We bought the deal but we paid more. They changed their story on price. They changed their story on install date. When they put in our granite, there were things that did not match up where the granite was not even. They tried to charge us $100 per scene to fix it. We called Sublime and talked to the owner's son. He said that he doesn't know who told me that it was going to be $100 but you don't have to pay that. It was actually him who told his contractor when he was there doing the work to charge us $100.

Sublime did a beautiful job. Greg came out and gave me an estimate, owner Sean measured for the job site, and Katie helped me pick out my materials.  I visited the showroom several times, and each time my concerns were addressed and all questions answered. Installers Chris and Peyton  arrived when they said they would, completed the job in a timely manner, and did excellent work. My countertops look amazing. David spent many hours meticulously installing the tile back splash, and I have never seen such quality tile work. All installers cleaned the work areas upon job completion. I now have what looks like a brand new kitchen and I couldn't be happier with the results. Wish I had done this years ago! Sublime really knows its stuff.

The granite seemed to be installed OK, however their deal did mention that the stone would be sealed.  It's not or something is really wrong with it.  There are plastic-like bubbles all over it and they will NOT return my email questions or phone calls!  When I called to talk to Greg (the sales person we initially talked to), i was told to hold on and gave them my name.  They came back and said he was with a customer.  He never returned my call!  This outfit is a total scam.  They don't follow up, do a poor job with the sealing and I would never recommend them!

"Your countertops were sealed the day we installed them on January 22nd. You contacted us June 8th to say there was a problem with the finish on your countertops. Greg called you back several times. Then we responded to an additional email on June 22nd to explain how you could clean them. You then responded "Just can't get it off with Simple Green cleaner or vinegar. It's like it's peeling" We explained to you that Vinegar is the number one product that can damage or ruin your countertops because of it's high acidity. We also told you that you needed to stop using it immediately. We never heard back, and then you left this review. We have worked with you from the beginning to meet your deadlines and answer all of your questions. We installed your countertops within 10 days of measuring them. You even emailed us stating that "It looks great" seven days after our completed install. You decided to call us five months later after you've mistreated your countertops, and then leave us a review like this. We have not scammed you in any way. We have completed everything that you purchased in a thorough and quick manner. We cannot guarantee your negligence. Every customer is informed that you cannot use acidic products on granite countertops, and that no sealer can prevent this damage. It is not a scam on our part that you chose to ignore this information."

Installation went  great.  Only took a couple of hours.  The only bad is that they left a bit of a mess.  Cut the granite in drive way and there was quite a bit of residue left.  Didn't take too long for me to clean it up.  The guys were professional and friendly so I didn't see it as too much of a big deal.

Rep arrived 20 minutes late, promised an email with the breakdown of what was discussed (never received) and told me that they basically break even on this (coupon?) because Angies List makes them offer it to be a provider?
I'm confused.  I thought Angie's List was "real reviews by real customers"
I don't know if I am more disappointed with Angies List or the service provider.

"Customers are given a two hour window for arrival for these appointments, and the owner, Shawn Baumler, arrived twenty minutes into the two hours. The estimate was sent to the customer on May 14th, the morning after the appointment on May 13th. A follow up voice-message was left to ensure the customer received the estimate on May 15th. No phone calls have been received from this customer to communicate that they did not receive our estimate or that they have tried to contact us since the appointment. Angie's List does not require providers to offer deals. This is something our company does completely voluntarily."

Provider arrived on time. Demo of backsplash and countertop went as planned. Provider accidentally cut an electrical wire which was noticed before the new backsplash was installed. Provider covered the repair costs without complaint. Seam in countertop was a bit too uneven as two pieces were not aligning very well. Provider came out on a Saturday to address the seam and a glue dificiency at the seam. It turned out OK but the area buffed down has a very different sheen and is therefore very visible under several lighting conditions and angles.

We had arranged for the provider to fashion a lazy Susan out of the sink cutout. Unfortunately, this request did not make it to production and the cutout was destroyed during the cutting process. Provider fashioned a lazy Susan out of a different slab but of course it does not match so the provider did not charge us.

On the whole we like our new countertops and would use the provider again.

I purchased an Angie's List deal offered by Sublime Custom Stone for 1,699.00 for 40 sq ft of granite to be installing in my kitchen.  I paid an additional $655.00 since my kitchen counter top area was more than 40 sq. ft.   I couldn't be happier with the beautiful results.  The installers were professional and friendly.  They left everything clean and neat. I highly recommend this company.

The big deal turned out pretty well.  They were on time, they did a good job, and all was good there. I was comfortable with the date they offered based on my travel. They told  me about additional charges, but we didn't decide to do them. The final product was what we were looking for, and it seemed like a good deal. The price was good for what they did.

Estimation: The costs were itemized, the additional counter space and upgrades over the "standard coupon package" were detailed.
Wait time: 1 week (between estimation, and installation date)
Installation: on schedule, and uneventful. The crew clean up work area.
Quality:  Made an best effort to match the stone patterns between cuts.  I would rather to see the "split/splice" to be away from the sink cut-out , but I am no expert.  I would like to think stone-cutter made the most logical trade-off
Costs (my installation only):  with the coupon offer, it is very reasonable, but with the added counter space (66% more the base footage)  resulted in nearly double the coupon offer.
