Went well they recommend a new pump

I was told they would be out on Friday 7/13/18 and that they would call me with the estimate. I never received a call, so called the company back on Monday 7/16/18. They apologized, and said someone would be out on Friday 7/20/18. This time, I did receive a call from the technician: he was unable to install the motor (I do understand this; I imagine their concern was liability on a motor that they had not purchased). When I asked about the estimate for the pool cleaning, he told me he didn't do those; that someone else would contact me about the estimate later in the day. As of 7/25/18, I still haven't heard back from them. I went ahead and signed on with another company.

A Poolside technician returned my call promptly. They came out at the appointed time and installed a new pump . They also reworked some old plumbing and installed a diverter-valve. The new pump and plumbing continuous to works great. I would recommend Poolside and hire them again.

Chris installed the UV light system and explained it thoroughly. My old two-speed pump would only run the UV lights on high speed which uses a lot of power. A variable speed pump was recommended to save energy and run the UV light system efficiently. Chris recommended I get a Hayward VS pump online at poolside.com and gave me the necessary model information to order it. Chris saved me about $544. He also told me about the $450 CPS rebate and filled out all the necessary paperwork for me. The electrical efficiency of the pump will pay its cost in one or two years. The following day he came with the new VS pump and switched it out with the old pump and set the timer. He did extra work for free. Chris is super friendly, knowledgeable, informative and efficient. It was a totally pleasant experience. My costs were $1,303 and $1, 306 for the UV light system and the Hayward VS pump respectively. And that was all before the rebate.

Pool actuator was not working. Service man (Chris F. ) arrived next day; replaced damage part.

Poolside has been great - they are timely, professional and take the time to explain things to us (new pool owners)!

Made the appointment, and they were able to come the next day. Chris called first.  He evaluated the problem, recommended the least expensive solution, then wired everything up in about 20 minutes. He checked to make sure everything worked properly.  Then he answered some questions I had about pool lights, and discovered that the GFCI was tripping, possibly due to water in the enclosure.  He also talked to me about changing out the sand in the filter and explained the costs for that.

Chris was late due to weather, but quickly fixed leak and tested system.

I first spoke with Bert who researched the part in question (obsolete at this time since filter is 20+ years old) and found he had an appropriate substitution for the original plug. Chris was scheduled to do the service; he was very professional and knowledgeable. This is not the first time I have used this merchant and would not hesitate to do so again.

Tech arrived early, which was good. Found problem, fixed and was done in about an hour.

Everything was done professionally, courteously and on time. I have been with them 10 years for complete pool service, pump replacement, algae control, etc.

Chris came first thing in the morning and determined that my "clanging" pump motor needed to be replaced. This was done quickly and efficiently. I have had many dealings with Poolside this summer due to an ongoing algae problem and they have been tireless in their efforts to help me solve the problem. I will certainly call them in future if I need additional service and I purchase most of my supplies at Poolside because of their customer service  and lower prices.

Service person was knowledgeable and courteous. Repaired and replaced all necessary items within a couple of hours.

Very thorough in what he does and he always keeps the pool chemically balanced.  Sometimes rushed to move on to the next job and does not let us know he is on our property.

Wonderful. We did not have to worry about the pool at all. We have a contract with another company but they didn’t offer this service. Poolside came to the rescue. We are recommending poolside to buyer.
