When my husband and I decided to buy our first home we did our homework and prepared as much as we could. We attended a first time home buyers class offered by a neighborhood organization and learned the in’s and out’s of buying a home. We learned that we had to be smart consumers when choosing our realtor and lender to get best experience and deal when purchasing our home. We interviewed four realtors and carefully selected our lender. When interviewing realtors most were surprised that I wanted to interview them before hiring them, not Sonia, she encouraged that both my husband and I be present so she can talk to both of us and address any questions we had. After our meeting we were sure we wanted her to help us buy our first home. We wanted to take advantage of the low interest rates and were very ready to stop renting. We started house hunting in early July and we found our house in late July. Sonia showed me about 20 houses. I really appreciate that she was up front about the pros and con’s to each of the houses we visited and pointed out items that I had not noticed. I also found it very helpful that she was familiar with neighborhoods we visited and helped us learn about different parts of San Antonio. During the negotiations she kept us informed and made sure we understood what was happening. She made sure we got the best price and sealed the deal for us. Sonia assisted us with the purchase of our first home, sale of that home and purchase of our new home. During all three transactions, she was amazing! One of her best attributes is her attention to the most minute detail. When looking for homes, she can point out things that we would have never thought to look for. She is also very skilled at helping to stage your home for sale and gave great tips to help us get the most out of the sale of our house.
