They never answered their phone! I called and called and no one ever picked up.

Bad follow through and proposal was completely incorrect both times. Their proposals were not correct because I asked for an estimate to landscape the entire backyard, mulch all beds and also what it would cost to put a patio in a certain area. I asked for two landscape quotes one with the patio and one without the patio. The first quote was barely enough to cover 1/3 of the backyard and the quote for the patio was not for the materials we discussed. He actually suggested the materials so for him to get them incorrect was surprising. When I requested a corrected quote I did not change my mind or expand the scope of the project, I asked for what was originally discussed in our first meeting. The second quote was still not correct and barely covered 1/2 of the backyard. We also never had an agreement to issue the quote in draft form. I did have their office number and Tom Flaherty's cell phone number. Tom never answered his cell phone any time I called and the only time someone answered the office phone it was his father and he could not answer any questions. I had to leave multiple messages and very few were returned. I never found anyone to be answering the phone or monitoring the message center because I left many messages at each number and had to leave multiple messages to get just one return phone call. I gave the landscaper that I hired (Landscape Management Company) the exact same request that I gave Tom and I had no problems with them because they were on time to their appointments, gave me a correct quote for what I requested, answered my questions promptly and were courteous as can be seen from my straight A rating I gave them on the Angie's List website.

Tom and his crew, led by his foreman, Mario, started the work on our scheduled date. All of the work proceeded in a timely fashion with the irrigation, rock walls and raised rock plant beds starting the process. Total completion took about three weeks due to rain delays. All plants provided were of good quality and guaranteed and the sod was Bermuda tiff. Cynthia's design plan was followed, allowing Tom and I to have a great working relationship since everything was on paper. Tom did a great job on the irrigation and since he had the whole job, not one of the flower beds was overlooked as he used several different heads to cover the irrigation needs. The total job done by Texas Landscape was outstanding and it was a pleasure working with Tom Flaherty and his company.

Called Texas Landscape Solutions to get an estimate for installing bricks around flower bed and plants in flower bed. Tom came and discussed what we wanted and we scheduled follow up meeting. Tom canceled followup appointment and did not return calls to reschedule meeting. Company not worried about their business reputation.

The company is very knowledgeable and professional. The work was started and completed on time. All phases of the job were explained in detail before hand. The crew worked non stop in the heat and were polite and friendly. After the job was complete, the job area was cleaned and left neat. I will certainly call this company again. The office staff was also very helpful.

It was a real pleasure to work with Tom, the owner, and Cindy, the landscape architect. Tom's team worked so hard each and every day for two solid weeks (Saturday, too) in 100 degree heat, to completely landscape our yard. We had a few changes to be made, and Tom was very patient and helpful in making the changes. I would recommend this company to anyone. They did an outstanding job for us, and we are very happy with the results! It's a pleasure to find a company that is professional and does quality work without an attitude problem.

The yard looks so much better than it had, and the new drainage system helps keep everything green.
