Everything went just as expected. There was clear communication from obtaining the estimate, to finalizing a date to fix the roof, and pictures were provided on what was done and how it turned out. Mr. Vann proved to be an honest man, with fair pricing, and quality labor.

Smoothly, however the written report did not follow until the contractor had been prompted for it twice in less than a weekl

I gave him the one half down. I contacted him 2 times after paying the down payment and he always had an excuse. Then I kept getting the answering machine and never he never returned my calls calls. I sent a certified letter and it was returned to me and I haven't heard anything since.

We were out of town while our home needed roof repairs. We were very uncomfortable about having someone do work on our home while we were not there but JV Roofing came highly recommended by our agent, so we contacted him and he responded within an hour after we left a message. He said he would go by and take a look and get back with us with an estimate, he also let us know that he was very busy and it would be about two weeks out before he could do any work if we wanted him to do it. He did exactly as he said and gave us an estimate a few days later and said it would be about 2 weeks out before he could start. Once again he kept his word and started the work about two weeks later on a Friday and finished up the following day. As I mentioned we were out of town so all of the communication between us was by phone, text and email. He responded to us no matter when we contacted him, day, evening and weekends. John was a pleasure to work with and we did finally meet him face to face a few days after the work was finished. He is truly trustworthy and very reliable. We also had other estimates and John's estimate was in the same price range as the others.

 Indicated several places which needed to be patched as water was coming in the house.  Said would be back when roof dried out.  Called no less than 6 times.  No calls were returned.  In January 2015 calls began going straight to voice mail

They're very professional and very polite. The service was excellent and they did a great job of cleaning up. I would absolutely recommend them to others, just because of the whole experience. They're professional and have a great price. How well someone cleans up is a big thing to me. If someone were to leave trash and crap around, I'm not going to be happy. You couldn't tell, walking outside after he was gone, that anything had ever happened to the roof. There wasn't even any tiny bits of roofing material or anything.

This is a high integrity company that I have recommended to several friends. During our home sale process we had an offer from a buyer who was pressing for us to replace the roof. John also looked at the roof and stood by his recommendation that there were a small amount of repairs required and a new roof was not necessary. We lost that buyer but ultimately sold the house at list price without replacing the roof. John is quick to respond to requests, made a couple extra trips to our place to double check things. He operates like a small town business, friendly, reliable, available trustworthy and affordable.

I was very pleased with the results. I was pleased with the information given, the results, the technique. They use hand roofing. They're very quick and very thorough. There were excellent results. I love looking at it. They gave good advice but let me decide. I got an estimate from another contractor and John's estimate came in a little lower but another job he was a little more expensive. I'm guessing he's a little more expensive than your run-of-the-mill roofer. He might not be the cheapest. We've got a lot of work to do and we wished John could do it all. He's very good and very personable. He does what he says he'll do.
