We had two garage doors with one motorized opener that was over 30 years old. They removed all of this, installed two new doors and two new Liftmasters door openers with Wifi capability. Everything works well and looks nice. Very happy with the new doors.

They replaced the spring in my garage door, which had snapped. They also cheeked all the other parts of the garage door system and lubricated all the moving parts. Additionally I asked advice on the outside door opening device, they fully explained what I was doing wrong and causing sporadic problems in using. Overhead Door was extremely responsive to my request with very quick turn around from the time I called them to to response. The technician was knowledgeable and explained the typical time frame for the liability for the spring part, which helped me understand its durability. I would definitely using them again for my garage door and motor. I would recommend this company to my friends.

When we bought our house the previous owner had lost the keys to the garage door.  After checking with several locksmith, etc., I had found the cost prohibitive to have the lock re-keyed and had almost given up.  Then I went to the Overhead Door location on Weidner.  The staff there were very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous.  After I told them what I needed, they found a part and offered it at a very reasonable price.  Considering all the places I had checked before (including some other locations for the same company), I found this Overhead Door staff to be exactly what a customer needs - competent, courteous, fair and responsive.  If I ever need a whole door (or even a part of the system) I would not hesitate in going back to this location.  They are the best!

This company responded immediately and had my spring replaced within a day expertly with exactly the right parts and took less than an hour. It turned out the service truck did not have the correct door seal but a follow up appointment was made and I was only charged for the seal material as consolation for not bringing the right seal the first time.

The garage door fell when the spring on the left side broke on a Friday.  We got the name of the company from Angie's reviews and clipped a coupon.  The call was answered quickly but they were booked until the following Wednesday.  No confirmation call beforehand, but they did come out as promised and did an excellent job for a reasonable price.  Technician was friendly and professional, but forgot his ladder and had to come back later.  The garage door works fine and he appears to have quieted the operation of the lifter.

After review of the 3 estimates we went with a different company for the removal of the two garage doors and installation of two new garage doors.

SCAM ALERT!
THE GARAGE DOOR ONLY WORKED FOR 8 WEEKS AND IT TOOK 6 WEEKS FOR THE COMPANY TO FIX IT.
The original work was done back in November.  We were pretty happy with it at first.  Not even two months after the installation, the new door malfunctioned.  The door came down crooked and fell off of the rails.  It was hanging by about 4 of the wheels on the track.  I immediately called the company phone number.  The answering service said there is NO EMERGENCY SERVICE.  No one picked up and my only option was to leave a message.
Being the situation that I was in trying to get to work, I called my husband to help me with the door.  He left his work right away to help me secure our home so that we could both report to our jobs.  I received a phone call from the company almost an hour after I had left a message that said they would schedule someone to come out to our home to fix the problem.  They didn't say when they would be there other than before the end of the day.  As both my husband and I had to go to work that day, we couldn't leave our garage door open all day and wait for a technician to come to our home.
We were able to bring the door down without any assistance from the company.  The said that they would send someone the following day to fix the door.  Again, they could not give me a time to anticipate when the technician would come by.  They said they would call before the end of the day to confirm a time.  Before the end of the day, they did call and we set an approximate time that the technician would come by.  I had to take time off from work to let the technician in.
When the technician came by, he did not fix our door that day.  I received a phone call from the Sales and Installation Manager, Darrell, two days later who said that MY WARRANTY WAS NOT APPLICABLE due to the fact that we brought the door down ourselves.  He told me it would cost me $335 to fix the door.  I told him that I expected it to be covered under my one year warranty.  He spoke with my husband and quoted him a different price, $265.  I'm not sure why there are two different price quotes with the original cost being $467 for the door and $145 for the installation.  MAYBE THEY CHARGE WOMEN MORE THAN MEN.  We told him this was UNACCEPTABLE.
I wrote a letter to the San Antonio office as well as the corporate office requesting that the repairs be done under the one year warranty.  Once they received the letter, one of the office members (not the manager) called me to tell me CORPORATE WOULD PAY FOR THE REPAIR of my door.  THANK YOU CORPORATE!  He NEVER APOLOGIZED or admitted any wrong doing.  It even seemed that he was blaming us for the door malfunctioning.  He said I would hear back to set the date for the repair work.  One week went by and NO WORD.  I called the office to inquire about the repair.  The manager told me he was waiting for a part that should be there in about two weeks.  I called again two weeks later and was told the item had been shipped and wait another week.  Another week and NO CALL.  I called the manager again and he said he'd check to see if it had been received.  I told him last I spoke with him it had been shipped.  He still didn't admit that it was in stock but due to all the waiting I had done agreed to set up a date for installation.  The following day, it was finally repaired.
THE GARAGE DOOR ONLY WORK FOR 8 WEEKS AND IT TOOK 6 WEEKS FOR THE COMPANY TO FIX IT.
IT COST ME 9.5 HOURS OF LEAVE FROM WORK AND SEVERAL HOURS CALLING AND WRITING A LETTER TO THE COMPANY. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.  My experience is only in relation to the San Antonio location and does not reflect the company as a whole.  The corporate office was credited with trying to do right by paying for the repair.
