Quest Plumbing

Matt and Wade provided services in response to a minor plumbing issue in which the hot water valve to my washer had been rusted completely and could not remove the pre-existing line to the previous owner's washer. They called me ahead of time to let me know they were on the way and then arrived and quickly assessed and repaired the problem. But what was more impressive was their willingness to answer some (unrelated to the job) plumbing related questions about our new home, tested and assessed our not-correctly functioning water softener, and helped us plan our next project. The price was very reasonable for their work and time at our home. We look forward to working with them in the future as we continue making improvements to our home.

My disposal was leaking and I called them on 6/5. They gave me an estimate over the phone and even though they were booked for the day they came out within an hour! I was very grateful that they were able to squeeze me in. Not only did they come out same day they were very polite and professional and fixed my disposal quickly. Thanks so much. Will use again.

This was the second time we used Quest Plumbing. I first encountered Quest while driving to a big-box store in search of DYI advice for a leaking toilet in our previous home. I saw their truck in our neighborhood and stopped on the off-chance they could help. The owner had just stepped into the back for supplies, and I'm sure he was startled when I appeared. I described my problem and asked if he had any time after his current appointment. He didn't, but explained the necessary repair in detail, unboxed the replacement part to demonstrate what I needed to do, and then handed me the replacement part WITHOUT CHARGE. Obviously, there was no question who we would call when we next needed a plumber. I'm so glad Quest was there to repair the "wobbly" toilet in our new home, because what looked like a straightforward repair turned out to be very complicated because of a substandard and nonconvntional flange that had been installed previously. It was a time-consuming repair that required not only an extremely knowledgeable contractor, but a creative one. We couldn't be more satisfied.

I contacted Qwest after reading many positive reviews on Angie's List and they didn't disappoint. I talked to Matt on the phone and he told me when he could be there to do the repairs. He was on time and he finished the job in a timely manner. He was very professional in appearance and he was very cordial. I would not hesitate to call on Matt again to have any other plumbing done in my home.

I called Matt at 10am and he got a plumber out that afternoon and they showed up early. Instead of a 4 hour window it was a 2 hour window. Since the repair took less than an hour, I was only charged for part of an hour and parts. I was able to pay over the phone with a credit card. Overall a very good experience.

I have used Quest Plumbing several times over the last two years and have always found Matt Zimmerman to be a conscientious, reliable plumber. I think what sets Matt apart from the average plumber is his eye for detail and the careful way that he works. There's nothing sloppy about what he does. Whatever he has fixed for me has always been done right. I tell folks that everyone needs to know a good plumber and a good banker, and Matt is definitely a good plumber. On this particular job, he worked slowly and carefully, and was able to clear a line that had frustrated other plumbers.

Matt was on time, very professional, sharp, and accomplished the job very quickly. The jobs weren't incredibly complex, but he also took the time to explain the work to me, and made sure I was an informed consumer. I know I won't have any concerns as long as I have Matt working on our plumbing.

Based on the Angie's List reviews, I called and got hold of a person right away. Unfortunately, I was told they were short on staff and had no availability until the following week at the earliest. This may be a great plumbing company, but not the folks to call if you need someone on short notice.

Quest told me when bidding that they did not do drywall or tile work. In order to access the Roman tub a hole would have to be cut in the wall of the adjacent closet. The shower valve would require removal of tile and the material on which the tile was mounted. I felt that I could handle the drywall and tile work that would be needed after the fixtures were installed. The job proceeded with only some hitches until they started removing tile from the shower wall. These hitches included a box that I had received from Delta that was mismarked. Rather than delaying the job until I could get a new valve, I returned the one I had to Loews for credit and Quest got one from another supplier. When Quest started removing tile from the shower wall, they found that the old valve had been leaking and the 2x4s had rotted and would have to be replaced. This meant that I would need a carpenter to replace the 2x4s and then install the surface onto which the tile would be mounted. Since everything else had been installed and Quest could do nothing until the wall was repaired, Quest and I agreed to buckle things up. The plan was for them to come back after the wall was repaired and install the shower valve. The individual who repaired the wall and mounted the tile was able to install the valve, so it wasn?t necessary for Quest to return.

