He replaced icemaker and it is working.  I just think his repair cost was a little high for the work done.  $135 for new icemaker and $45 for labor.  He did guarantee his work for 3 months parts and labor.  He took no more than 20 minutes installing new icemaker.  His primary language is spanish but does understand english but difficult speaking it.  I would probably try another repairman mainly due to the price factor in the future.

Called Padron's to schedule appointment for next day. Repair man got to work quickly. He examined fridge and determined it could be one of two parts in the fridge that could be causing problem. H e replaced one small part, and explained that it would be best to start out with smaller part, as it had a great chance to fix issue and was cheaper option. He said that if fridge didn't start cooling within a 12-24 hours to call again. Fridge unfortunately didn't start working, so called back and he got back to us right away. Came back the next day and replaced yet another part of the fridge. Problem fixed, fridge back to normal. The gentleman was very honest and professional, and only charged $50 for the everything,

THE GENTLEMAN FROM PADRONS CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED AND CHARGED $15 FOR THE SERVICE CALL. HE WAS THERE FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF AND SAID WHAT I EXPECTED, THAT THE MOTOR IN MY WASHING MACHINE WAS BURNED UP. HE SAID HE WOULD GET AN ESTIMATE AND LET ME KNOW THE FOLLOWING DAY. HE CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY AND TOLD ME THE TOTAL WOULD BE $180 FOR THE MOTOR AND LABOR AND I AGREED TO GO AHEAD AND HAVE THE MACHINE REPAIRED. HE BROUGHT THE PART OUT 45 MINUTES LATER AND SOON MY WASHER WAS FIXED. I NEVER EVEN HAD TIME TO HAVE ANY LOADS OF WASH BUILD UP AS THE WASHER BROKE ONE DAY AND WAS FIXED THE NEXT. VERY PROFESSIONAL,HONEST AND REASONABLE.   

I am a landlord so when a tenant called to complain that the washer was not operational, I called Mr. Padron. I suspected that the washer was in working fine but it is one of those washers that does not make any noise so it is easy for someone to suspect it is not working or turning. I did not mention anything to Mr Padron and just asked him to check it out. When he was done inspecting the machine he called to say the machine was ok and did not need repairs. I was happy with his assessment and happy that he was honest. All I paid was for the inspection of the machine, which he had told me upfront. I will certaintly use Mr Padron in the future if the need arises.
