Called SA Specialties on Thursday.
They were able to come out on the same day and give me a call 30 minutes before arrival.
They scheduled me an appointment for installation the next day!
Again, another call before arrival.
SAS was quick, professional, efficient, friendly and helpful.
Completed all the paperwork and followed up with a call.
SAS will be coming back for the two maintenance services but I will still use them again!

I am a DIYer so did detailed research. Got costs of 9-12k from high rated companies. All refused to reuse my 12 yr old plenum. Added cost is approx 3.5k. SA was my last quote. They said could easily reuse plenum. Gave discount as paid cash. Install took 6 hrs and it was 100 degrees out. Very professional service. Extremely happy no issues to date

The installation went fine but once the check for the service hit their hand the customer service stopped. After the unit was installed I asked the guy who installed it about my CPS rebate and he told me to call the office. I called the same day and spoke to Carolyn and she stated she would need to look at the work order and call me back in 30 min. Never happened. I then called the next day and inquired about the CPS rebate and was transferred to Rosie. I left a message for Rosie twice and never received a call back. I am 63 years old and the rebate would really help since I had to pay out all the money for a new unit but can't get anyone in this company to CALL me back much less help me.

It was perfect! The technician, Roy, could not have been nicer or more professional. At first, he thought there might be a slight leak in the PVC pipe around the inside unit because he noticed some moisture, but he wiped it, left it to dry, and went out to check the outside unit. At that point, he had told me that he would be having to repair that pipe. The outside unit checked out fine (Yeah, didn't need any Freon this time!), and when we went in to look at the inside unit it was all dry. So Roy decided that it was just condensation on the pipe. He also said that we did not need a new filter. While here, Roy showed me how to clean the outside unit every few months, and then how to clean the drain plug on the inside unit monthly. He passed up several chances to make money on this visit: he could have charged me for a new filter, he could have done an unnecessary repair to the inside PVC pipe, and he could have told me that he needed to add Freon as it had to have it last time. I feel very good about this visit, and will continue to schedule my maintenance visits with SA Specialties! There was no charge for this visit, but it won't let me fill that in the cost section below.

A friend of mine recommended this company so I decided to go with them. On the day the air conditioning unit was installed hours later the tech had to come out again. The first tech put the fan in backwards and the second tech had to correct it. He didn't come out to my until 9:30 pm and stayed until 1:00 pm. This was a terrible inconvenience and I had to go to work the next day. Then the temp would not go down past 76 degrees so another tech came out. What a mess!!! Apparently they didn't put enough freon. Then the 4th tech came out to adjust the settings. Can you imagine....a brand new unit and it took them 4 times to come out! I never received an apology, gift card or even a call from the owner. Do your homework and run from this company. There are other companies out there who want repeat business and provide exceptional service. This company is all about quick turnaround and low quality service.

THE PRICE ADVERTISED BEATS ALL OTHER QUOTES IN THE CITY BUT I LOST A LOT OF MY TIME TRYING TO GET ISSUES RESOLVED I WAS GLAD TO PAY THAT DIFFERENCE SO AS NOT TO DEAL THE APATHETIC MANAGER. I CALLED ON A MONDAY TO HAVE THEM EVALUATE OUR REPLACEMENT UNIT. ROBERT, THE SALES ASSOCIATE, CAME TUESDAY, DID AN INSPECTION, ITEMIZED REPAIRS AND GAVE A APPROPRIATE TOTAL. SCHEDULED THE INSTALLATION FOR THURSDAY. REALIZE THAT THE UNIT WAS NOT WORKING AND THE HOUSE WITH 95 DEGREES MOST OF THE TIME. UNCOMFORTABLE BUT WE WERE WILLING TO WAIT FOR THE SAVINGS. THURSDAY, THE INSTALLERS CAME IN AND SAID THE THE ACCESS TO THE ATTIC WOULD NOT PASS CODE AND NEEDED TO INSTALL A LADDER. SO THE MANAGER TOLD THEM NOT TO INSTALL AND GAVE ME REFERRAL TO GET THAT LADDER PUT IN. I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD INSTALL WHEN IT WAS DONE. $350, WITH SOME BOARDS NAILED TO THE WALL, WHICH WOULD PASS CODE, I CALLED TO INFORM THEM IT WAS DONE. "SORRY WE ARE TOO BOOKED TO GET TO YOU OTHER CASES HAVE PRIORITY". WE WERE SICK WITH THE INTENSE HEAT AND CALLED AGAIN ON FRIDAY AND A TECH TO SENT OUT TO "HAVE THE UNIT LAST UNTIL MONDAY". THAT "FIX" LASTED ONE HOUR. WE COULD NOT WAIT UNTIL MONDAY. CONSIDERING THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS SAME MANAGEMENT PEOPLE IF WE HAD PROBLEMS ALONG THE WAY, I FELT WE COULD NOT RELY ON THEM.
