She drove all over the place for us. She would talk us out of bad houses when we were getting desperate and told us to trust her and she would find us the perfect house. She delivered on her promise. We closed on our house this afternoon after doing a walk through earlier and it is everything we could have hoped for and more. So much so that the first thing I did after closing was ruch to a computer to write this review. She walked us through the confusing nitty gritty of the loans, negotiated for us on price, she was unilaterally responsible for the appraisal coming back after the VA tidewater incident (which she also explained what tidewater was because we didn't know). She was just remarkable from start to finish and we will continue to recommend her and work with her in all of our home endeavors. Thank you Petra!

Not only did she assemble a great team to ease me through every step of the process, but she was in constant communication with loan and title officers to keep things moving forward at a rapid pace, smoothing the process for me. She was in constant contact with me throughout the closing process, and even helped me arrange some renovations when I wasn’t able to be onsite to monitor the work. Petra is absolutely amazing! My husband and I were first time homebuyers in a crazy market and Petra was by our side every step of the way. Her knowledge and professionalism is superb. Beyond that, she was an amazing advocate who went to bat for us over and over again. Whenever we had a questions or concerns she would answer the phone with a detailed response, no matter our question. She was never pushy and always gave my husband and I the space to make decisions every step of the way. However, when we needed her expertise and experience she always gave a straightforward answer that included the pros and cons of each option. We contacted Petra Richardson with Home Team of America to help sell our home at the suggestion of a friend. It turns out that was the best advice and decision made. In just the few minutes into our meeting, we realized we were talking to a top-notch real estate agent. Upon further visiting with her she had a solid plan to sell our home. Petra took the time to thoroughly explain to us the selling process and made us feel at ease knowing that she would be there for us at every step. Petra provided guidance and suggestions on the best way to prepare the house for sale - which items to concentrate on and which ones we shouldn’t. She saved us plenty of time and money from the get go. While we were preparing the house, she was still hard at work setting things in motion. Once we the house was ready it was showtime and Petra went into action doing what she does best. She brought in a professional photographer for the house pictures; she thoroughly walked us through the market assessment to price it right; and promptly listed the house. She kept us informed every step of the way and we never felt like we were on our own to figure things out. No question we had was too big or too small for her. And she was always ready with an answer. Once the showings began, we had several offers the very first day! Again, Petra’s expertise and professionalism came through as she patiently explained to us the pros/cons of each offer and provided guidance to us. Ultimately the decision was ours to make but we could not have done it without the additional information she provided to us. Petra could’ve stirred us to a higher offer to make a higher commission but that is where she differs from other realtors. It was an amazingly seamless process. We toured homes for 8 months. She took so much time with us, never rushed, was always kind, but most of all, she was honest and had our backs as we haven't bought a home in 22 years!! I cannot boast enough over how fantastic and professional Petra was!!

Petra listed our home for far above what I thought was fair. She sold it in six hours. Even though our home was one of the smaller in our gated community (3br 2.5bath), we sold for the highest price ‘ever’ in our neighborhood. I’ve bought and sold homes over the years but Petra was well and above any agent I’ve known. She responds to questions wuickly and doesn’t rely on experience only. She finds answers no matter. I’m a hard woman to please, but Petra was able to meet all expectations. She is not the hurry up and close to get paid type of realtor. She takes the time to ask questions so YOU get exactly what you NEED. Often when my husband and I found ourselves settling on something, Petra would remind us that the property didn’t have a green belt and that was really important to us (she can recall your requirements so when you are out looking around you don’t settle for less). Petra will be with you til the end and makes things happen even if you’re up against tight deadlines. She is a wealth of knowledge and can put things into prospective so you follow along every step of the way.

Some friends went with a realtor to see a property of interest to me, and she proved to be incompetent. My friends, whom I’m eternally grateful to, recommended Petra. They worked with Petra and have been buying houses for quite some time and said “She’s the best realtor they’ve ever worked with.” I very much trust these people and was excited at what praise they gave new realtor and couldn’t wait to get in touch with her. The next day she called and we started what will be a memorable relationship. This was a long-distance type of relationship, as I’m unable to visit the houses before deciding to buy. I’m currently in the military and wanted a home ready for my family when we arrive at our new duty station instead of working a new job and looking for a new house. This was also our first time purchasing a home. Sounds like a perfect recipe for a complete disaster… In this situation, (long distance and unable to visit) it’s important to have someone on the other end that you can trust and has your best interest in mind and the experience with the real estate industry to back it up. I can whole-heartedly say that Petra had not only my best interest as a priority, but my families as well. We located a potential house in a great community with top rated schools. Petra negotiated the price and the seller accepted an offer well below asking. She continued to negotiate during the active option and we received the best possible outcome for the house. I took quick notice how Petra had a course of action for all scenarios because of her immense experience and real estate strategy. Petra looked at our current, laughable mortgage quote and recommended another company who gave us an incredible quote. She was with us every step of the way and I can’t thank her enough. She continues to reach out even after the purchase has been completed to make sure we’re good. It’s hard because you can’t really explain the awesomeness of the amazing Petra in just a paragraph but I did my best. Petra Richardson is God’s gift to real estate. Not only is she the sole reason I was able to be a home owner at 22 years of age, but she is also the reason I was able to sell my house at full asking price (more per square foot than all comparables) with no closing costs (didn’t pay closing costs when I purchased through her either). But here’s the kicker…she did it in less than 8 hours! Which was huge, because I’m in the military and had last minute orders to move across the country. She is absolutely amazing! When working with Petra a couple things will happen that will amaze you. First, it doesn’t feel like work. I’ve spoken with other realtors before and it feels very much like going to a used car lot. Some guy with a bad tie tries to talk you into a purchase that you will later regret. Petra is just the opposite. She gives honest advice and even talked me out of a couple houses. Probably my favorite though, is that even though I know that she was working with other clients as well, I always felt like I was her only client. She’s seemingly ALWAYS available, she always answers her phone and responds to emails…I mean really, there’s no other way to put it, it feels like you’re her only client. Bottom line, I was a 22 year old with a little money saved that knew nothing about real estate. After working with Petra, I’m now a 24 year old that has bought and sold a home and made thousands doing it. I was an out state buyer new to the San Antonio area and had entertained other realtors in the area for the purchase of a new home.
