Description of Work: Alamo Arbor Care Tree Service heavily fertilized all of our trees - some very large. They also trimmed and thinned out some of the trees, removing dead limbs and heavier branches.

Description of Work: Removed 2 mature dead Hackberry trees and grind 1 stump, remove 2 Loquat trees and stumps, pruned Pecan trees and 1 Lagustrum, cleaned up debris & brush, and planted 1 Magnolia tree

Description of Work: Removed 1 large tree and 4 smaller trees. First time clean up of dozens of live oaks and juniper cedars, raising the canopy considerably and removed dead wood. Removed 5 4-5 inch diameter stumps and ground down 6 stumps. Removed and chipped all downed wood, raked the entire yard clean. I also bought 3 beautiful new trees from Jon, planted and guaranteed for 1 year, for another $893.

Description of Work: Completely removed two trees, trimmed a bunch of other trees, ground the stumps to nothing. Carried debris up 65 steps from the lake to haul off. Planted one tree where the two were removed from. Cleaned up every branch and all debris.

Description of Work: John Chalker and his crew of 4 men removed approximately 12 very large native trees that had died during the drought. They also trimmed out dead areas and shaped about 25 other trees including a huge native live oak.

Description of Work: After this summer of no watering, my front and backyard were a mess! The grass was dead and the weeds were growing. Weeds were growing where there should have been lawn and in the flower beds. Jon, owner of Alamo City Arbor Care, came to my rescue. His crew cleaned out all the flower beds, installed weed blocker and mulched the flower beds. They removed the dead grass and weeds and tilled the dirt in preparation for the new sod. His crew did this for the front and backyard. They removed the weeds around my trees, installed weed blocker and mulched the areas. I have 2 trees next to my drive and lawn; Jon put in brick edging next to my lawn around the trees. He made sure that the brick edging matched the bricks on my house. The area looks beautiful! He fixed some problem drainage areas that I had. His crew trimmed approximately 8 trees around my house and then trimmed a couple more without charging me extra. He did extra work for me and didn't charge me more than what was the initial cost.

Description of Work: Our trees were in desperate need of trimming. We have quite a few trees on our lot--several of which required them to climb up into. They cut down limbs hanging over our roof, trimmed dead wood, & gave them a good shape-up. They did an outstanding job cleaning up when they were through.

Description of Work: Talked to Jon Weds, accomplished the estimate Thurs morning and started work the same day. Had a new home built with 6 large live oaks, all 25-40 ft tall, never been trimmed. 3 guys worked a solid day and a half doing an excellent job removing all the small dead branches, the moss build-up which was extensive, cut back limbs from the house as well as trimmed a few broken larger branch stubs.

I called John on a Saturday Morning, he came and provided an estimate while on site that afternoon and began working on the project on Monday afternoon, finishing up on Tuesday.
