Disappointed. Service person walked right into our home--right through the house uninvited, pass the doggie gate and not wearing any protective shoe covers (deals with pesticides)--friendly but not professional. | |The treatment was messily applied. Overall, in affective . Realize one treatment won't be the cure, but I didn't want this experience again.

I won't purchase this Big Deal again in the future. The mosquitos were back in full force about a week after the treatment. I felt like it was a waste of my money. The company was punctual, professional, and polite. We just weren't happy with the end result.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out fine. Everything was good.

It was fine, I wasn't overly impressed but I wasn't overly disappointed either. They sprayed around outside but it was a little interesting because I bought it for mosquito treatment but then they explained that even if they were going to do it, they really wouldn't completely eliminate everything because there can be mosquitoes coming from outside of my property. It really didn't do much of anything for me. They provided the service that they said they were going to provide, it's just that right after that it was not going to be as effective as I had in mind based on the advertisement. The service didn't really worked. I probably would not use them again for that type of service.

The service was good. I wasn't there so I never got to meet them but there's no problem.

It was fine. It was good. It seemed to get better in terms of lasting a longer time than what we thought but once it rains things go away and you have mosquitoes. There was a guarantee on there to last 60 days. I questioned them about it because it's a spray and when it rains or your irrigation system comes on it dilutes everything and he said, "It's not 60 days, it's not going to last 60 days" They were prompt and they did a good job and everything and it did its trick whether or not it was 60 days. I questioned because it's just a long time with rain and irrigation system and everything. It did not last 60 days. When I asked them they didn't have the right information. I was pleased with them but Angie's List team might want to go back and look at what's really posted and what really is the truth. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The person that did it was good. The only thing bad that I would say is when I called the company to ask about the 60 days they said, "Yes, it does last through the rain and it is 60 days" They said it was oil based and that's why it works but it's not oil based. There are different laws in this state and the number that I had called was from another state and they can legally do that but in the state of Texas you can't. So the chemicals used may differ from state to state as far as regulatory use of chemicals so that's why I'm telling Angie's List team might want to check and revise how that's worded on the website. What I appreciated was the guy was really upfront. Because we do this all the time, if my husband had gone to Lowe's and picked up chemical to spray that they normally sell for yards, which we've done quite often, it's about the same price and it might have been even more. You pay a lot of money for the spray because we have large yard both front and back. So it was quick. They didn't get it on anything I didn't want it to be on like cushions and things like that. In fact we canceled it once because the wind was too high. So I felt like they did a good job and they were really upfront. He was only here about 15 min, it was bizarre.

He came and we told him that we had recently had Terminx treat the house and the yard. He asked why we had called him if we had already had a treatment. We explained that we wanted a Mosquito specific treatment. He seemed upset because he has to be careful not to overtreat with chemicals. Once we told him the date of the other service, we found that it was okay for him to spray again. We did feel that the overall tone of the conversation was a bit unprofessional.

Purchased and quot;The Big Dealand quot; for a one-time mosquito treatment. The company's representatives were friendly, provided information on other pest contol services, and answered all questions. On the day of treatment, the provider arrived on time and performed quality service.

Went awesome. Technician was punctual, very helpful and knowledgeable. Would use them again.

The deal went exactly as advertised. The company is not located in San Antonio-when you call them they are in the Northeast and have no idea about locations here.

Two attempts were made. On the first scheduled attempt, rain caused him to abort the service call. Although the technician did show up, but felt it better just to come back due to the rain.
On the second attempt the technician came early. He seemed rushed, like he needed to get in and out quickly. No real explanation or time for chit chat, just here are some papers, outside I go, spray, spray, spray and I am outta here. I went out about an hour later and found a receipt wedged in my patio door...he didn't even bother to tell me he left.

Good the service was not explained well. However it works and we use again now that we understand.

3rd trip finally got job done correctly

The Technician did not give me a load of confidence that this treatment was gonna be effective because I live in a green belt. This was to be an exterior/outside treatment for mosquitoes as advertised.He said I would be probably better off buying a store bought treatment spray. He was done with the job in ten minutes. About a couple of weeks later I still had the same issue with mosquitoes.

It was good. They came out shortly after I purchased the big deal. We did other stuff so there were additional charges. We did the flea, tick and termite deal. It's a one-year warranty. When they come out, they come out for free the next time they come back. It's an annual fee deal. He explained and took time to answer my questions. He was in and out pretty quick but it was at the end of the day.

OK. He was on and of the property in 10 minutes. Tried to sell us a contract.

Sovereign Pest Control was scheduled for an appointment at noon on August 20, 2013. It was important to me for them to be on time because I had to leave work and drive the 15 miles to my home to meet them. The service technician arrived right at noon, excellent. They were friendly and professional. We spent about 5 minutes doing paperwork and then he went right to work. I went inside to have a sandwich. By the time I finished my lunch the work was done and the he was on his way. I was able to get back to work at a reasonable time. While it has been way to hot this summer to be outside much I have noticed a distinct decline in mesquitos in my yard. Hopefully the weather will relent soon and my family and I can enjoy our yard again. I know that a onetime treatment is not a permanent solution and these pests will return soon after the weather changes but for now I ma happy to be able to water my yard without being under constant attack.

It turned out great! We didn't have mosquitoes here for weeks after they came. They said it would last 2-3 weeks and it lasted about that long. In fact, for 2 weeks after treatment we had absolutely no mosquitoes! It was nice to be able to sit out on my patio without pests. They came and did what they were supposed to do. We think we may hire them again. Scheduling the Big Deal was fine. They came the day and time they said they would.

It went well but the mosquitos were back in 2 days. However, it did rain.

I set up appointment a week and a half before visit (for first available appt). Provider was very professional through all interactions. The person who treated the yard showed up a bit early and was patient while waiting for my daughter and granddaughter to go. inside the house before treatment. The treatment seemed to be effective. Prior to service there were frequently mosquitoes in our yard, as evidenced by the buzzing and the bites. After the service it was almost non-existent and seemed to last longer than the 30 days that we were told.

It was good. He came and he was on time. I scheduled it, but then I had to reschedule because something came up. They rescheduled it for me and it worked out fine for me. He sat and talked when he was writing out the deal. He told me that they offered something where they could come out ever so often, but he then said some people like that and some people don't. He said that he understands that some people don't want to do it and was really nice. He was like a manager and said that he's the one that does this area. I liked him and I felt that he was being really honest about it and everything. He said that he saturated it real well and that hopefully it would help and it has for the amount of time that he said it would work for. He even told me the name of some stuff that we could put on the end of a water hose and spray ourselves if we needed more if they came back out or not. He seemed to have done a good job and was right on time. I wasn't even expecting him that soon. He came in looked around and said that he could do the whole backyard. I asked him about the porch and said that since I have dogs it would be better not to spray right on the porch because he didn't want their paws to get in it and carry it in. He said once it dried it would be fine, but I should just keep them out of the backyard for like an hour or two while it dried and it wouldn't hurt anything. He said that it would kill other bugs too that were in the yard, so that was a plus. The price was fine and worth it. I was really happy with it.
