Precision Lawn & Tree

After all was said and done, we came to an agreement and the work was great.

I looked up the deal on Angie's list. On Oct. 8th with a promise of a call back on or before Oct. 10th I had to prepay $900.00 for the service. I didn't hear from the provider on Oct. 10th. I called Precision Lawn and Tree Service three times. I didn't receive any response from the 3 voice mails. I had to go with another provider who came out the same day to give me an estimate.

We had a little bit of a delay, partly because of weather and partly because of me. They came and did a superb job at taking down a tree that was hanging over my pool. They did not let any branches or leaves land on the pool deck. They were so careful and precise as they cut each branch. They thought it through so that it would not drop and damage the pool deck. It was very tedious and they were very careful. It was a hard project, because they were working around the sprinkler system, some electrical wires that were in the ground and a lot of things that were making it more challenging. They were very professional and very thorough. They were a little upset, because I wanted them to leave some leaves where I am trying to collect some leaves for mulch, because they felt like it was messy and they were uncomfortable in leaving it there. I finally talked them into it. So, just the fact that it was bothering them, made me feel good about their thoroughness and the willingness to clean up after themselves. I cleaned the pool as they were finishing up and they said that they would do that. I told them that I had other things that I would rather have them work on in the time that we had left. We all got along very well, it was a really good experience and I was very impressed. I would definitely use them again.

The company did a really fine job. I considered it to be a very reasonable price too. We received more than 12 person-hours of work pruning our tall trees and big bushes. Communication was great - the work had to be rescheduled once do to rain, but Sherman called and let me know exactly what was going on. Directions were followed exactly - and the yard was cleaned up great after the work was done.

I'm very happy with this service. Great to deal with and great with getting back to voicemails.

Sherman is personable and easy to communicate with about the work needed. His crew is very responsible, cleaned up all areas, and had me check work to see that I was satisfied. Very satisfactory project, and ended up hiring crew for regular yard work.

It went well. He was very knowledgable, prompt and informative. I will use him in the fall.

The work they did was fine. I don’t feel that I got the advertised work though. The advertised work was three men for eight hours. They were only three men here for about two hours. Then one of them left and the other two stayed. I don’t feel like I got all the work done that I should have got done. With regard to responsiveness, they called and they showed up on time. Their punctuality was good.

Sherman and his team did an outstanding job. They thinned out my trees in the front yard, thinned out the bushes and trimmed them and did the same in the back yard to cut back branches that approached the house and the fence. They cleaned up all the trimming debris and raked and blew the yard so it was spotless. Great job, would most definitely recommend Sherman and his team. Bob

Unlike other companies, this company sends the same crew every week. They are polite and knowledgeable and always arrive in a timely manner. I had contacted other lawn services, but a few didn't even call back and one company told me they wouldn't do the job as I requested. Sherman from Precision Lawn and Tree called me the same day and then came right over to discuss my yard. He was reasonable in his pricing for basic services as well as major leaf clearing. Precision has been working in my yard for several weeks and I am quite pleased and hope to have them on a very regular basis.

Must be patient on call backs. Due to weather the job took an extra half day, but that is not their fault. Crew was very professional and cleaned up nicely. They were careful with ensuring gates were closed (I have dogs) which is much appreciated. I have also hired them for lawn service but that service has not started yet.

I found Precision Lawn and Tree Service on Angie's List and gave them a call. Sherman came out and gave us an estimate on the trees on our property. The trees had been badly neglected for many years so there was quite a bit that needed done. He told us what the cost would be and he said he would call to let us know when they had an opening. Got a call a couple of days later and was told they would be out the next morning. The crew showed up later than expected but they got right to work. They stayed busy all day long and did exactly what we wanted done. I was very pleased with they way they cleaned up after themselves, sweeping, raking and they were able to haul off most of the debris. There was some wood left behind due to the fact that their trailer was packed full and adding any more would not have been wise. The crew was very polite and took care of what ever I wanted done. I would recommend Precision Lawn and Tree Service to others who need work done and I will definitely be calling them again. Thanks so much to Sherman and his crew!

