Darryl very professional in helping us with our new home inspection. He pointed out a list of things we would focus on to maintain the home but as well as the major items we needed to negotiate with the seller. He was able to review the home again after repairs were complete. We were really appreciative on the insight and information provided.

Zibby showed up on time and did a great job. His cost was less than most inspectors and our realtor liked him so much she has started to recommend him.

Darryl was great! He showed up a little late, but that really wasn't a big deal. He encouraged us to follow him during the inspection so that we would understand what all the issues were. If there was something we didn't understand, he explained it. He pointed out  a lot of issues that may have become problems in the future and we chose not to purchase the home.
We will use them again for our next inspection and would highly recommend them to anyone.

He was very nice and really good. He worked out very well. He was very prompt and returned the calls that were set for the the home inspection. When we went to the home he was already onsite and had started the job. He was a person that was very comfortable to go through it with. He talked to us as he went on about what we needed to look out for, why he was checking things, and what needed to be done. He gave us a detailed report in writing and he also sent it to the builders. He was very professional and someone I would recommend to someone else to work with at anytime. My daughter and I was there and we were very comfortable. He explained it to us really well and in words that we could understand regarding all the things running into the house. We compared him to a lot of other people. He was reasonable and on par with everybody else. I thought he was a little bit more convenient because he was able to work with our timing. He was flexible. We now have a new house and we have a year to give them any other complaints, so we're planning to have him come close to the end of the year to check everything again to make sure it's all right for the builders.

Darryl inspected roof, went under house to inspect pier and beam foundation, he went up attic, checkEd all electrical and plumbing.
I knew ithe house needed repairs, but inspection revealed problems that would have put me WAY over budget with little to no return on my investment. I am very happy he inspected the house and gave me an honest and objective evaluation of my project and what it would entail.

Everything went great! Rodney showed up early and was very thorough and professional! He answered all of our questions and taught us a lot about the home we were planning on purchasing. I have used San Antonio Home Inspectors on several occassions over the past 6 years and have been very pleased with their professionalism and thoroghness. They are friendly, respectful, knowledgable too. As a real estate professional, this is one of the names I always provide to my clients when they are selecting inspection services.

Reasonable price for a home inspection. A detailed report was provided which included pictures of problem areas. Took payment via PayPal, which was very convenient.
He doesn't do pest inspection, so had to go with another company for that.

Very professional and polite manner. As a first time home buyer, everything about the house seems complicated. Darryl made sure that all my question be answered. The report is delivered promptly, with straight facts about the house.

Work with the inspector who was on on time and very observant. He did send me a detailed report including pictures, however none was sent out to actual building but had no issue forwarding the email to the builder. Wow!  This is the home inspector you want on your side.  As good as this recent builder is, Darryl still caught important repairs that needed to be done at each stage. Darryl is extremely thorough and explains everything as well as the importance of having it done correctly, that is, what could happen if it isn't fixed.  He truly keeps up with all the different building codes.  And he is more than happy for us to follow him around while he does the inspection, including asking if either or both of us wanted to go up and see the attic or get on the roof.  Each inspection includes an inspection report with photos and comments regarding what should be fixed and what to keep an eye out for in the future.  We can close on our house knowing that all is in order.  Darryl is a consummate professional who really knows his stuff.  The offrice staff is friendly and helpful too.  If you are having a house built, make sure to get it inspected (1) prior to the foundation being poured, (2) pre-drywall, and (3) final inspection.  You'll be SOOO glad you did! The Home Inspector was awesome.  I am in another state buying a home so I gave my parents permission to overlook the building process and they are quite hard to please and Darryl Clouse went above and beyond in pleasing them.  The builder of our house was there and he did not let him being their intimidate him or stray him from inspecting like he should.  Within 24 hours I have received the full inspection with pictures.  He was professional and very thorough and I will be using him for our final walk through of our new build. I just want to thank him for his time and look forward to working with him again soon.

It is pretty straight forward.  He inspected the house, arrived on time, didn't let the homeowner who wasn't very welcoming keep him from doing his job.  And he took his time and did a thorough inspection and provided a very detailed report within 24 hours.

I searched Angie's List and found top rated San Antonio Home Inspectors.I  was buying a HUD foreclosure home and I wanted a complete inspection to protect myself prior to closing. I made an appointment and Darryl Clouse showed up early and the inspection began. Darryl encouraged us to follow him during the inspection process to answer any questions we might have and to learn about the home we were purchasing. Darryl Clouse is a real professional. I would recommend Darryl to anyone needing a home inspection.

He was professional and provided a detailed report.  The only part that we were not happy with is the fact that he did not perform a roof inspection which we expected he would perform.  He recommended that we get a roofer to come and inspect the roof but based on the 10 day period we were unable to get this done and had to walk away from the contract/home.  He should disclose this prior to taking on the inspection project.  I have had prior inspections done by other companies and they have inspected the roof as part of the inspection.  Due to cost of repairing a roof, this is an important part of the inspection process.

Mr. Clouse was on time and professional.  He did a thorough job, going through each room of the home and the exterior.  He explained everything to me as he worked.  He completed the report in a timely manner.

Darryl was there on time, was courteous and very thorough . He took the time to explain things and encouraged me to actively participate. He was patient while explaining even the most basic questions for this first time buyer. The best advice was to read through the report 3 times before making the final decision. I chose not to purchase the house, it just needed too much expert help. I will be using this company again.

Excellent home inpection/pest inspection/sprinkler testing service. Tried a few other companies on Angie's list and this one was the only one that answered the phone rather than leaving a voicemail. Very professional and brought all equipment required such as ladder and testing equipment. Darryl Clouse is very patient with all of our questions while we tagged along throughout the inspection. He took lots of pictures and did not rush the job. He then sat down with us and explained all of his findings and made sure we were happy with everything before taking his leave. He pointed out quite a few things that we never even noticed and was very familiar with the current code requirements. Pricing was very reasonable since it including the pest and sprinkler inspection. The inspection was done Saturday afternoon and the reports were emailed to us on Sunday morning! We addressed many of the issues with the home owners and they agreed to make the repairs and we are going to close on our new home soon! We highly recommend this company.

BEST INSPECTION EVER:  (1) They performed the house/pool/termite inspection in ONE appointment...That alone saved me a couple hundred dollars AND additional hours/days off work.  (2) They actually WANT you to go through the house WITH them...to quote them..'please be my shadow and ask questions'...  I have bought a few homes and I have had some really good inspectors, but this was the FIRST one that asked that I go 'through the house with them'...Darryl explained alot, let me ask questions so I could learn, and was honest and knowledgeable...I know I will use them again, because after my inspection, I cancelled the contract on the house...and when I look at new houses, I use what I learned from them when I look at other homes before I even make an offer...and I already asked them to pencil me in on my next offer...

Daryl came out and completed a home inspection and did an amazing job. He was on time and projected a very business like manner. He actually got up on the the roof and looked the entire roof over for problems. He also performed a termite inspection on the property. When the inspection was complete he walked me through the entire inspection including showing me the termites he had found. When my husband arrived 30 minutes late Daryl went through the entire inspection all over again for my husband. Daryl was extremely professional and courteous throughout the entire process. I still cannot believe he personally went up on the roof to inspect it as all the other inspection companies I called stated their personnel only used binos. I would refer this company to my friends and family in a minute. I do not usually write reviews but, in this case I was very pleased with my service.
