I will highly recommend using TEXAS Blue Water Filtration. We purchased our 1st system from them 10 years ago and used it without any problems. It finally needed replacing and the system was wearing out. We decided to upgrade it to their Plus water softener system and they installed it this week. This company is very reliable and give excellent customer service.

Very responsive, competitively priced. There are several other companies around that can install a similar product at the same price. What impressed me was the quality of installation all the way down to installing a proper air gap on the drain line that I had never seen properly installed before. He also pushed into the corner to make better use of the space. Attention to details, quality work.

I contacted Texas Blue Water Filtration regarding an aging system that is very hard to come by for repairs (i.e. other plumbers send their customers to him for his knowledge on the system). Jim was very polite and came out to run diagnostics and ensure that my system was in good working condition and also installed a separate part.  Jim was prompt and answered all my questions in a thorough manner.

They were great. They got the job done in about 4 hours. The cleanup was great. Jim fellows the manager came out personally and went out of his way for military and retired military.

They are close by, which is convenient for us, because in the beginning we were having some problems. We weren't able to get rid of some kind of smell that was in the water. They came out and took care of the problem. We called them and they've been very helpful as far as taking care of the little stuff. The reverse osmoses that they installed, we had problems in the beginning, not getting enough water from the little tank. But they came out really fast and they took care of the problem. We are very happy with them. Their pricing was a little steep, but nowadays everything is expensive. They are the people we have to depend on for coming out and doing maintenance. We don't have a contract, but we would use them again.

They were good but I can give them an F. The set-up was okay. They came and put it up and everything but it never ran for like 5 months. I was kind of waiting and waiting and waiting and did not know enough about it to check the members and stuff. So finally I called them. He came and it was never turned on. So I was like, "Okay, that's nice." The guy came right away when I called, he came the next day.

My son was also getting a water softener at the same time. He did the research and he found that their system was the best and their prices were pretty. They were also close to the area. So overall, I would say it was good. It was just a big, serious, over-sized, and partially my fault that I did not follow-up.

They were nice and very good. They were also professional. I watch everybody that comes out so they were pretty good.

First there was the salesman, it was one of the new home, door-to-door salesmen. But he was different, he was not pushy, he was polite and friendly. When I told him I was not ready at the time, and needed about a month, he nodded and went away. I did take his information and did research on their products. Sure enough, a month a later the same salesman returns. Just as polite and friendly. This time however, I was ready to purchase. I'd done my research both across the Internet and on this site and had decided this was the company and solution. The prices were reasonable. They came out and installed that weekend, took them about an hour. The installation guys explained what needed to done to and repeatedly asked if I had any questions. So far so good. The warranty offered is great for my household.

Spoke with multiple water softener companies, to include all-in-one versions at Home Depot.  Many companies went through the benefits of why to have one, and why they were the best...and why their system cost $3,000 to $5,000 dollars, etc.

Texas Blue Water was a no-pressure sale (although they all say that), with a professional and articulate installer.  Their price was reasonable, and they gave me all the information on the system so I could do my own research.  The system is running smoothly and I have noticed a dramatic increase in my water quality since the install.

It was great at first, a little rocky and I am hoping that they are going to be a 100% better now that they have corrected the problem. They are very diligent. If you have any problems, they'll come out any time of the day or night to fix it. Because when the water pipe broke that goes to the water softener, it was at 10 o'clock at night and they came out that night to fix it. The guy was really nice. He said that he knows I have kids and we are going to have our water back on by the morning. He also said that he was sorry.

The wife and I just bought our first home.  We know how hard the water is here in Texas and knew we wanted a water softener.  I contacted 4-5 companies in total and requested information on the units they use, pricing etc.  A couple of them came out to the home (including Jim) during framing to come up with ideas as our builder does not include a water softener loop.  It was amazing the price ranges I received from some of the companies.  I spent a lot of time on various forums and other online resources learning about the cost of the water softener units and the differences in them.  One of the companies that came out wanted to sell my a $5000 unit.  I knew that was way over priced for what the unit entailed.  When I contacted Jim he explained that he used to be in the water treatment industry so he truly understands water softeners and filters.  He was educational/customer focused first and salesman second which I appreciate.  Everything he told me was backed up by what I had researched.  Jim came out and did a great job on making the water softener look as if it was designed to go in its location all along.  That keeps the wife happy which in turn keeps me happy. :)
Jim also has one of the better warranties.  5 years parts and labor.   The gentleman that quoted me $5000 would give me the same warranty if I used him personally to come out and swap the filtersetc.  So I would have to keep paying him every 6 months to do something I could do on my own to keep his warranty going.
Jim just wants me to add salt to the system.  As long as I do that, warranty is good to go.  Jim always answered my text fairly quickly (even when he was at his kids play which I did not know about) so he really cares about his clients.
Thanks Jim!!!

The water softener is great.  The personnel were wonderful.  They were very informative.  The price was excellent.  They were not going to sell us anything that we didn't need.  They were great.
