Texas Cleaning

They do good cleaning with descent rates. They come on a regular basis. I would use them in the future.

I prepared a list of specific areas to be cleaned and provided it to Jim, the owner, who came out to estimate the job. He estimated $192 (two people for 6 hours) to do the work. He glanced briefly at the list and handed it back, saying everything on it would be taken care of with their make-ready service. The people who came out to do the job had no idea what was required. They also came at different times, making it more difficult for us to provide access in a gated community. They did an excellent job cleaning the windows, baseboards, and door sills. But the carpets (new) needed additional work to remove hundreds of clippings which were not vacuumed. Kick plates were not cleaned. Facets and toilets were not cleaned to what I consider a reasonable "make-ready" standard by removing minor lime deposits. The workers, who were pleasant and willing workers, did not have what was necessary to do their job. Nor did they have the knowledge or supplies needed to do it at a professional level. For example, they had no vinegar and did not know that this cheap liquid can remove lime deposits. Or that residues can be cleaned with orange oil or solvents. Switches and outlets were not cleaned. Frankie, the primary person doing the cleaning, was a good worker and interested in pleasing me. He returned for a two hours the next day to remedy most of the issues. He had to move a minor surgery appointment to do so. I would hire him to do more work in a second. But I had to act as his quality control on everything. He missed a lot which was obvious and did not have the list to work from. I do not think this company offers a competent, professional cleaning service. Before I paid, Jim called and asked that I pay more because those doing the cleaning spent more hours than he estimated. I said no, that I had asked for no additional work that that on my list.

The workers showed up on time and began working immediately, which I was very pleased with. The windows were spotless, kudos to the window guy. However, that's where the praise ends. The other individual who was "there" to clean was MIA quite a bit (I was told AFTERWARDS that she was managing OTHER jobs), so I did NOT pay for her absent time. I tried to tell her what I would like done (i.e. baseboards, don't bother with vacuuming, etc) and she didn't listen and basically blew me off while I was trying to explain what we wanted. Areas that were "cleaned" were not cleaned very well (baseboards, cobwebs, and lime buildup to name a few) and my wife and I ended up cleaning up after them. They were not very prepared and ran out of supplies shortly into the job. I found broken window blinds (which I was not told about) after the job was complete. When confronted about all these issues, the management (Jim) offered excuses (I should have brought more people for example) rather than solutions.

Jim and the house-cleaner arrived on time at 8:45am. She seemed very pleasant but did not speak English and I pointed out somethings that I wanted special attention while Jim was translating as we went through the house. I had appointments that morning and I left with her starting to clean. I returned about 12:45pm and she was finishing on the porch. I asked about things, like if she has done the ceiling fans, she said she couldn't reach; she found my garbage bags but not a step stool. As I looked further, she had not moved the chair or sofa and underneath was still dirty. She did mop these, when I moved them. I contacted Jim and discovered that fans are not usually done and that furniture is not usually moved. I suppose part of the problem was that I had not asked enough questions or been specific enough as to what I wanted. I was not very satisfied and really had only 4 hours of work done. Jim did offer to send someone for another hour but I did it myself and will from now on.

Was very please to come home to a house that sparkles and they are willing to use your own products. I am very careful about some polishes out on the market and this way I can be sure that the cleaning is being done. Jim one of the owners was quite pleasant to deal with and returned my phone call right away.

Service brings and picks up the maid punctually. The service charges $11.00 per hour plus tax. The price is very reasonable since my house of 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths is complete in 5 hours, and if there is any time left, the maid asks if there is anything else she can do. She does not stop to eat lunch. The same maid cleans my house each time she comes.
