All work was done efficiently and professionally. Jon and 3 workers arrived on time, started without any delay, worked throughout the day, and completed all work and cleanup by the end of the day. We plan to hire Jon again to work on the side and front yards.

John's team of professionals showed up and quickly got to work. We started to see immediate improvement on the first day. There was a siginificant amount of work which they tackled light speed. Every day was followed by cleaning up and hauling off the debris only to return early the next morning to get started again. John was always responsive to our questions throughout the process and made recommendations along the way. But it in the end its the results that matter and I can attest that the trees look magnificent and the home so much more inviting thanks to their great work. On time, on budget and professional throughout!

They where awesome came the time I was scheduled did a great job cleaned up everything. Mr.chalker was very professional told me what was going to happen. The guy's on his team we're all very nice. My front yard great after they did everything! !

The 3 man crew arrived early and completed the job timely. One in the tree trimming the high limbs, one on the ground trimming the low limbs and the other cleaning as the limbs were falling. We are very pleased with the end result.

We had a wonderful experience with Jon and his crew. We had a large red oak tree in our front yard that was suffering (i.e. dying and nearly dead). We tried for 2 years to bring it back to life, but had no luck. We called Jon on Saturday and he was at our house first thing on Monday morning to provide a quote. We were hoping to keep the price for removing the tree around $300 and his quote came in at $400 to cut down and remove all traces of the tree. He was the most trusted person we spoke to (regarding other quotes) and while he was not the cheapest, he is the one that we thought could do the best job. When we finally decided to hire them, it was a simple phone call and he had the job done, immediately. He had a crew that happened to be near our house, and within 3 hours of calling him in the afternoon, the tree and all of the limbs were gone before we even got home from work. The job site was perfectly clean as if nobody had even been there. We were shocked and pleased all at the same time. I would highly recommend this company. They are nice, honest, knowledgeable and I would most certainly use them again.

Selected provider based on prior reviews. Went great and easy to work with.. Jon promptly returned initial inquiry and got the job scheduled. Crew was excellent and made sure they did what I wanted. Clean up was great as well. I highly recommend and plan to use in the future.

We have two Bradford Trees in our front yard that really needed trimming. Jon came out and gave us a free estimate the end of last year. He told us we should wait until all of the leaves dropped and call the beginning of the year. Jon came back the end of February with two workers. They raised the canopy, shaped and thinned both of them out a bit. They were all very professional and did a great great. They picked up all the branches from the yard and left everything looking great. We will be using Alamo City Arbor Care again in the future when the trees need another trim.

Jon and his team were very responsive to trim my trees within days from when I called. I originally had one tree that was rubbing the shingles on the roof of my 2-story. I asked for an estimate on this tree. While performing the estimate, Jon gave the recommendation to trim the tree right on my neighbors line. This tree would distract if left undone from the appearance of the trimmed tree. I talked with my neighbor and told Jon to do both. His crew arrived and did a great job raising the canopy, clearing the dead limbs and treating cut limbs. I appreciate how his crew utilized fall protection and safety ropes as they trimmed the trees. Afterwards, they cleared and cleaned the debris with rakes and blowers. I did not have to do any cleaning behind them. They did a Great Job!

Great service by Jon and his team. This was our second time using their tree trimming service. Jon was prompt in returning my initial phone call and scheduled to come out and perform an estimate. The team was able to complete our work within 2 days. Excellent work. We have already recommended Alamo City Arbor Care to our friends.

After contacting several tree trimming companies, I called Alamo city Arbor care. They came out that afternoon to do an estimate and were ready to go the next day. What an amazing transformation. The clean up made our trees look heathly with out decreasing any shade. Our two front trees looked like they grew 10ft. The took care around my daughters' vetagble garden. They biggest reason we called was to clear the trees that were in contact with the house. We lost no shade in our back yard! They even cleaned up more then they took down (i.e. all the limbs my husband had attempted to take down). Quick, clean and professional. I couldnt have hoped for better service.

Overall a very positive experience using Alamo City Arbor Care. Jon was responsive to our request for a quote, understood what we wanted to accomplish and provided expert advice. The crews were very efficient and professional. Our trees look great and the overall appearance of the property has vastly improved. We won't hesitate to use Alamo City Arbor Care in the future.

