Showed up approx 4 hours after we called, at the time they said they would. Was professional. Thoroughly went through the differential diagnosis of our broken washing machine and kept us informed during the process. Told us the mother board was out and gave us an exact quote (after calling home office) within 20 minutes. After deciding the price was too much for our 7 yr old washing machine we bought a new one. But the tech definitely saved us money with honesty (he basically rec'd a new machine) and he honored our angie's list coupon so the whole 60-90 minute visit cost us $35.00

We called and were able to get a same day appointment. Alex came out and was extremely courteous. He surveyed the damage and gave a quote and explained thorougly (in layman's terms) what he would do. After I accepted his quote he got to work. 'My Repaiman' came in lower than our Home Warranty company...including the cost to repair. The dryer works!

The repairman's guess that the rollers had fallen apart were correct. (He showed them to me.) He replaced the rollers. He also checked the belt that they had installed a few months earlier. The belt they replaced had been a "guess", as to the size, because the machine is so old that the actual model number had worn off. I had been warned at the time that the belt might not work, however, it has been fine. The machine runs perfectly and so much quieter.Since the machine is so old, it probably won't last too much longer, but I have been able to use it happily for about twenty years.

What impressed me most (besides the price, I've been charged way more by other companies for smaller repairs) was that when I called on a Saturday morning, the people at My Repairman went out of their way to make sure someone could be out that day, even though I said I'd be happy to wait until Monday if necessary. The technician was out within 2 hours. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the fridge (and even cleaned it up a little inside for me!) and had the part needed for it. He checked my oven, which wasn't heating properly, and showed me how to adjust it. He was helpful and very courteous. I would definitely use this company again, and recommend it to others.

More expensive than original estimate. Left wet towels on wooden floor, hard for me to pick up, but they did empty freezer to repair, then put all food back in. Overall, experience was ok.

However, prior to a final decision from me, George wanted to check on the status of the motor. He ran the machine and was concerned about the loud noise generated by the spinning tub. Apparently, the washer should be "whisper quiet" while turned on. He concluded that the washer would have a limited life span even after the repair was done secondary to a rusted motor. He discussed with me the strategy of undergoing a $182.00 repair to a washer that had a limited life span as compared to purchasing a new washer for about $400-$500. We elected to defer the repair and purchase a new washer.

The two people that i talked to were both very rude. I was hung up on twice and had to go back and forth with these to people. I wanted an estimate to repiar my dishwasher all i wanted to know what there trip charge was to come out. They gave me 48 hours to decide if i wanted to use them, but i didn't want to be charged additional trip fees if i did decide to go with them. I wanted them to fax me the estimate but they keep hanging up on me, i feel like there should be some communication between us. They have been very rude to me

"THIS CUSTOMER CALLED OUR OFFICE ON 01/27 AND REQUESTED SERVICE FOR A DISHWASHER, SHE SAID SHE GOT OUR NAME FROM ANGIE'S LIST AND WANTED US TO GO TO HER TENANT HOUSE, SHE ASKED NUMEROUS QUESTIONS INCLUDING HOW MUCH WE CHARGE PER SERVICE TRIP,WE ANSWERED IN THE MOST PROFESSIONAL MANNER WITH ALL OUR INFORMATION AND SHE AGREED TO THE SERVICE TERMS INCLUDING THAT IF SHE WILL DECLINE SERVICE AND PARTS AFTER THE ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN SHE WAS TO PAID OUR SERVICE TRIP WHICH IS $45.00, WE MENTION SHE COULD USE THE WEBSITE COUPON ($10.00 OFF) THAT WE OFFER ON THE WEBSITE,SHE SAID SHE WAS DEFINITELY GOING TO USE THE COUPON. WE SPECIFICALLY TOLD HER THAT THE TECHNICIAN WILL CALL HER AFTER HE WILL DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM SHE SAID IT WAS FINE THAT SHE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE BILL, SHE WAS HAPPY THAT WE COULD SERVICE THE DAY AFTER. WHEN TECH ARRIVED TO TENANTS HOUSE HE DIAGNOSED PROBLEM AND CALL CUSTOMER TO LET HER KNOW THE ESTIMATED COST OF REPAIRS,THE CUSTOMER IMMEDIATELY DECLINED SAYING SHE NEEDED TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT, THE TECH TOLD HER THAT WHENEVER SHE WOULD BE READY, FOR HER TO CALL US BACK AND HE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO REPAIR THE DISHWASHER AND DISCOUNT THE SERV TRIP FROM IT, (WE NEVER AGREED TO WAIT FOR HER 48 HOURS,BEFORE DECIDING WHETHER SHE NEEDED TO PAY SERV TRIP)BUT HE NEEDED TO COLLECT THE SERVICE TRIP CHARGE, SHE REFUSED TO PAY SAYING SHE DIDN'T NEEDED TO PAY FOR SOMETHING SHE DIDN'T GOT SERVICE ON. The serviceman came the same day we called the company and at the specified time. He diagnosed the problem quickly and went to get the needed parts. Unfortunately, he was given the wrong main control board and had to return it. He then had to order the correct one, which took several days to arrive and for him to return. He completed the job quickly, professionally, and pleasantly. I don't know how much of the delay to attribute to the supplier vs. My Repairman. I do think he should have been able to determine that he had been given the wrong part without having to bring it and then return it. Overall, I was pleased with the responsiveness of My Repairman, the quality of the work, and the estimate of what the job would cost. I was also given a $28.00 discount.

