The workers were quick and thorough. They left no debris behind. The trees look great. They were very polite and helpful. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction.

After reading the reviews here, I decided to call them. Jon was very responsive. Came out immediately and gave me an estimate. They did the work the next day. Everyone on the crew was extremely nice and very polite. When they were through, they left my yard cleaner than when they arrived! I would not hesitate referring them.

Excellent work and timely. During the job the crew accidentally dented one of the front gutters, Jon took care of it, no questions asked. Don't hesitate to call this company, they'll do you right!

He answered the phone the first time we called and came immediately to give us an estimate. The price was the lowest I've ever paid for tree service by far. The next day, 2 crews came over, trimmed and mulched my 5 live oaks, cleaning up nicely afterward. The trees are all much taller than the two story house. The day after the work was done he came back and made sure we were happy with the service and accepted the agreed payment with the Angie's list magazine coupon discount.

Jon came out the same day I called and gave me an estimate which sounded fair and I told him to do the work. They were out the next day and performed the work to my satisfaction, but when Jon came by to inspect his crew's work, he said that they had missed a few spots that they should have trimmed, so he sent them back the next day to get it perfect. He declined my offer to pay that first day, saying "not until I'm satisfied". Folks, it doesn't get any better than that in my book.

The results were excellent! I talked to Jon (Arborist) on the day before the work began. The company showed up on time as agreed and did the work. There were no surprises or changes in the work. The tree was large and the shredded limbs filled the truck attached to the shredder. The additional lumber filled a pickup truck. They cleaned up the debris and the site was neat and clean when the departed.

Within an hour of my initial call Mr. Chalker was at my home and gave me a price. Although it was a little higher than I had anticipated, after reviewing other reports I felt reassured that he would do a good job. Within another hour he had a crew there did the work agreed upon, raked whole area and was finished in less than another hour. I was pleased to give him my payment.

The service was priced for 2 days of work, rather than by the number of trees. There were 4 men in the crew both days. Overall they did a very nice job, especially with the stump removal (we had several). The crew cleaned up all the branches and debris from the yard.

Jon's workers showed up on a Saturday morning at the time they said they would, 0830. They brought a large wood chipper so they could dispose of all debris on site. They worked until it started raining, about half way done. Came back following Monday and finished the job. We are very pleased how it turned out. They cleaned up after themselves pretty well since I had to look at the trees to be certain they had finished.

Getting ready to replace roof and had trees trimmed away from roof and out of wires. John came and gave us a very fair estimate on the day that we called, and sent a crew out within the week. The crew did a great job and cleaned up everything. They did miss getting a few branches out of the wires on first pass, but came back and finished up within a couple of weeks.

Excellent, John's crew was very professional from the beginning, starting work without any fuss. They were very respectful of the landscaping, moving plants that were in planters away from where they were working and keeping debris off of shrubs. They arrived on Monday at 10:30 and worked that day until almost 6PM. There were back on site the next morning at 8 and worked until about 1:30PM. They shredded the debris on site and did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves. They actually left the work site cleaner than it was when they got here.

Jon, the owner, gave me a quick estimate. They were also the lowest in price. I was able to schedule for the next day. He came with his crew and met me after the job was done. There was not a leaf or saw dust to be found. I was impressed with the speed and cleanliness of the job.

We've lived here 17 years and over the years I've had several different tree services. This is by far the best work we've ever had. He receives my very highest recommendation. There is not a single thing about the entire process that I would think needs improvement. He takes special care with Angie's List members, and honors the discount. A++++++.

They were excellent. They were thorough and responsive. They scheduled me fairly quickly and came on time. They did a good job of explaining what they were going to do and what they did when they finished. They did a good job of cleaning.

This was one of 2 contractors I called to get an estimate from. I talked to the owner and he said he would call me back and set up an appointment. A week later he called me back and asked if his guy Manuel ever called me back. I told him that I never heard from any one and that I just figured that they had all the work they could handle so I gave the work to another contractor. When he found out that I used Angie's list to find him he wanted to cut the other contractors bid in half just so I wouldn't write about my lousy experience with his company. Competition is a good thing, the cream rises to the top and the bad ones sink. I would never call Alamo City Arbor for anything.

The crew was always on time and work throughout the 3 days the project took to complete. They removed all the branches they cut from our trees and raked the yard of all the minor twigs and leaves that fell during their work. They also cut and stacked the trunks of the trees we had removed into fireplace size firewood. They were very respectful of our property and we are very pleased with the work crew.

They did a very good job. They were out in a hurry and took care of the problem. They cleaned up everything very well. They did honor the estimated price that they had given us.

I called and John came out the same day. He gave me an estimate and the crew was there the next day. It took them 3 days to do everything. They cleaned up and put bird feeders and patio furniture back in place. Done professionally and efficiently.

They were excellent. They showed up when they were supposed to and they did everything they said they were going to do. They are very professional and cleaned up when they left. They even did a little extra. I was very satisfied.

After reviewing pricing, I called them back on Thursday to let them know I wanted to go ahead and have the tree cut down and the stump removed. They came on Friday morning and proceeded to cut down the tree and grind down the stump in about an hour. They removed all tree limbs, stump, and debris and also swept the street and sidewalk. I paid and they were on their way!

Jon came and gave me an estimate, and I called and made an appointment. Three men came, cut the limbs and branches, and cut down the small tree. They then hauled all the limbs to their truck, chopped them up, and took them away. They swept my patio, and the street where their truck was parked. The job was done well, and the cleanup was excellent.

Jon came out July 15th, surveyed the property and gave me a written estimate. I faxed the authorization back to him on the 16th to start the job on the 29th. He called the 27th to see if they could start the next morning (I was also having a bit of landscaping done) so they could get ahead of the landscapers and I agreed. In the course of their work, they discovered one of my huge cedar trees was split down the middle and recommended its removal. We agreed on the additional price and they proceeded. They re-hung the bird feeders and bird houses, completely and thoroughly cleaned up the debris and finished the job in 2 1/2 days.

This was the first time we had used their services. They had the lowest quote, were very quiet, nice and efficient. They came exactly on time and did a wonderful job. They cleaned up everything so well. I would recommend them to anyone.

I left a message with Jon. He called back shortly & made an appointment for giving a bid. A few hours later I accepted the bid & his crew came out & finished, all in the same day. They also did a fine job of cleaning up, the parking lot was left cleaner than they found it.
