Fantastic! Their representative, Cesar, was professionally dressed and very courteous. His punctuality was so good, that he worked with my wife to accomodate her morning schedule since the water had to be briefly turned off in order to install the new machine. The machine has a monitor inside the house so we do not have to go the outside closet to check on the machine. Moreover, we have peace of mind since the new softener comes with a 10 year warranty. It's working great and we now have soft water!!

My wife and I got 3 vendors from Angie's list. Out of the 3 we met with 2 really stood out as far as professionalism and explaining the benefits of their product (we absolutely were inundated with info). After meeting with Cindy Barrera from Culligan, my wife and I decided that they were who we wanted to do business with - Cindy was the only one to show us a list of our neighbors (there were a lot) who did business with Culligan. We went with a rental for a small upfront investment, $49/Mo and the opportunity to apply our rental fees, after a short period of time, toward purchase of the unit. The day of installation came and the technician was prompt, friendly, neat and answered our questions. At the end of the install, we realized the additional faucet to wash our vehicles was left off the install order. He was finished, packed up and ready to move to his next install but after we informed him- he didn't complain or even seem to be upset, he just called into the office and got approval then did it. We were very impressed with this....who hasn't bought something and were surprised on install?? That's not all.....after finishing he gave us a small "thank you" gift bag with a card signed by Cindy, the VP and the owner -thanking us for our business. There were 2 subsequent follow-up calls then a "final inspection" to insure our satisfaction. Truth be known, my wife and I are professional sales people, we were highly impressed with their organization- more importantly their company representatives. They did what they said they were going to do, did it to our satisfaction (and then some) then followed up. WOW. We highly recommend them.

I have to say, this company is top notch. I rented a unit at my previous address but bought the system at our new place. Both times my experience was great. From start to the end. I really feel that we got the best of the best with this entire process. Linda, the sales rep, was extremely knowledgeable and took time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and needed. This house is an older house, built in 1960, so there was an issue of where to place the water softener. Linda had some great ideas that we are very happy with. She even brought the guys lunch on the install date. I'm sure they loved her for that. She really is a sweet lady. The install guys (Joseph, Frank and Art) were extremely friendly and didn't mind me being nosey and curious on how they were overcoming these huge obstacles to make this such a success. Again, they were more than willing to explain in great details any questions that I had. They really did an amazing job with this install and clean up afterwards. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. And if you're lucky enough, as I was, to get this team, you'll will be happy.

I have nothing but praise for this company. I had called and researched several companies in the area and decided to go with Culligan and glad I did. A wonderful woman by the name Linda came by the house and explained what the Culligan name stands for and how she could help. She truly is a class act, explained everything in detail and did the company proud. I will definitely be telling everyone I know to go with CULLIGAN.

I had a maintenance contract with them. They come out and repair things that aren't working properly. They do alright. Sometimes, if they are out in your neighborhood and they don't exactly want to come on a different day, so sometimes they are not that willing to work with you and sometimes you have to pay a little extra for them to come on a different day, like to deliver salt something. They do alright. They send somebody out when you need them.

We stand by them 100%. We have been using them for around 30 years. They are always on time and clean up. We are very happy with them.

Everything turned out great. They did a great job. We have been using them for 10 years.

Whenever we have a problem, they come out right away and are very responsive, even on weekends. The system works very well.

Everything has turned out fine. They had to come back once to fix some minor issues involving the salt levels, but they showed up promptly and were responsive.

About 1 week before installation of the water softener, a representative came to our house to test the water and look at the space where the water heater would be. This representative was polite and professional and arrived on time. Our representative that actually installed the water softener was amazing. He really cared about proper installation and took his time to make sure the install was done properly. He was very polite and explained all the questions my husband and I asked. When the first representative visited the house, he took measurements and guessed which size water softener was needed. When the rep who installed it put in the water softener, the size was a little too big. He was worried we would be unable to change out the salt easily. This impressed me because he cared about our convienence and how easy it would be to fill. He could easily have left the bigger softener in and let us figure out how to do it after he left. He called his store and a smaller size water softener was delivered within 30 minutes. After the install, he explained how to use it and how to check for the softness of the water. He also made recommendations on when to turn off the water softener and when to have it auto cleaned. At the end of the appointment, he gave us both a goody bag full of things we would actually use. Overall we had a very positive Culligan experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

Overall things went well. Service vist was $85.00 (seemed hight to me) and the plug was $59.00. However, Hector, service tech, was very professional and explained this older system in detail and told me what to expect as I'm new to the area and inherited the existing system. Kudos to Hector!!!

Pretty terrible experience with Culligan. Asked to have sales rep come out to house to give quote. All he did was verify that we had pre plumbing, as if I would make this up over the phone. He came inside the house and gave me 3 different prices and talked about why Culligan was better then anyone else. The price of the basic water softener was almost 1.5 times that of any other company that gave me an estimate. Very pushy with wanting to set up an install date and gave me his own two cents on what the builder should include in the price of the home. Not a pleasant experience to say the least. Made my choice VERY easy.

