Called the phone number but did not get a voice message prompt. Was surprised when Jon called back apologizing for missing my call. We set up an appointment two days later when it was convenient for me. They cam ethe next day and trimmed the trees. They did exactly what I needed and left my yard in good shape.

I made initial contact on Angie's List email then made an appoinement for July 15, 2013 for them to coem to my house for an estimate for front yard lanscaping. About an hr past the appointment time, they called to appologize about being late due to the storm that day and asked for me to call or text them to reschedule. I sent them a text either that day or the next and never heard back nor did they follow up. I feel the business should follow up with the customer, not the customer to track down and find the business. They were very responsive to set up an appointment though.

Jon met with me to provide a quote to perform the work and I found him to be very professional, knowledgeable and possessing a friendly customer service oriented attitude. I had what I had deemed to be a tricky job as I requested the removal of several large (16" diameter) limbs from a 35' tall oak that hung over our pool. Jon assured me that his crew would handle it with ease, and made suggestions on how I could clean up the remainder of the canopy to improve the overall light penetration without endangering the health of the tree. He arrived today with his crew and commenced work on time. The results were beyond what I had anticipated. The entire space was impacted visually by Jon's work -opened up with light and the area above the pool cleared - it was an completely different backyard. Although the tree had several major limbs removed you could not tell by looking at it that so much had been done; it just looked "right" or natural and more majestic than before. The yard was left spotless - they did an outstanding job cleaning up after themselves. I was motivated to write a good review because great work deserves to be recognized, and I feel Jon and his crew did a great job. Highly recommended.

They came on a Friday, which is the day we requested. It was a great deal of work, there were a substantial amount of dead limbs as well as live ones that were just out of control. They did a GREAT job! Other than the tree looking awesome you couldn't even tell they had been there. There were no branches on the ground, everything was cleaned up! I was very impressed with the entire process. Alamo City Arbor Care will be our landscaping team for life. If you want a great job done professionally and not to mention affordably, then you need to call John.

The experience went great. They were very nice and prompt.

The guy is an arborist so he knows trees. He's not just some guy that comes in with a saw and goes in and cuts everything.

I thought this was an excellent price. They came on time and finished super quick. They did an excellent job on clean up. I was very satisfied with the job.

We have used Him twice now. He is not the cheapest, but He does good work.

Alamo City Arbor Care did a great job. We have a huge tree in our front yard that hung over another smaller tree causing it to grow crooked. Their work was quiet, professional and neat. Every branch they cut was disposed of on the spot. For that big of a tree, 3 men did the job in about 3 hours which was great. Mr. Chalker personally called me the following Monday to ensure that we had a good experience. When I told him that there was one branch that did not get cut, he gladly offered to send his men back out - and cut that branch. 2 days later, the branch cut. Overall, this was a great experience and I will call them again if need trees trimmed or cut.

They did all right. They did the job, these people are great. They're a little high on price.

On April 18, Eric Gonzalez came to give us an estimate on a small landscaping project for our courtyard. His crew spread river rock to hide an unsightly French drain already in place. The side entrance to garage apartment had a very deep step to the entrance. They built up an additional step using limestone and crushed granite. The rest of the limestone slabs were imbedded in crushed granite to create a lovely walkway. They added a flexible metal barrier around the oak tree adding red mulch and accent plants. They added special touches that made a neglected area into an attractive welcoming site.

It went very well. The guy that came out gave me an estimate and a discount from Angie's List. He came out when he said he would come out with a crew and they cut down a tree. They worked for several hours and found another couple of roots after the chipper had already been loaded so they unloaded and it took care of those. They also did a great job on clean up. They were a good team. I was very happy with the job they did. I would certainly recommend them to anybody.

They arrived on scheduled with their chipper, oh, how I love that chipper! Jon has taken care of my three oaks over several years. They are beautiful! Their catopies are outstanding. All I can say about their clean-up is that they have done a superb job each time.

This company did such an amazing job, that we will only use this company for any future landscaping or tree trimming jobs in the future. With minimal elapsed time between giving the estimate and performing the job, we were very pleased with the service provided by Alamo City Arbor Care.

Jon was excellent at scheduling the service to meet our needs and was punctual, worked quickly and cleaned up the entire area. The ground was left ready to plant new foliage. We would use his services again.

I call several tree trimming companies. When I called Alamo City Arbor Care, we made the appointment and John was prompt and on time. He inspected my trees and thoroughly explained the process, and gave me an estimate on the spot. The workers showed up and did a fantastic job. I was just amazing to see these guys climb these large towering trees and professionally do their work. John inspected their work and the areas I want special attention given to they did so. I appreciate John's passion for his work and the love of trees. My wife and I are also lovers of trees. John is extremely knowledgeable about tree care and highly recommend this company for the care of your trees.

We keep calling John's company back because we are always satisfied by the quality of the work done. Every time we call the same workers show up. They always complete the job to our satisfaction and charge fairly for it. The job was done well and the nuisance trees are gone!

John's workers were at our house less than twenty minutes after we called them. They arrived assessed the damage and removed the tree limb without damage to the remaining part of the tree or the fence. Alamo City Arbor Care has been at our home numerous times for various tree related issues. The company is responsive, does excellent work and charges reasonable prices.
