I was referred by my realtor when I was prepping the house for sale. I was very happy with the job that they did. Would definitely recommend.

We had to reschedule this appointment several times due to bad weather, but they called each time. Work was done quickly with a large crew and they cleaned up as they went.

The guys called when they were on the way, on the date scheduled for service. Once they arrived, there was "no" messing around. They knew what I wanted done and to achieve, and since John, the owner and one who gave me estimate wasn't there, told me there was good communications and very specific. They immediately went to work. There was "no" hesitation or messing around. And, they didn't stop until the work was done. And to my complete satisfaction. The trees look great and ALL the issues I had concerns with were completely taken care of. And by the way, they cleaned up EVERYTHING. When they were done and left, other than the trees looking great, you couldn't tell they were ever there. They did so good another neighbor came to get information. Everything with Alamo City Arbor Care was a great experience. Very professional, polite, obviously knowledgeable and their crew was excellent and just based on their work, very experienced and professional. Not only would I recommend Alamo City Arbor Care, I plan to again use their expertise in the very near future to have some trees planted in m back yard. When they were done everything looked fantastic and i couldn't even tell they had been there.

When I called about an estimate, the gentleman showed up the same day. He seemed very knowledgeable, was pleasant yet professional, and provided what I felt was a reasonable price for the amount of work involved. The crew showed up when promised, worked quickly, thoroughly cleaned up the area, and in my opinion did an excellent job.

I found them off of Angie's List. The service turned out very good.

I got an estimate the day after I called, January 20th, to prune and trim 2 large oaks, mostly to stop the growth into my neighbor's house. The quote was for $525, after a $50 discount coupon from the neighborhood circular. Not a bad price, but we needed a couple of weeks to save the money. I called back on the 30th to schedule the work and got the voicemail. I left a message about getting on the schedule, but to date I have not received a return call. Since I had the money and needed to get the oaks pruned before oak wilt season, I found and bought a $329 coupon through Angie's List for the Tree Guys of Texas. They were at my house the next day, and my trees look great for less. So in a way, not getting a call back was a blessing but regardless, it is highly unprofessional not to at least call back, even if they have to refuse the job.

They cleaned up after themselves and behaved professionally throughout the process. We have used them before and will not hesitate to do so again as needed.

It went great, they are excellent. Good response time and reliable. Trustworthy.

The owner Jon came out the same day I initially called to give me an estimate. On the agreed upon day for the service, the workers showed up exactly on time. The workers did a great job removing three mesquite trees from our backyard, one of which was very large and had grown over the roof of our house. They worked hard and finished the job in less than four hours, including hauling all of the debris out of the backyard. They did a great job at a very fair price.

We are not living in the state yet, and a non-professional person could have taken advantage of this, but the work was performed as agreed upon and within a few days. Jon emailed us a photo of the work he had done, too, so we could see what it looked like after he ground the stumps and it looks great. He allowed us to use our credit card as payment, and did not ask for any pre-payment, which is pretty good for someone living out of state.

Jon Chalker, arborist, came out first and assessed my trees, patiently answered all my questions, and gave me a quote. Then his really efficient, highly professional crew did an excellent job of "lifting" the gorgeous old oak trees in both my front and back yards. As a courtesy, they also trimmed some overgrown hedges and shaved the roots of one oak that was tripping us. They carefully painted all the open wounds with pruning sealer and cleaned up all the fallen debris from the roof and yard. The trees look wonderful and healthy, and I thought the price was very fair.

They returned my initial call promptly and we set up a date for an estimate then a date to cut down the tree. While there I also asked them to cut my oleanders which line my fence (they reached the second floor window), they did for an additional 50.00. Exactly the price I was thinking of. He came w/four men and I don't think it took them an hour and they cleaned up the mess from the tree. I would use them again.

Starting with being early to give me my quote, and showing up when they said they would to do the work, everything about this company is superior! They were on time, they were professional, they cleaned up behind themselves and they did a great job trimming my trees, removing my ball moss and they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

The company was very proactive when coming out to inspect the trees prior to the trimming, the workers showed up on time, and the price was reasonable. Furthermore, they took care to avoid causing any damage during the trimming, and they cleaned up after themselves which we appreciated.

Initially, the owner came out to provide an estimate, and he was very friendly, genuine, and honest. His crew arrived shortly after that and did a good job for a reasonable price. I really appreciated that they took care to keep the resulting debris out of my pool and that they disposed of all of the debris after finishing the job.

Everything went well. They showed up on time, removed all of the subsequent debris, and charged a fair price for the work. I would definitely recommend the company to others.

The crew had a good work ethic and seldom took breaks which allowed it to complete the work in one day. In addition, they did an excellent job of removing all the leftover debris, and the price was very fair considering the amount of work that had been done.

Everything turned out well. They completed the work within one day, cleaned the yard up before leaving, and did a good job for a reasonable price.

They were punctual, personable, and responsive. Initial bid was for $725 to clear trees from roof line at the back of the house and remove dead wood from oaks in front. On the scheduled day of service, we expanded the service to include clearing dead wood from another group of trees at the very front of the property line. Work crew got right down to it, did a beautiful job and cleaned up very nicely afterward. We left when the job was about 3/4 done and came home to a very pleasing sight.

This is the second time we have used Alamo City Arbor. John, the owner, is very responsive and professional. He returned calls and his crew arrived on time and did a great job. They removed a dead cedar tree and planted an oak tree in the hole from the cedar. John called us a few days later to make sure we were happy with the work and gave us our Angie's list discount that we had forgot about when we paid his crew.

After some initial difficulty getting someone out to give me an estimate, Mike came out and looked at what I wanted done. They came a couple of days later to do the trimming and the end result is very nice. The tree in the front yard was in desperate need of pruning and shaping and it really looks great! They did the job while I was a work so I can't say how fast it took them but the yard was clean and you would have never known they had been there except for the nicely shaped tree.

We met with Eric to discuss what we would like to have done. We had some ideas and even showed him some pictures. Eric talked to us about his ideas and we could see we were on the same page. He put together an estimate and presented it and we agreed to the work. Before he started the work we had a pretty good rain. Eric came by to check out how the water ran and adjusted how wide to run the river rock. We were extremely pleased with the job that Eric and his team did. We told Eric we would call him as soon as we were ready to landscape the backyard. When we were ready Eric and his team were very busy with other jobs but agreed to work over the July 4th weekend to get our job completed before a big event we were hosting at our home. Again we were extremely pleased with the final project. We have had several compliments on our landscaping and two of our friends contacted Eric to do their landscaping. What I really would like to highlight is we had a flood level rain on Saturday September 28th. The rain washed away several areas of our crushed granite. I texted Eric pictures of the damage on Sunday. He texted me back and said they would be out the next day to repair the damage at no charge. They did come the next day and surveyed the damage and created a design to solve the flow of rain water that could happen in the future and also make it still look attractive. Eric and his team are professional and friendly. They always seem to go that extra length and do a little extra just because it will look better. Some landscaping companies charge a minimum of $250.00 to do a digital display of landscaping. Eric has a great eye and I trusted what he showed me from pictures of what he was going to do and saved on that cost and was able to use that money to do more landscaping. As I said Eric has a great eye and I made the right decision. I am very pleased with Alamo City Arbor Care and Eric and his team will continue to do our landscaping. Our next project is our side yard.

I asked for two trees to be trimmed. Don't lnow if it was understood at time of estimate since husband was one home at time of estimate. Would have paid for both trees to be done. When asked if the other tree was going to be trimmed the answer was vamanos. So it did not get trimmed. From now on I will get someone that I can talk to and get what I need done.
