Our experience with GOOD Electric went above and beyond our expectations.  First of all, Debbie is a great staff member. She was professional and responsive.  She scheduled a technician as soon as she was able to.  Secondly, the technician, Rafael, called on time and arrived promptly.  Rafael was also professional, skilled, and very thorough.  My husband and I were impressed with his services and estimates.  We experienced GOOD Electric to be upfront about their pricing and we believe they are dedicated to excellence. We will certainly use them again!

I would highly recommend Good Electric.  I found them through Angie's List, and could not have been more pleased and satisified.  The ladies in the office are incredibly responsive and the technician who worked on our house was very knowledgable, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure some he fixed the problems we had with our very old house to current code.  He was honest, took the time to explain the issues to me so I understood them, and was very fair about the scope of work.  You won't be disappointed if you use Good Electric.

The service call was part of a "big deal."  After it was established what the problem was, John L recommended replacing the GFI.  The original one was working but was 10 years old and might malfunction.   Even though I had other items on my list, evidently the "big deal" was used up with this single item with 50 cents to spare.  He did answer a question on proper wiring of a lamp switch.  It would have taken about 1 minute to do it but he didn't offer which I thought was a bit petty.  Otherwise everything was done quite professionally.

I had a voucher for 2 hours of service.  They sent two guys - one of which seemed to be a helper but I was charged an hour for each guy so when they finished the 2nd ceiling fan I was told I had some time left.  They asked if I wanted them to start the 3rd one.  I agreed but then when they finished it in 30 minutes I was charged for an hour.  I just think they need to be very up front on their service.
Overall, they provided very good service.

Called company on Monday, they were scheduled for the following day and were right on time.  He may not have anticipated the extra work, but made himself immediately available to make all the corrections before the end of day.

I liked them very much. The technician that came out was very helpful and did the job well. When a part was needed, someone delivered it so the technician didn't have to leave.

I used an Angie's List deal that included 2 hours of electrical service for $99 and it was truly a deal! Good Electric scheduling was easy and the person who I spoke with was absolutely lovely, giving me apt. options. When the electrician arrived I explained that I needed an outlet in the ceiling of my garage for my new garage door opener. I even offered to let him change the light outlet to an electrical outlet if it would keep the price within reason. When I went back out to check on progress he had already installed a new outlet in the ceiling at no additional charge to the $99 promo charge. Service was quick and excellent. I have recomended Good Electric to friends and family and will keep them on my list of "go to" contractors.

I had contacted another electric company regarding this fixture.  They came in and said a 12 X12 hole had to be cut.  I would have to call a plumber and they would return to reinstall the fixture.  This is all they did and left.  I received an invoice from them for $119.00.  I called them and said I would not pay for nothing.  Incidently, I found them on Angies List.
I received my Angies List book and found Good Electric.  I called them and they were to send someone on Thursday, Sept 20. They called and said the electrician was running late.  I did not have a problem with this.  We re-scheduled for Sept 24.  The electrician arrived at the time stated.  He was able to reinstall the fixture without cutting a 12 x 12 hole or a plumber.  I cannot tell you how pleased I was with this electricians work (John).  He was experienced and knew exactly how to reinstall this fixture.  I find it difficult to hire good qualified companies for any type of work here in San Antonio.  Good Electric is the type of company I would highly recommend.  I am very particular how work is performed and this electrician did an outstanding job.  I will definitely call them again for any other electrical problems in the future.

The electrician was scheduled within a multi-hour window.  He called 30 minutes before the beginning of the window to let me know he was going to arrive about 15 minutes after the window.  Wow, absolutely no waiting around for hours.
We walked around and I told him about the concerns.  He took the time to explain his finding.  He also talked me out of a repair that was previously pointed out by an inspector; everything was fine and even brought the second electrician over to confirm it.
They were prompt and tidy.  Definitely will receive any future business!!

Extremely professional

Called them to fix my ceiling fans. There was scheduling miscommunication which got sorted out after a few calls. The secretary did not pass the needed info to the electrician who came out. The electrician did not come across as professional when he found out what actually needed to be done and questioned why we didn't let them know when we made the appt (which we had done when I spoke to the secretary to make the appt). Apparently she did not pass it on to the electrician who came out. On the positive side, he was willing to come out a second time to complete the 2nd hour that we paid for. At the end of the day, the small jobs that he completed was not worth the 99/- we spent.
Will not call this company again

Great job! Fast service, very nice, went out of their way to make us feel valued.

They gentleman was very nice and I was pleased with the work.

We had purchased the Anglie's List Coupon for 2 hrs of electrical work.  He was in and out within about 45 minutes. Found that the solar cell was burned out (which we had pre-bought at Lowe's) which he replaced.  I was surprised to discover that he packed up to leave after this; I assumed that he would stay 2 hrs and had lined up a few other small jobs that whomever came would be able to do.  He left a payment statement with set pricing which was marked in the $199 job category.  I had no idea that replacing a burned out solar cell would be $200 normally.  When I went back to review the coupon later I discovered that it was for "up to 2 hours" of work...I should have read the offer more closely.  Overall he did a good job diagnosing the problem, was on time and was nice.

Went through a lot of stuff to finally track down the problem but we got it in the end. Same flat fee so that cuts both ways.
