It went well. The work was done quickly. The area was clean when we got home. The trees looked great.

Jon is very knowledgeable about trees and tree health challenges. He explained in detail the healthy aspects of the tree as well as health issues that could become a problem later. So I will do "watchful waiting" and keep an eye on the tree and call Jon back as needed. His consultation fee is very reasonable, and less than that of many competitors. When it comes to judging the viability of a tree, I prefer to rely on an ISA certified arborist like Jon. I will never use uncertified father and son crews or tree trimmers that knock on your door. They only want to overcharge you and cannot reliably assess a tree's hidden health.

Jon was very responsive, easy to work with and quoted a fair price for the amount of work that needed to take place. He came by and assessed the area then offered a recommendation about what should be removed versus trimmed. We trusted his professional opinion and were not disappointed. He and his crew worked fast and when they left the yard was clean! We will definitely be calling again for future needs.

Jon is such a great guy! Very personable, funny and professional. We walked all around the tree with him pointing out various things to me. Jon answered all of my questions in detail, relieving the anxiety I felt thinking the tree might be dying. He didn't have to perform any service as the tree didn't require it, much to my relief! My husband and I called Alamo City Arbor Care for an estimate on tree trimming for our front and back yard on Wednesday and they were here on Saturday, five minutes early! During our initial meeting we spoke with John about our concerns and budget and he offered sound advice and options for us. When he and the crew arrived they not only looked professional but John insisted the crew wear and use all safety gear all the time (including ropes and harnesses for the tall oaks). Care was taken to guard flower beds and lawn, clean up was immediate and thorough, work was finished by mid afternoon. We are very pleased with the work and would absolutely recommend Alamo City Arbor Care. Thank you John!

Jon came out and I'd originally only requested that three trees get removed but he asked what else I'd planned on doing and I explained the vast amount of work required but that I'd spread it out based on expense. He evaluated all the work required and gave me an awesome estimate of only $1,750. I'd actually expected an estimate of twice this price. I first had to have a shed removed and gave Jon a call on 24 Aug around 2:30PM and asked when he might send a crew out. He actually sent a crew out that same day! A seven (7) man crew with three trucks and equipment attacked my yard and completed all work by 5PM!!!! Everything was done correctly and professionally. I would highly recommend Jon, Mike and their outstanding team and hire them again is a second. I actually was so pleased that I voluntarily bumped price up and paid $2000 and it was worth every penny! Thanks Alamo City Arbor Care!!! don

Jon came out for a free estimate, & gave me a fair price for the entire job. There were no surprises: the crew was efficient, and they did a good job of clean-up. I believe they even did a bit more than the required work. The trees look great. This is the second time I've used their service, and I would use them again.

John came by to provide me an estimate within a day after I called. We have one large oak in front yard and other trees over the street and driveway. In the back there are three trees, one of which is a large pecan. The crew came by a few days later and did an excellent job. UPDATE as of 8-24-15: yesterday evening a large limb on the pecan tree broke off. I called John this morning and he came by to take a look. He is having his crew come by and cut off the broken limb plus clean up a little more from the tree - ALL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST! I highly recommend John and his company - I would never consider using another company to work on my trees.

Overall a very good experience! Very punctual and affordable....I had some pruning of trees as well as removal, too. Very professional and the clean-up was perfect. Great experience and would definitely recommend them.

John and his team did a phenomenal job and other than the beauty left behind in my trees, there was no indication they were there. Everything was cleaned up very well.

I heard a loud boom and discovered a large tree limb had broken off and fallen blocking entry into my back patio. I called around and most companies were too busy to come out and help. I found Jon and he was able to come within 30 minutes. He and his crew arrived and removed the limb as well as cleaned up smaller branches on the same tree. Jon was so nice to work with and his crew worked quickly and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. I will definitely use Alamo City Arbor Care in the future.

When I first got home from my doctor's appointment, the tree service was in my back yard. I called Jon and he immediately took care of it with no cost to me.

Jon and his team are great! This is the 2nd time we called them and we were just as satisfied the 2nd time as we were the 1st time. Very responsive and professional.

What a great experience received from Alamo City Arbor Care. They are the best that I have seen in a long time. I called them on a Saturday evening and spoke to Jon explaining that my thirty foot tree had fallen In my front yard and I would like to have it removed as soon as possible. He informed me that their crew did not work on Sunday but he would try to take care of my problem after church. He found two people with two vehicles and equipment and that arrived on Sunday evening. They removed the tree, removed the stump and cleaned the area and charged me a very reasonable price. All work was completed in less than an hour. I was amazed at how quickly they worked and efficient the job was was done. I was elated and would highly recommend them. I thank them for a job well done!

I could not be more pleased with Alamo City Arbor Care. I received a free estimate in a timely manner and within two weeks of the estimate, I received a call informing me they were ready to service my yard. The crew was extremely professional, clean, and did an excellent job. The price was lower than other estimates received and the yard looks incredible. The trees that were trimmed look significantly better but are still full. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to others!

Vendor was quick with quote, priced better than other 2 companies I contacted, and scheduled the work extremely quickly. They did a great job and I will use them again.

Robert and his helper did a great job with a brush pile that they chipped and hauled away. Their truck was too big to go under our oak trees, so they dragged the limbs over to the chipper. Robert's very positive attitude was so refreshing after some surly contractors I've met! It was a pleasure to talk to him and he is surely an asset to this company. The guys worked steadily for almost 2 hours. They also did a superior job cleaning up, raking debris and blowing the sidewalk. Also, Alamo City Arbor Care happened to have a job opening the day after I called. You can't beat that!

We used Alamo City Arbor Care over a year ago at our previous residence and were so impressed with the job they did. We have since moved to a new property that's over half an acre with lots of trees and knew exactly who to call to have our trees cut and pruned! Without fail they did a fantastic job as expected and couldn't be more happy with the work they did. I was also impressed not only with the way the trees looked but the detail to the debris clean up. I will definitely use them again when needed and have referred them to family and friends.

Contacted Jon to trim all my trees on our property. Jon came out and provided the quote. We agreed on a date one week later. A-C-A-C trimmed 7 crepe Myrtles, two were blocking my satellite dish reception. They also trimmed 3 oak trees that were hanging over the roof line on the north Side of the house and 6 more oak trees on the property. 16 Trees in all. Crew of two men. It took 3 hours. These men were hard workers. They had a large truck, a industrial limb shredder / chipper, ladders, chain saws and pole saws. Cleaned up and got all the leaves and twigs. The final product looks great! You can tell the work was done by professionals. I will definitely use them again.

First company we have dealt with that follows through will all their promises. Crew is clean cut and very professional!

It was excellent work! They cut down the trees that were rotten as agreed and left the area very clean. My husband is very meticulous with very high expectations. This company made him very happy! Just this weekend he was telling his friends how this is the first company that does tree trimming and such that follows through will all their promises!! Happy husband equal a happy wife.

he drove by promptly to see the tree,gave me an estimate 2 days later and did the job the next day; did a good job trimming,dressed the cuts,cleaned up thoroughly
