Ricondo Lawn Service

At first Mr. Ricondo did a great job, but as the summer came, along with the draught, he kept coming even though there was nothing to do. After discussing other options with him it appeared that the best thing was to have him come just once a month. Of course for more money than the three times he was originally scheduled.
The problem began when we were in his "schedule" on a certain day, and not "when needed". As the grass was still not growing all his crew did was blow the leaves and debris from our patio area. The amount of time to do that was easily half as much then when his crew had to mow as well.
The final straw was when he cleared our patio of leaves the day before a well known storm system was to hit the area. Hence within 8 hours the patio was full of leaves again.
When I called to explain that I felt it was a waste of his crews time and my money to clear the patio shortly before a major storm he became belligerent and claimed that he was not a "weather man". He also blamed the leaves were from my neighbors tree and that what was causing the problem. I am not sure, but I think he was trying to get me to pick a fight with my neighbor for some reason. When trying to point out to him that he might consider timing his visits to coincide with obvious weather events, he became irate and asked me if I was "God" since I knew what the weather was going to be the next day. He also took a few shots at my "wife" whom he said he felt sorry for. A personal touch.
He finally said he didn't want my stinking money, which I plan on taking him up on.
Mr. Ricondo is very amusing and good at insulting customers, but I am afraid if I am to pay for lawn "protection" plan I would prefer someone who would be kind enough to include more services to substitute for what was now not having to be done, like mowing the grass.
Avoid this company at all costs.