We had two crews show up at our house on Friday and they proceeded to do a full clean up of our ~20 trees on our lot. They cleaned out all the dead wood and and moss that had built up over the years and lifted the canopy. They also trimmed all of our hedges along our fences and one side of our house. This was a big job and it took them 1 1/2 days to complete. They did a fantastic job on the trees and a great job of cleaning up afterwards. The yard had no branches or debris left around when they were done on Saturday. I would recommend Jon and his crew for any size of job. We had quotes from a number of companies and they were all within a couple hundred dollars. We had seen the work they had done at other houses in our neighborhood compared to others and their work just seemed to be more thorough than some of the others we had seen. With this many trees we wanted to get the best job done that we could so it would last us as long as possible.

They did a great job. In and out in just a couple of hours and the trees look great. Price was better than the other estimates too. Jon is very knowledgeable about.trees.

Took down one tree, trimmed two others, trimmed several overgrown bushes. Excellent results, perfect clean-up Prompt response to our initial call; right on the time that they said they would arrive; not cheap, but very fair pricing. This is the second time we've used Alamo City Arbor Care, and we plan on using them again.

They trimmed and pruned approximately 10 trees. The trees were growing on to our house and they cut them back far enough were they won't hit the house during wind. They did a lot of other pruning to the trees as well. The trees look great!

Jon met me at the lot and gave me an estimate at that time. He understood exactly what I wanted, answered my questions, and guided me with respect to which trees were worth saving. The work was completed as scheduled, and I was very pleased with the result. The lot looks great and the oak trees were beautifully trimmed and shaped. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company in the future.

I had an estimate the day after I contacted them, which was a Friday. On Monday, the crew showed up on time and knocked out the entire job within 6 hours. They were professional, prompt, and left my yard looking better than the way they found it. They even went above and beyond by removing debris from my roof and patio, which was there before they even showed up. Highly recommend this company, and I would not hesitate to use them again!

Quality and timely service from the first phone call for information to the day of service. The crew showed up within the window of time given and immediately went to work. Twice they went and got me to ensure that everything they were doing was what I need done. When the job was complete the head man and I walked the front and back yard where I noticed two items that I hadn't requested but asked if they could take of it, which they immediately did. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

He was great. His workers accidentally knocked a few shingles off the roof and Jon let me deduct the expenses to fix it from the bill. I have used him before. He was very nice and professional. He knows what he is doing and knows a lot about trees. He came out right away as well. They cleaned up very well. I would recommend them to others.

An excellent company to work with - starting with the owner, Jon. We contacted him on Monday and by Wednesday the service was completed. This is probably unusual, because it often takes time to schedule tree service. Jon was very responsive, very courteous and helpful, and the utmost professional. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done (trimming and raising the canopy, etc.) and how he would care for the various trees depending on species, etc. He knows trees. His crew is absolutely the best, taking ultimate care not to injure other plants, bushes, landscaping as they expertly trimmed the live oaks and other trees. The price was reasonable and we couldn't complain on a two-day turn-around. I would definitely hire them again and will when any tree issues arise. Could not have asked for a better experience!

I asked Jon Chalker to clean up the dead limbs on our very mature oaks, pecans and cedar elms on our large lot. Alamo City Arbor Care is the only tree service I trust to trim or remove trees from our property. There is oak wilt in our neighborhood (castle hills area) a Arborist experience is needed with oak wilt in the area. All went very well, Alamo City Arbor Care services our trees annually. Jon's crew is always on time, professional and has done an outstanding job for us every time.

We chose to call Alamo City Arbor Care based on their good ratings and their description of services. After a few days "Eric" came out. He couldn't tell us what kind of trees we had (other than "oak"), and he was unable to suggest landscaping alternatives. We were told we would receive an estimate in my wife's e-mail account. We waited a week and no estimate. We called Eric and he said he had the e-mail address wrong and that he would immediately send us the estimate. We never received it. If Alamo City Arbor Care is too busy to even send an estimate I presume they already have enough business and I won't be contacting them again. Since e-mail systems notify the senders almost immediately if an e-mail address is bad, I have trouble believing that Eric couldn't have been more proactive in getting an estimate to us.

John's crew showed up early and got the job done quickly with minimal disturbance to my yard. I was very pleased with the service I received and with the price considering the amout of work that was done.

I needed a 50 year old tree removed and the tree was sandwiched between a metal building and a deck I didn't see how it could be done without a lot of moving, etc. The crew from Alamo City Arbor Care did everything necessary and completed the job in one day. They did an excellent job and the price was fair. They were very professional and gave everything a cleaning. I checked with Angie's List and I believe it helped me select the right company. Also, there was a welcome deduction for using Angie's List.
