My Repairman

Alex arrived right on time.  I found him to be courteous and professional.  He went right to work after hearing my concerns and quickly diagnosed the problem (a malfunctioning water valve).  He even had the required replacement part in his truck.  The repair took less than 30 minutes.   He went above and beyond by noticing a problem with how my dryer vent was positioned. He adjusted it so the ing my dryer vent hose to make the dryer work not work as hard when drying.  I'll gladly recommend this company!

Performed service call on front loading Whirlpool washer.  I thought a shock had broken, but Alex said it was just out of balance and got the machine running smoothly!  I was impressed that he didn't try to sell me something we didn't need!  I had used them to service our leaking refrigerator and their tech finally took care of that problem after another company failed to fix it!

They were very prompt, we did not have to wait a week like we would have to with most other companies. They were able to get to us either the next day or within 48 hours. The part they needed for the washing machine they had to order, they were able to get the part faster than expected. When you call you always get a person and never have to press any buttons to get an actual person on the line.

It was great.  They were on time and were able to repair the dishwasher quickly.

Called on a Wednesday afternoon to schedule an appointment and was able to secure an appointment for the next morning from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. I was told the repairman would call 30 minutes before he would arrive and did receive a call from the office that he would be there in 30 minutes and to confirm my address. Repairman showed up within 20 minutes of receiving the call and was ready to perform the work. He reviewed my washing machine and even though he knew what was wrong, he went through all of the machine codes to make sure nothing else wrong came up. The problem ended up being an user error (using too much HE soap). He showed me the correct amount to HE detergent too use for washing clothes. While he was at the house, I asked him a question about our fridge (items on the top level was freezing) and he explained what was wrong and gave a suggestion on how to fix it. So far so good. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for any appliance issue.

Needing a repairman for my electric dryer, I went to my good friend...Angie's List, where I found My Repairman who was highly rated.  When I called, I was impressed from the beginning.  Professionalism and good service is sometimes hard to find, but I found just that.  When I stated that I needed a repairman for my dryer and for my oven door, I was told that someone could be there the next day...YAY.  
The next day, Alex called to tell me he was on his way.  When he got here, I quickly found the problem with my dryer...a worn pulley and front bearings.  He adjust both for a short-term fix, but advised that they really need to be replaced.  He would need to order the parts and provided a quote but assured me that the current day charges would be deducted from the price quoted for replacement of the parts.  I was impressed with that.
Because the dryer is 6 years old, I've decided to replace the dryer rather than repair, but I was pleased that Alex and My Repairman gave me that option.
Alex also looked at my oven door and found that the door was actually closing properly.  Another star in Alex's cap.  There was no charge for that...and no attempt to charge me for work that wasn't needed.

Excellant service, We knew that it would take 1, 3 or 7 days to get the part. We would have liked a call back to tell us when to expect the install of the new part.
Both men were professional, the Son thought he had to move our refrigerator to complete the job, and did so. We did not care for that and in the end the refrig did not need to be moved. He just did not remember where the screws went in.

We are very satisfied with the services of George and "My Repairman" company.

Our refridgerator would not cool as the temp would rise to a high degree which would eventually harm our food. Quickly we went to Angie's list for Appliance repair and located My Repairman. We called and talked with Linda who was very helpful. She understood our problem and urgency. She called a repairman, George, who later contacted us and set an appointment for the afternoon. George called prior to coming. He was punctual, professional, courteous and explained the problem and how he would repair it. George had an assistant who was very helpful also. We recommend George and this company for large appliance repair. So far, all is working properly and we are satisfied.

We have always been very satisfied with is work. Alex is extremely efficient and helpful. He is very honest and upfront about what services need to be done.

