REAL GRANITE

Their excuse was that we badgered their employees, and discriminated against them. The employee that came to my home did not speak English, despite having coordinated with the office beforehand to only send English speaking individuals. They were entirely not willing to help us, and left us without further options.

I didn't know how to go about having new countertops fabricated for my kitchen, even though I have years of experience in the design industry I have never done it for MYSELF. I went to a granite yard to see what I actually liked. The gal there gave me a fabricator list (Alamo was one of them) and I spoke w/ 3 fabricators before going w/Alamo granite. Their price was reasonable because they had a decent selection in their own yard. I chose New Venetian Gold, which was "running" much more beautifully than the usual look. The installation is the only part I question. They used regular Liquid Nail instead of one made for adhering stone and granite. Also, they left several small chunks of granite in my yard, they did not pick up after themselves. They also left the cut-out from my cooktop in my back yard without asking me what I wanted to do without it. I would have probably asked them to take it with them, because I have no use for it.

Real Granite showed up on time. My countertops look beautiful and they are easy to clean. They really added value to my home. I like that they had a showroom so I could pick the style and color that I wanted. I was really impressed with their customer service and the professionalism of their employees.
