We contracted to have skimmer replaced, pool replastered and patio refinished. Skimmer leaks, there are cracks between the patio and the pool and the pool finish is splotchy. This has been an expensive three year nightmare.
After the work was done, the circulation was poor because the new jets were smaller than the originals.  Michael quit after 2 months because he could not get the pool chemistry up to speed because of the poor circulation.  We  rectified the problem ourselves by replacing the jets with jets having a larger opening.  We also lost all circulation from the main drain. Despite several calls and visits, the main drain problems remain. Now two years later it appears that we have a leak in the skimmer. the expansion spaces around the pool that should have been filled with silicon caulking were filled with deck material  resulting in extensive cracking and chipping of the pool deck.  Even though Michael asked for a review after the work was done, we let it slide until now since we now are looking for another company to repair the pool again.  We only hope we have better luck by using an Angie's list A rated pool repair service.  We won't be going back to PoolWerks.

Previously installed multi-port valve had a manufacturer's defect and needed to be replaced. Also, during the process it was discovered that we had a SERIOUS algae problem. PoolWerx was on the job the very next business day. They replaced the valve for free! Yes, free. (the valve was under manufacturer warranty, but they didn't even charge me labor). And that algae problem (caused by 'operator error' ~ that operator being ME), was completely fixed too! Serviced DE filter, vacuumed pool, recharged all chemicals, and told me what I needed to do differently to avoid the same problem in the future (esp. during the hot TX summer). My pool has never looked better!! I was so happy with the service, I even hooked Jimmy up with some of my 'famous' smoked ribs that he had been smelling all afternoon...hey after all he did stay WAY past normal working hours just to ensure that everything was absolutely perfect! KUDOS to PoolWerx!!! They are the BEST and ONLY pool company to use!!

Excellent service, as always. Technician was prepared by bringing probable replacement parts to the job (before the issue had been diagnosed; always pleasant to not have to schedule another appointment). Repairs completed in timely, professional manner. Mike was kind enough to offer me a discount as well. Will definitely call on PoolWerx of San Antonio in the future.

Excellent service by Mike and Jimmy, as always. On time, professional, courteous, knowledgeable. Wasn't crazy about the price increase, but still my and quot;go toand quot; pool company! I'm sure next time Mike will cut me a break as a loyal Angie's List customer! :)

Same day service!! (Not because they are not busy, but because they make the adjustments necessary to ensure complete customer satisfaction) Came out, diagnosed, and was up and running in no time! This is the ONLY pool service company I will ever use!!