Trimming went super well--thoroughly satisfied and the clean up and haul away of all debris was totally accomplish. Very pleased.l

We called Sherman Johnson of Precision Lawn Service to take advantage of his coupon on Angie's list. We thought maybe there would be hidden charges. Not so. Some of the other companies added on haul away charges, so be careful and ask. Sherman came out right away and went over the long list of things we wanted done and offered advice on what needed to be done in order of importance. We knew we had way more work than what the 4 hour coupon allowed, but he assured us he would work with us if it took a little longer to finish everything. I can't say enough about his crew. They were experienced and professional. I was very pleased to see them using safety harnesses and also ropes to keep the cut limbs from damaging plants or structures. They even gave some extra attention to an old oak that had a big hole in it and were meticulous about sealing every cut on the oaks.. Everything was cleaned up as they worked and they even cut the tree up into firewood logs for our neighbor. All in all they were there 6 hours and we paid an extra $150.00, which we felt was fair. We were very comfortable with them and will definitely be using Precision Lawn Service for any future work we need. I would definitely recommend them. .

Yard had been neglected for a couple years and trees and bushes were sad. An old Oak had a cancer that was irreversible and the Ash was out of control, nearly on the ground on lower limbs. Some crepe myrtles were way too tall and in the power lines. Early rain caused some delays as part of his crew didn't want to play but when the ones who wanted to work showed up, it went well. I recommend staying out there with them when they are all working to ensure you get exactly what you want. Otherwise, give them a call.

Sherman arrived promptly at our scheduled time, did a walk-around and provided a fair estimate. He and his team arrived on time 3 days later and did a great job manicuring, sealing and treating our older oaks, cutting back our crape myrtles and cleaning up the yard afterwards. We'll definitely use them again next time.

After seeing a special on Angies List, I called the owner and requested a quote on trees that needed to be removed. He gave a solid quote and told us that he would contact us after the New Year. He did. The work was scheduled for that week. Workers were courteous and non-obtrusive. Work area was left neat. No damage was done to fencing or other plants. I recommend Precision Lawn and Tree to anyone who needs tree work done and is expecting a quality product.

Call never returned; no work done.

I needed grass cut and they provided that service the next day. I wanted the grass cut shorter but since it was the first time, they wanted to make sure it did not look "scalped". I was happy to have it cut so promptly but wanted it much shorter as it grew fast needing another cut within a few days. Grass was about 5 inches, laying down somewhat and I thought , needed a good short cutting. All in all I was happy with promptness and professionalism.

WOW! where do I begin??? My total experience with this Company/Crew/Team was exceptional they have gone way out of there way to complete this job & to make sure I was happy. Each crew member I spoke with was polite & respectful of me and my property. Folks this guy does not kid around when he says he will get it done and all cleaned up he does exactly that. My overall experience with them went pretty good since they did exactly what I needed them to do. Their pricing was fair. They were good with coming out on time and cleaning up after themselves.

Sherman Johnson and his crew are true professionals! We arranged for him to provide recurring lawn maintenance. We were so impressed with his professionalism, we arranged for him to trim/clean up the hedges and bushes in the front yard. He is punctual. His prices are reasonable. We appreciate his service!

.Arrived with a full crew and well-prepared with all necessary tools and materials. Listened to the vision that I had and more than completed that vision. During the landscaping Jason's crew would have suggestions and he would listen to them and we incorporated their ideas into the design. Each member of his crew was experienced and knowledgeable in their areas. I was so pleased that I have hired them for continued flagstone paving work. My neighbors noticed the work being done and also came by to get estimates for work on their yards.

We had to have two trees cut down urgently with the stumps removed. One tree in particular was extremely tall with an enormous trunk. The crew did a fabulous job with both trees. They were considerate, efficient and left the yard in perfect condition. Precision Lawn & Tree's beat the 3 other bids we got. Plus, when we called the company asking them to come bid the job, the owner came to the house immediately. We would recommend them to others and definitely hire them again!
