Technician showed up on appointed day and at appointed time. He failed to caulk around frame of double French doors. I politely pointed this ommission out to him. In a very condescending voice, he stated that he could not seal the French doors because that would seal them shut (yes, he actually said that). He said a few other rude things to me and finished the job in terms of my windows and other door frames. After he left, I called the owner to report what happened and that the job was not completed. The owner came to my house to finish the job by sealing the wood frame around the French doors. The owner was polite and apologized for his employee. I did not give higher ratings because of the aggravation factor and because my feelings got hurt. As an aside, I am older and disabled. The technician stood by and watched me struggle to move some patio furniture out of the way for him. While it was certainly not his job to assist me, I found it surprising that he did not offer. The furniture was not heavy, it was just hard for me to move because of my disabilities. He would certainly not have risked injury by helping me.

I purchased a $75 home energy screening from them and heard back from them by email that due to the overwhelming response to their offer it would take some time to perform the service. I never heard back from them. I left one message and heard nothing, so I wrote it off as a $75 mistake.

They had to cancel several times. It seemed that they were booked up and it was hard to make an appointment. When they finally did get to my house it seemed like it took forever from the first point of contact. They treated me alright but just dissapointed it took forever to get the job done.

I had Rhino repair some attic ducts, blow in insulation and cover attic circulation openings with vents. Duct repair OK at best. Insulation saves some money. Had to call several times to get vents done. Did not process/prepare rebate forms as promised. I lost several hundred as a result.

It went really quickly, but I was disappointed with what they did. I thought I was going to get caulking around all my windows and new weather stripping around the outside doors. While he did some caulking, and he replaced the weatherstripping around the garage door, he didn't do it around the main front door. When I asked why, he said it was better to leave what I had, because to replace it might cause more problems. I just don't see what he did as being $199 worth of time/product. This was surprising for me, because I really liked what they did in my attic with the insulation and radiant barrier.

Owner & workmen came out on time for our appointment & got right to work. They pointed out & fixed a couple of minor details to improve sealing around doors. When I'd bought the house 4 years ago, the inspection recommended more insulation. In talking to the Rhino friends, we worked out a deal for adding insulation & a radiant barrier. In addition, the workman showed me that the heat turbine/fan was dead. He replaced it for fan cost & work time ($150), which was reasonable. Throughout the summer, the house used much less energy for air conditioning & I've noticed virtually no air leakage in the winter around the old windows! Everything was explained to me thoroughly. The workmen were very professional, came to the house & got the job done! I highly recommend Rhino Energy!

Installers came on appointed day. Worker were courteous and professional. Performed labor as designated. I am still waiting to receive the information on the fans and the warranties so I can record my purchase with the company who manufactures the product. I have asked for this information several times from the owner of Rhino Solutions.

Overall, the experience went well. The process went in two parts--first, the inspector came out to determine if a fan could be installed, and about 10 days later the tech came out to install the fan. During the initial evaluation, the inspector evaluated the attic layout, and also checked out the insulation. Once he determined that we had a good setup for an attic fan, we made arrangements for the tech to come out and install the fan. That appointment took about 30 minutes. About 10 days later, the tech came out to install the fan itself. That process went very smoothly and took less than 40 minutes. The tech explained the placement of the solar panels and operation of the fan, and took me up into the attic once it was installed to show it working. Both the initial inspector and the tech were very professional, and both showed up within 5 minutes of the appointment time, which was impressive. My only issue was in the scheduling of the appointments themselves. The first appointment had to be rescheduled due to issues from Hurricane Isaac, which is understandable. For the second appointment, there was a miscommunication between me and the company about the exact date of the install, which led to my waiting at home for a tech who wasn't scheduled. In the future, I'll make sure call and double check appointment times the day before.

This was one of the Big Deals periodically offered. It sounded better than it was for the price. It was primarily just applying caulking around windows. They did all windows outside, but just did a cursory look inside until I led them from window to window to find areas that needed caulking. Really did nothing with the doors.

I interviewed a few other insulation contractors and went with Rhino for several reasons. Elliott was very professional and timely. After inspecting my attic he said "I would love to sell you an attic fan , but you don't need one", and explained why. I was impressed by that honesty, especially since others had included a fan in their assessment. He was straight forward but very personable. He explained in detail what they would do and the cost of each. They took down everything from the attic, allowed me a few days to sort through it and came back to replace the remaining items. So now it is very nice and organized. Elliott applied the Angies list and senior dicounts, filled out the CPS paperwork, told me about the Federal tax credit. I referred him to my neighbor who had her attic done also and I got a referral fee for that. With all the credits and discounts the job was VERY affordable. I would highly recommend Rhino and would use them again if need be.

I may have misunderstood what I was purchasing, but I thought it included window inspection. If the windows were inspected, it was only from the outside. I have a known window leak of unknown origin and I was hoping for a informed identification of the problem. However, no problems were found in the attic or windows. In fairness, I did not mention the problem to the inspector.

They were fast, efficient, and professional. They also cleaned out all the junk in the attic of my parents house for a small extra fee. It has been about a year since I purchased this product/service. I am happy with it, and it seems to have improved the cooling/heating efficiency by at least 10-15%. As my utilities bills have gone down since installing these products. And I have a much cleaner attic!

I have no complaints on it. They were on time and did their job well. It seems to reduce my energy bill by 15-20 dollars in the summer.

Rhino was very professional. The initial consultation was friendly and without any high-pressure sales tactics.The installation appointment was timely and they showed up on time. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They filled out the CPS Energy refund paperwork for me. I would highly recommend. Note: Amount I spent does not take into account the CPS Energy refund.

We contacted Rhino and a couple of other companies for estimates. Our attic insulation we felt was not optimal (perhaps up to code but really not sufficient). Forrest was the only one who responded and he came out and had a lot of great ideas. I thought we would need some spray on solar protection for the roof, but he said what we had was sufficient and his product probably wouldn't work anyway. So he saved me $4000 or so right there. He easily could have tried to sell me that. He went over and above what we thought we needed and had a lot of great ideas. Based on that and the expected cost, we didn't even try to get other estimates. And they gave me an Angie's list discount too. On the day of service, the team that came out was totally professional, arriving on time and getting done even a little earlier than was suggested. Now the doors don't leak air. We shall see how our energy bills change. I was very impressed and would have this outfit come out again in a heartbeat if I needed services that they offer. Good price, great service, very knowledgeable. They get an A+ from me!

First time he came he didn't have a ladder long enough to reach the peak. Took a week for them to come back.

This project went very fast. Forrest was very helpful and professional and moved quickly giving an estimate and performing the work. I think the value is there considering that he also filed all CPS paperwork and I received a rebate (price above reflects that rebate). The only issues I had with the work was the rerouting of the dryer vent. It just terminated in the attic and I needed it rerouted completely out of the attic. They just extended this and pointed it at the ridge vent. I never had a chance to regroup with Rhino and get this adjusted, but this was my issue. Forrest was helpful and volunteered to do this, but time has not worked out. The B rating for this is due to the original work on that. I also had to go into the attic to do other work recently and found that it is nearly impossible through the hatches because the insulation is not cleared in the hatch areas. It really should be clear. I am otherwise very happy with this contractor

very pain-free- came in did what was promised and left. Cleaned up everything.
