The owner, Raul, showed up as promised with his paint crew and did a good job painting the remaining interior walls. 2 story entry way, 12' ceiling and walls, and many other areas. I'm a detailed person so I appreciated their attention to details. Even down to the final day where I was pointing out some areas to fix, his crew remained professional and did a great job.
One area that dropped my quality rating was clean-up. I felt the clean-up of my floors, bathrooms, and trim (not painted) could have been better. I had pointed out a lot of areas for clean-up, but those areas were not addressed on the last day. However, all touch-ups were addressed the final day. Keep it in perspective, he was there to paint walls and the walls look great.
Ruiz Painting provides a top quality service at a reasonable price. Raul is a straight shooter and will be honest with you.
UPDATE:
I lowered their overall rating to B and their quality rating to C.
As I've walked around my house over the past 1-1/2 months I've noticed a number of areas of paint splatter and paint where it shouldn't be.
? Can light trims have spots where the roller hit them.
? A lot of paint splatter on trim and windows
? Garage sink, wall, and floor have drywall mud still all over (they did some texturing of a wall)
? Edges around shower tile is wavy with paint on the tile in many places.