The dryer suddenly stopped heating.  Although it continued to tumble and work in general, the clothes were not getting dry because there was no heat.  I called on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and reported this to the intake person at My Repairman.  She said that she could schedule a service for the next day between 9 and 1 or 1 and 5.  I asked for the earlier time and also asked, if possible to be on the earlier side of that time frame as I had somewhere to be by 1:00.  She said she could not make a promise, but that she would make a note.  Alex called a little after 10 am and said he was on his way.  He arrived around 10:30, was very courteous, quickly assessed the problem and told me that the heater coils had burned out, but that everything else on my machine looked very good.  He wasn't sure if he had the part with him, but went to check the van.  He came back with the part and a written explanation of the price for the part and labor.  The cost of the trip was applied to the total cost.  Alex was completely finished by 11:00 and the dryer is back to working fine.  I will definitely call them next time I need appliance repair.

George was awesome and knew what the problem was immediately and got a replacement part
rebuilt since this part is no longer manufactured.  Really like this company!

I admit that this was our second choice since we started at the top of Angie's List's ratings. Since the first choice never returned our call, We contacted My Repairman at 4pm. They answered the phone! Someone came out the next day during the requested time window, calling about 25 minutes before arriving. George was clean, effective, professional, and friendly. In 20 minutes he diagnosed the problem (water pump) and ordered the part. He came out the next day, on time,  to do the repair and was finished in 10 minutes. He provides a 90 day warranty, but we hope we never have to use it. We are happy.

They have a decent price and do decent work.

Alex gave me a call 30 minutes before arrival and showed up within the window time I was given. He got straight to work, and after a quick look told me he was confident he knew what the issue was and gave me an estimate. I told him to go ahead and fix the issue, which took about an hour. He found a few large bits of debris that had been caught under the drum, he removed them and cleaned everything. He also gave me some great tips on regular washer care, and when I mentioned that I wanted to replace the boot/seal of my washer, recommended where I could find the part for a good price. He was courteous and professional, the price was reasonable, and I would definitely call again for future service.

My fridge started making noise on Monday morning. I was suppose to go out of town on Tuesday so I started calling companies to find one that could come out ASAP. I talked to a pleasant young lady who answered the phone (nice to find a company who actually  answers the phone as opposed to voice mail) and told her what my situation was. She checked and I was told that someone could come out that morning. George Jr. arrived around noon and diagnosed the problem as a bad fan. There was not a part available locally but he said that I could put a box fan behind the fridge and that would hold it until I returned from my trip. We scheduled him to come back on Friday afternoon after I returned, he showed up promptly and replaced the fan. George Jr was extremely knowledgable and courteous and an all around pleasure to talk to.

We had 3 moves from different locations to our new house.  All moves went smoothly with no breakage.

They were very prompt. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They gave me like a 1 hour window and they were here right in our window. What I really like about them is instead of doing a four hour window they just give a one hour window. On one that they repaired they came out and they thought it was going to be a bigger repair and they didn't force it, there were like, "I think this is going to be a small repair", and they have the part with them. It was really easy. They were fast and they carried some of those parts with them. They got the serial numbers before hand, so they brought their bucket of stuff for that serial number of appliance. I didn't have them to order parts, so that was nice. When you are an Angie's List member they discount the service call. It's a family company, so when you are calling you will talk to the mom or the sister and then they send out the dad or their son to do the work.

It went very well.  He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and installed in a short amount of time.

I called My Repairman based on the reviews here.  My first interaction was with Jennifer.  She has excellent phone skills and was very professional.  They immediately set up an appt and Alex arrived on time.  He was very nice and looked professional.  He looked at my 2002 dryer and gave me options.  He was even able to give me prices of the parts.  Unfortunately, it probably isn't cost effective to repair my dryer, because I need several expensive parts.  But,  I was very impressed with this company and will call again.

George arrived within the time frame that we were given, which was the day after I called for service. The dryer had the old style three prong connector, which did not fit the newer plug that the house was equipped with. He replaced the cord, as well as the unpack and install. He also leveled the washer and tested it to make sure it worked properly. He was very professional and cleaned up after the task was complete. I highly recommend him and his company - they are clearly outstanding.

They told me there was nothing wrong with my washing machine.  He advised us that the problem was coming from the drain and that they do not do plumbing issues. They came when they said they would and they were very nice.