While the price may seem like a shock, my house was not plumbed for a water softener, and the plumbing went into the house on the opposite side of the garage, meaning they had to tap into the water supply, run it all the way to the garage, then run it all the way back out to the original. Quite the feat. They had to trench the yard to run the pipe, and I will say I'm impressed with how well they put it all back together. The yard wasn't great to begin with (landscaping is next on the list...) but they put it back to its original state. I have no idea how. The install was QUICK! They were professional, clean, and amazingly efficient. Afterwards they demonstrated how the whole system worked, and what to do if I had any problems. The sales experience was pretty good too. Very responsive (if not a little on the chatty side) and quick replies. The price, to be honest, was great. I got another quote for the same price, that would have used a much less efficient machine, and would have ripped my lawn up diagnolly instead of the clean and minimal way Culligan did it. Also, he would have only installed one hose bib, Culligan installed two, and changed out the Pressure Regulator Valve which was shot. For the same price the other guys wanted for much much less.

First experience with the company and it was great!

They are great. They are very reliable.

My overall experience with Culligan of SA was a very good one. I spoke with Ted first and he told me what was going on. Ellie in the office and I had several good phone calls. Drake get me informed of what was going on. They had the system installed in a day. We had to wait for the City of Converse to ok the job and this is were it got bogged down. The system was in and running, so I didn't really much care about anything else. They had to approve the job (City of Converse) and that is why the hole wasn't covered up for about two weeks. Other than that everything went well and my wife and I are happy. All is good with the world.

Culligan of San Antonio has done a very good job for us for a long time. Our house is an older house and the softener system they installed many years ago is working great.

the sales lady was very nice an courteous. She explained all of the systems that Culligan offers and didnt try to sell us what we didnt need. We were offered a great payment plan with no interest or payments for a year. This was a great plan for us since we had just purchased the home and needed other appliances. The installers were on time and seemed to do a good job. We havent had any problems.

Very punctual. Culligan's monthly prices are exceptional and their service is even better. I also like that they gave me one free month as an Angie's list member and 6% off by paying one year in advance.

They contacted me by phone before we even moved in to confirm that we wanted to continue with a service contract. They came out to take care of that. She also tested our water and adjusted the equipment. A couple weeks later they contacted me again to set up a time to do a service call and go over the functions with us. Again always very courteous and professional.

They are a good, honest company. They seemed to know what they were doing.

I had a Culligan water softener system (owned, not leased) that was about 9 years old when the water pressure became non-existent. I called a plumber who advised me that I needed to have the water softener system serviced but when I mentioned that it was a Culligan system, he advised me to be careful because Culligan would come out and try to sell me a new system instead of fixing or servicing the old system. Culligan charges $85 for the first 30 minutes to come out and "service" their equipment. Sure enough, the Culligan repairman walked into my garage, didn't even touch the softener and told me I needed to purchase a new system and they would be happy to replace it for $1,960!!!! He then proceeded to charge me $85 for trying to sell me a new system. Needless to say, I didn't buy their system. Instead, I went to Lowe's and paid a fraction of the price for a new water softener that works way better than the Culligan system ever did.

From the call to request service up to and including the home visit, they were consummate professionals.

They were fine and they were good. We didn't compare their price.

Shortly after our contract was signed, they changed our salt delivery date and dropped their policy of "customer service." Instead of sending a representative, by appointment, to service our unit and install salt on a day that we were available, we began to get voice mails left on our answering machine at 9:00 pm, telling us that they would be by the very next morning, at a time that we would not be home. By the time we got the short-notice voice message, their office was closed - too late to notify them that they would be wasting a trip, as nobody would be home. When we called and requested an appointment at a time that we were available, we were told that our "route" was scheduled at a time/day that was convenient to Culligan, and it could not be changed. (Contrary to what we were told by the friendly salesman, who told us that all we had to do to re-schedule an appointment was call and tell the manager that we were not available on our "route day," and they would send someone out when we were available. Turned out to be a very false statement - the manager has never returned our call, despite repeated promises from Culligan representatives that he would be calling us, regarding the scheduling problems. We are still waiting for his call.) Culligan's solution to the scheduling problem is for us to take off half a day of work and wait for them to show up. Our company does not allow time off work for this type of situation; although, my husband did manage to pre-schedule a day off, when Culligan agreed to send someone out, but nobody from Culligan ever showed up, and nobody ever called to cancel our "appointment." The only solution Culligan gives us at this point is to leave our home accessible to unknown visitors all day long, or compromise our security system by giving them our codes to by-pass our security system. I've tried to explain to them that either of their "options" defeat the purpose of a paid, monitored security system. I am available 2 1/2 days every week, on a consistent basis for Culligan to uphold their end of the signed contract, yet they still refuse to accommodate us, as their "service" schedule has changed. We have had to pay a plumber TWICE to come out and repair a toilet that failed, due to hard water deposits, and last week paid a different plumber to repair a broken dishwasher, which he said failed, due to hard water deposits. The rented Culligan water softener sits in my garage, out of salt, not operating properly, no Culligan representative has been out in months, and we are still waiting for the manager to call us. I'm left to wonder why we've continued to faithfully make our monthly payments to them, and I feel that they should be responsible for our failed appliances. I supposed their empty water-softener will be easier for them to move out than one with the proper salt levels. We will not ever use this company again, and we would never wish their poor service on anyone!