Overall, this repairman is very knowledgeable and very experienced. He had one helper that was alert and focused on the needs of his boss, which was a pleasant surprise so the job went quickly and these guys did not waste anytime. They checked water supply and explained the problem to me so I could understand. The repairmen showed me the clog in the existing hose and replaced the hose with a higher quality hose that will not clog. I got the bill and Angie's List discount immediately, and I happily wrote them a check.

George was very punctual for the initial diagnoses and estimate. Unfortunately, the next day when I was supposed to have a morning appointment for the repair, I was not serviced until mid-afternoon with no contact from the company except when I called them. George indicated that he had asked the office to contact me as he had run into a problem with an earlier appointment. Unfortunately, they did not. Had I been contacted and explained that George was running late, they would have received all As. George did replace my hose to the ice maker at no additional charge.

I called to set up the appointment and told them exactly what part I needed and the make and model of my fridge. When they came they did not have the parts for my fridge, and we had to have them come out again with the exact parts I had told them we needed in the first place. This was a inconvenience and waste of my time. Not to mention more time that my water had to be turned off to my fridge. When he replaced my ice maker I had two models to choose from. He told me that if I was unhappy with my selection he would replace it with the other model, but to let him know with in 3 weeks so he could resale the part as new before it developed any lime spots. This was a red flag to me. If he would resale this part as new to someone else, what kind of quality was I getting?

WE DO THAT IN THE FIRST VISIT TO MAKE SURE THE PROBLEM WITH THE ITEM IS GOING TO BE TAKEN CARE OF PROPERLY SO WE CAN ORDER THE RIGHT PARTS IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHEN I INSTALLED THE ICE MAKER BOTH OF MY PARTS WERE BRAND NEW AND I OPENED THE BOXES IN FRONT OF THIS CUSTOMER TO GIVE HER A CHOICE, WHEN I MENTION THAT "IF SHE CHANGED HER MIND LATER..." WAS NOT TO RESALE THE PART AS NEW AS SHE PUT IT IN HER COMMENTS, IT WAS TO RETURNED IT TO THE STORE IN GOOD CONDITION AND GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM (THE PARTS STORE) AS YOU CAN SEE BY MY PREVIOUS RECORDS MY MAIN GOAL AND CONCERN IS BEING FAIR TO THE CUSTOMER I NEVER USED ANY RECYCLED PARTS, NOR I INTENT TO DO SO. THAT'S WHY I GIVE MY CLIENTS THE WARRANTY THAT I OFFER BECAUSE IT IS BASED IN GOOD FAITH AND THE PARTS THAT I USED ALWAYS COME FROM A REPUTABLE STORE OR MANUFACTURER THAT IS ALSO GIVEN ME THAT SAME WARRANTY. My repairman arrived on time and was pleasant, professional and courteous. After ascertaining that the dryer had electric power he immediately identified the problem was a fuse. He had the needed fuse on his truck, so the problem was quickly solved.

Mr. Estrada took the time to diagnose the problem with the refrigerator, in order to ensure that the correct part was replaced. Due to the age of the refrigerator (10 yrs old), he was concerned that he did not have the correct part in his van, but fortunately, he did.
