in less than an hour. They gave a cash discount.  Trusting people in my house is a serious matter for me.  I felt safe and feel like my home is secure.  I would recommend them highly!  Later in the fall we will have them back to clean the gutters.
