As for the price this was a pre paid offer that Angie's list promotes and sets up and they take a percentage of the sale, it would be about 10% less going direct through our company. "Our customer here pre purchased the $1199 gutter deal which includes 100' LF of free leaf guard, Upon measuring his home he has 150 LF of gutters so he would have needed an additional 50 LF to install ALL of the gutters with leaf guard. Wich WOULD have been an additional $112.50 had we not waived the steep charge in lieu of the leaf guard. The customers home is built on a dramatic slope and is a typical home site at the front however at the back of the home it is almost 40' high. Andrew explained to the homeowner it would be an additional $100 for the height in the rear. He made it very clear he was not paying another dollar than what the deal covers, So we negotiated the leaf guard. He agreed not to install the 100' of leaf guard that came with the deal in lieu of the $100 steep charge. So there were NO overages from the deal. He told Andrew that if we waive the charges he will write us a favorable review and if we do not he will NOT write us a favorable review. He was threatening us with reviews before any work had even been started!! The moneys were waived and He signed our agreement and we went on our way. Monday our installers installed his gutters and he was asking about the leaf guard. Andrew called him and went over everything they talked about again and re sent the contract they had signed and the customer NOW wants us to install ALL 150' of the leaf guard at no cost. It was explained to him that this can not be done and we agreed to waive the steep charge in lieu of the leaf guard. If his home was not 40' high in the rear this would have not been an issue. The gutters are installed as per our written agreement and anything further will have to be at an additional charge. We are sorry for your confusion this may have caused"
