The negative was it took me 4 days to get an appointment. There was a communication error in I thought the appointment was on a Thursday and when I showed up 30 minutes early, was then told my appointment was the next day and there was no one to see me until the next day. While I am fairly sure I wrote the date correctly and can't be 100% certain that I did...so will say it was my error. When I did get seen, all went well an waiting times were minimum. Will use PA Bell and Alamo Medical again.

She is very caring and tries hard. The practice is like any general practitioners. The practice is really busy because it is a large practice but I do like her. She is usually on time to see me which is good. I don’t have to wait for an hour extra which I think is kind of normal now.

I have been seeing Dr. Lopez for 4 years and he is very good but he and his staff are not good at following up on tests that are preformed. I waited 2 weeks for one result and 3 weeks for them to give me a name of a doctor that I needed to see after results of a test. I really like Dr. Lopez but he does not seem like he wants to spend much time with you and is always rushed.

They are family oriented and they are in the neighborhood. I like them. They are an eclectic group so they have specialized people so it is easy to be referred and stay in the same group.

They are very courteous. They are quick, I didn't have to wait a long time. He listened. For a follow up, they had a follow up ready when I got out of the meeting with him and made those arrangements very quickly and courteously. Everybody in the office is really nice and professional. They take time to listen. The waiting room was nice and clean. The waiting time actually was short compared to other doctor's offices. I think I was there maybe 15 minutes.

We were not impressed by their customer service. My wife had problems with getting medical information transferred from Boston, where we lived in originally, down to St. Antonio and after taking a trip back to Boston to have them resend the stuff, we found out that these people already had the records down in St. Antonio. They just somewhat lacked in their administrative work.

Dr. Anthony is an excellent doctor. As a DO he looks at the whole person, not just the symptoms and uses aleopathic (standard medical) drugs judiciously. He's very good at osteopathic manipulation (NOT to be confused with chiropractic) and can deal with some conditions directly. Warmly recommended.

I was not very satisfied with the visit.  I advised the doctor that I hadn't had a physical in over a year and I was still never given one.  I had trouble getting my prescriptions filled.  I left messages for Dr. Lopez's nurse and she never got back to me.  I also went to see her and she told me to leave my phone number and she still never got back to me.  Other places I have been to have always faxed my prescriptions to my mail order company and they refused to do so therefore it took longer to receive my medicine.  I only saw Dr. Lopez once.

This is our second year seeing Dr. Padia and we've found her to be very effective. I like her communication style. She also takes the time to explain things and take cares of any concerns you have and address them. Her staff is really helpful and we've had a good experience with Dr. Padia.

Dr. Lopez has been my PCP for about 2 years.  He has always been very friendly, supportive and caring.  He always takes the time to listen to me and thoroughly answer my questions.  I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes past my appt. time to see him, and I never feel rushed when he comes in to see me.  However...
I gave communication a D only because it is impossible to get past the appt. clerk to talk to Dr. Lopez, or even a nurse on the phone if you just have a question.  I wanted to find out my lab results because my previous ones had been abnormal (showed an overactive thyroid).  Although I had a follow up appt. scheduled for 6 weeks later, I called to find out the results of my bloodwork.  I was told that I had to have an appointment to get those results.  Although that seemed ridiculous to me,  I asked for an appt. for the following week.   However, I was told that the Dr. had no availability for 6-7 weeks.  I could only get an appointment sooner if I was "sick".  I am an anxious person anyway, so this was a very frustrating response.  Although I am sure he is just giving the response he has been trained to give, I felt like the appt. clerk was extremely insensitive to my request. I was told that I would be notified if there was a serious concern about my lab results, otherwise, I would have to wait until I had my follow-up appointment (6 weeks away) .  Regardless, I, the patient, WAS concerned and should have been able to get an appt. OR better yet, a mere phone call, in a timely manner.  6-7 weeks is not timely to me.   I have never had this issue with any other doctors office.  It is especially irritating because I still have continuous symptoms (heart palpitations, PVC's, rapid heartbeat, etc) which are worrisome.  I hung up the phone with the appt. clerk very frustrated.  So communication with the office staff is a D as best.
Having said all that, Dr. Lopez is still a fantastic doctor.   I will still continue to go to him because he is a kind and knowledgeable doctor. I would recommend him to friends and family.  Just make sure you get EVERYTHING answered and clarified before you leave your appt. with him, because unless you have another appt., he will not call you because the message will never even be relayed that you would like to speak with him.

The office was clean and bright. I was seen the same day in which I called which is very important. I didn't have to wait more than about 10 minutes. Once called to the back, the physician was thorough and immediately prescribed antibiotics for the sinus infection. I never felt rushed and was made to feel comfortable and important. The entire staff was very kind. I would definitely use them again.

I like that it is close. And they're pretty good. Just like other doctors they are trying to cram as many people in as they can. It would be nice if they read your file before they saw you.

She spends more time with her patients than any other doctor we have ever had. The staff is very friendly and we have never been to a doctor like this. We will use her again in the future.

It went as well, and in part better, than expected. The staff was prepared and I completed the paperwork without problems. Dr. Wenzel was professional, a good listener and someone I trust with my medical treatment going forward.

I think she does a good job and she is very considerate. I really think she likes what she does. She researches information for you if she doesn't know an immediate answer. She will always give you the best options. She is real good with a follow-up and she always calls you back when you call her with a question.