I got a response the first time I called Quest. I did not have to play phone tag. Matt was on time and very professional. He showed up early and was done within 20-30 minutes. He offered advice on how to deal with the clogged drain in the future. When they left, the work area was clean. I will definitely use Quest in the future.

Owner was quick in responding and very professional. Owner lacked a part, but left and returned promptly to fix the problem- despite afternoon traffic. Owner stated that he still had a little time left that I had paid for and offered to use this time to fix any other problems if I was interested. I agreed and owner fixed a small problem with master toilet. Both problems were fixed quickly and within a very reasonable price. Overall, I was very happy with the services from this company and would recommend them to someone else.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Matt came out to do repair work that had been recommended by a home inspector. Matt saved us tons of money by knowing which items were truly code violations and which recommendations did not need to be done after all. In short, Matt did not make unnecessary repairs, though it would have been easy for him to do so. An honest plumber--awesome! For the work that was needed, Matt and his assistant worked quickly and efficiently. The quality of their repairs was good, and I also appreciated Matt's willingness to answer questions and keep me in the loop. His professionalism was outstanding, as was the value for the money.

I chose Quest Plumbing based on the reviews I found on Angies List. Trust the reviews! I placed a call to Quest Plumbing and left a message requesting service. Within 30 minutes of calling, Mark Zimmerman returned my call and we set up an appointment for the next day. Mark and his employee arrived during the time frame he gave me and immediately found the problem (blocked drain from under the house leaking into our garage) and had the drain unblocked and sealed in no time. We have had NO PROBLEMS whatsoever since he did the work. Upon arriving, Mark introduced himself and his employee and set to work repairing the leak. He answered all of our questions and upon completion of the job, he assured us that if there were any additional problems, he'd be back to correct them. His confidence in his work is well deserved because he knows what he's doing and he quietly, quickly goes about the job, cleaning up any mess made as a result of his work. This company is EXCELLENT and you will be glad that you used them for any of your plumbing needs.

I called a bunch of other plumbers and Quest Plumbing was 50% lower than the next lowest estimate. Matt was very prompt, professional, friendly and good. My house was older and I was informed that my entire gas system by law had to be inspected. This inspection was included in the estimate. Matt did find that my water heater's inlet gas valve was no longer to code. He replaced for an extremely low price. Everything was done efficiently. I am very pleased with what was done and how it was done. Should I need a plumber in the future I will most certainly use Quest.

Matt was very quick to answer the phone and/or return calls. He was very prompt, courteous, and overall easy to deal with. He was the second of 2 quotes I got for this job. He made recommendations about the installation that earned my trust, including running the line from the main rather than tapping off from a smaller line above the kitchen. I was told that tapping the other line may restrict the appliances on the line from receiving the proper amount of gas flow during peak use. The other company was around the same price, yet did not make the same recommendation. A few weeks later, everything is great in the house and I definitely know who to call for future plumbing needs.

I am completely satisfied. Matt did a great job and i will hire him again. I understand that this work can take longer than expected when you get on site and find out what is involved.

They were very thorough and worked well with the electrician team. They have been by several times since to check on things. We were pleased enough that we recommended them to my in-laws who had recently moved to the area. We will continue to work with them for all of our plumbing needs.

Great! Scott and his assistant were professional, came out on Sunday, fixed the problem annd got my water running again.

He was very nice, arrived promptly and seemed to take his time. The problem was that he didn't check to see if the water was leaking thru the shower door, which turned out to be the actual problem that I finally figured out several days later. I ended up buying a new water diverter which I applied to the inside of the shower door and the problem was finally solved. I'm glad he ruled out water leaking into the wall, but it turned out to be a very expensive tube of chalk shen that wasn't even the problem. He should have turned the water on and pointed it at the shower door and the problem was very obvious. I am dissapointed that I had to figure this out, even after paying a professional.

Very pleased. Matt came when he said he would, gave me a couple of options, allowed me to make up my mind, performed the services requested in a punctual, cost-efficient way, and cleaned up. No complaints.
