Jon Wayne Service Company

My purchased an AC unit for my 91-year-old mother's home. She's experienced a series of system failures. All were fixed, but I'm left wondering why a 91 year old woman has to suffer failure after failure after failure of a new AC system. The manager at Wayne Air Conditioning, after initially committing to "doing what is right," then said "there is nothing we can do." New AC systems simply don't have a series of failures like this one has had.

John Wayne technicians showed up on time and did an outstanding job on the needed services. Additionally, they were very professional and respectable. Definitely would hire again. Highly recommended.

John arrived promptly and knew what needed to be done. He went over it with me and let me know that it would be covered under warranty. He got busy and found the clogged line and went above and beyond by fixing the line so it doesn’t get clogged up as quickly or hopefully never again. He also delivered salt pellets for my water softener and put 4 bags in to fill the container. John was friendly as always. He’s been out before so it was good seeing a familiar face.

Sweet. Jon Wayne A/C service isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. Unsurpassed professionalism and service.

It went well and after talking to the tech we decided to change the unit . They will show up next week to install new one . Jon Wayne company from my experience is the best company .

George Gutierrez of Jon Wayne Service Company did an excellent job. He explained what he was going to do every step of the way. I really appreciate that he did a through job and did not rush the job. George was very courteous and friendly. I will be requesting him for future jobs. He flushed the water heater and reset all six of my NEST PROTECT smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and paired them to my smartphone. He also reset one of the anti-virus bulbs, so that it was functioning correctly. I am a member of the "Rescue Club" which means that his maintenance/inspection of the electrical and plumbing in my home was done at no charge.

The service person Steven Grimes was excellent. He took pictures and observed the damage technically, then produced a solution. Recommended a fix then took action. He was very professional and told me exactly what was wrong and how much it would cost. I would pay twice that much for a honest professional just doing his job for the best company in Texas. Jon Wayne is an excellent company. This is my second time calling Jon Wayne and they are the experts and professionals with A/C and Plumbing needs.

Very smoothly. Jon Wayne is great to work with. Ruben Moreno did the service and was very knowledgeable - advised for replacing original unit that was 20 years old (which I had told a year ago that it would need replacing soon) John Landin was very easy to work with. The morning of the install I decided to change to a new unit which I was able to do with absolutely no hassle. Installers- Christian M, Eric W, Marcus L, Nashawn T, and Daniel R were all great. Friendly, quickly installed unit, cleaned up area they worked in. I have used Jon Wayne in the past and recommended to friends and would not hesitate to use them again!

HVAC Design Consultant Joshua Estrada came out to my house. He gave off a used car salesman vibe with the line 'what would it take to get you to purchase today'. When I asked for a copy of the quotes he said he was unable to send the quote or guarantee the pricing for more than 7 days. My father had a Jon Wayne consultant same day and was able to get a copy of the quote. Joshua proceeded to get offended when I would ask questions or challenge his sales approach. HVAC prices are about 2-3 times the price of larger units from other vendors for their rebranded Amana units. The Amana has a better warranty but the price is increase is due to all the other add-ons that are not required. Most packages are 16 SEER and priced at double than Trane or Lennox 19-20 SEER units. Jon Wayne follows a car dealership sales model (predator sales tactics), they add excessive amount of add-ons that provide little to no value in an effort to drive the price up. The design consultants are more interested in making a sale than educating and meeting the customers needs.

Great. Troy S. was very responsive to my questions, explaining what need to be repaired, and had all the parts to replace the pipes and fittings. Cleaned the service area after completing the job. He also explained service options. The price was slightly higher than expected but worth it considering what needed to be repaired. If Troy S. is an example of their professionalism, then I would call Jon Wayne again for future service.

Tech arrived at 8AM, Sunday. Quickly discovered it was a bad relay which was still under warranty, so no charge at all this time. Yippee. Lucky this time. Replacing a compressor is big bucks!

The actual work was scheduled for another day but the service technician explained all our options. He was very professional and courteous.
