I almost hired another small company on a referral (to save money) but they were so unprofessional and untrustworthy that I decided not to go with them at the last minute and called SA Specialties after reading "mostly" awesome reviews on Angies List. They were wonderful from the start and willing to provide me a rough estimate of the cost over the phone since I knew the tonnage of our units and the SEER rating that we wanted.  I thought the estimate was very fair so they sent Doug Nentwich out to our home that very day to check out our systems and see what needed to be done.  Doug is so friendly and cheerful that I was smiling from the start.  A great face for the company!  His quote matched the estimate.  For the price, they contracted to install 2 Lennox systems, provide a transferrable 10 year warranty on parts, labor and equipment and do the job in a day.  They actually came out 2 days later.  The crew was awesome, prompt, respectful, laid tarps down so they didn't dirty my carpet and worked hard to get the job done in the time they said they would.  (It took about 6 hours to install all the equipment.) They removed our old units and disposed of them and will file with CPS for our rebate.  
I waited to write this review for a couple days to make sure everything was working well (which it is!) and to see if they lived up to their promises.  So far, everything exceeds my high standards which allows me to make the most important claim of all.  I trust them.  This whole thing could have gone down very poorly for us and SA Specialties saved the day!!!

They were great to deal with.  I needed a complete replacement of my 5 ton unit and Alex, their sales guy was d*** good sales guy. He patiently explains everything thats going to be done, what my options are, and what their prices are.  They have a super simple good, better, best pricing sheet. I picked one, they had 0 interest financing available, and next day lead time.  So I pulled the trigger right away and the next day their team came by, were very polite, used drop clothes on floors, then did the full replacement in about 3 hours then left. The lennox system they provided works great. No complaints so far. Overall, I was really amazed how professional these guys were at this price point. This company is running like a well oiled machine.

They were excellent. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a large job and company.

They were able to install it in a couple of days.  Very professional.  The company sent in the Lennox rebate and I received $800 today.  Also, they filled out the CPS paper work for a $900 rebate and mailed it to me.  It has been credited to my CPS account.  I am very pleased with their service.

Initial installation was excellent.  Then began having intermittent problems - outside unit (compressor) would not come on. SA Specialties made numerous trips checking and trouble shooting. Finally discovered problem with my 10 year old control board that they promptly replaced. I have a very complicated zone system. SA Specialties was very responsive and made numerous trips to trouble shoot an intermittent problem and repair it! Very happy with the hard work, dedication, responsiveness these guys performed!

We scheduled to have 2 units for annual/checkup service. One unit was a warranty service the company provides on new units, the other is an older unit. Upon arrival the service tech stated he only had orders for one unit. He called the office and they told him the schedule was too tight to service the other unit. 
BTW, when we placed the order the person scheduling said she would need to push our servicing out for over a week because they were so busy with non-working unit calls. We said that would be fine as this is just an annual service.
The office called me to inform me know that they would need to reschedule to have the other unit serviced as the tech had other service calls today. They office gal transferred me to Frank, the general manager. Frank stated he did not know who's fault it was that only one unit got on the order (really, after we had to wait longer for the service call because of two units...). Also, they do not record any calls. 
Frank apologized and said he would have to reschedule us. I asked what can you do for me, such as a discount, as I have to take off work again for the 4 hour service window. Frank replied with nothing. He was not willing to make any concession.
I told him I would find a different company, which responded that's fine, and pretty much hung up.
I would not use this company and if you do, call back to confirm everything. This is really unfortunate that this is how they treat their customers.

Had several quotes for replacing two old AC units and having some ducting issues repaired in the attic. SA Specialties was not the cheapest bid, but their units were far more energy efficient and therefore qualified for a CPS rebate and will (hopefully) save me more electricity. Also, their warranty was far and above any of the other companies I contacted.  The salesman was very thorough and even took pictures to show the problem areas; however, he was not pushy or annoying. They had a great 3-year no interest plan to help relieve some of the pain of buying new units. The workers were on time and did an excellent job and were neat as they performed their work and were really quick having both units replaced and all work completed in 8 hours. The salesman followed up afterwards to ensure we were happy and the ladies in the office are awesome as well and filled out all the paperwork required for the CPS rebate. I know when it comes to AC unit manufacturers there aren't a lot of differences, but the primary difference is in the installer so would highly recommend SA Specialties.

.They are the one I use and they are trust worthy. They gave me options for different units and prices. There was maintenance that was required every 8 or 9 months for the first two years and they have been proactive in calling me and getting it done without me having to hunt them down for everything. So far everything they said they will do they have done. They had to run an emergency line. Their prices are extremely good in comparison to the other company I used.

The company is very good and have great follow thru with their warranties.

They came almost immediately. Identified the problem and fixed it quickly. Great service and great prices.

Simply in a word, the SA team was IMPRESSIVE! From Frank the sales person, to Brandon who  impressed me with the instructions he  provided, to the office staff helping with the CPS rebate. I can't thank them enough. They arrived on time, the installation team was professional and everyone knew their job. The did a nice job of transitioning from my old system to the new system. The cleaned up everything before they left. They made sure to protect the floors, etc. while they were working. Simply I highly recommend SA Specialties.
