Chambliss Plumbing is a family owned local plumbing business, founded in 1990 by Kevin Chambliss, MPL 14952. Mr. Chambliss has been serving San Antonio in the plumbing trade since 1979 and has been a Master Plumber since 1985. Kathy Chambliss is the vice-president and office manager. Kevin & Kathy have been life & business partners since 1979. There is a 5% discount for all Angie's List Members.

I wanted to fix a leaky kitchen faucet, but found that the shut off valves were frozen and corroded. While this wasn't an emergency I wanted it fixed before it became one.  I called Chambliss, who I've used before, and they scheduled an appointment within 2 days.  Skylar and Martin called before their arrival and were right on time.  They went about assessing the problem and quickly installed 3 new quarter-turn shut off valves. They were finished in about 30 mins.They even installed the faucet part I was originally trying to replace.  Both plumbers were friendly and professional, and I believe the cost was reasonable. Chambliss also offers a military discount, which is appreciated.

We used the Angie's list "Schedule Now" button and were communicated with quickly.  They scheduled the service and arrived on-time.  They installed a ice maker line to our secondary fridge and a new value and in-line flex pipe to a toilet.  All work was completed quickly and without errors.  We were impressed and will use them again.

I had a leaky faucet on the outside and I thought they were going to have to knock down some walls in order to fix the pipe. They told me it wasn't as major as I thought and they didn't charge me for it. They are trustworthy and dependable. They are accountable for what they do. They do top quality work and are very personable.

It was possible fixing the problem would require removing the toilet itself and fishing the glasses out of the pipes.  However, the technician first tried what looked like a vacuum--a hose was inserted down the toilet--it actually sucked the glasses out.  Believe it or not, they were not even damaged!  A little disinfection and they were just fine.  He also helped get some staining out that regular cleansers had been unable to touch. 
He did the work very quickly, efficiently, and professionally.  He kept the area clean.  I was pleased with every aspect of their work.

Joaquin c. From chambliss did a great job. He gave me his cell phone number for any questions. He helped me get my warranty honored by whirlpool so my replacement heater was free... He worked around my schedule and Thanksgiving holiday to ensure that my house full of guests would be able to shower over the holiday weekend! Because of the whirlpool warranty police, I did have to call Joaquin and the chambliss office several times. Every phone call was answered or returned in a few minutes. Every one was professional and courteous. The price seemed high, buts that is probably because I am an old cheap guy who remembers prices from the 80's! I will continue to use chambliss plumbing and highly recommend them.

I had to wait a few days for service, but this company is very busy (a good sign) and had great ratings so I opted to wait.  My leak was not an emergency either, so I am sure they would have responded more promptly in that case.  On the day of service, two guys showed up, very professional and quick to get to work.  They immediately jumped out of the truck and started pumping water out of the meter area.  I was very impressed as I'd taken a few bids on the job from other companies and they had just stood around for 10 minutes looking at the pool of water, trying to figure out how much they were going to charge me.  In about an hour Chambliss had located the leak (a cracked PVC pipe), fixed it and cleaned everything up.  I was so happy to have the situation resolved and under control in a fast and efficient manner!  This company is nothing but professional and their price was over the top amazing.  In a business that has a bad rap for price gouging and taking advantage of customers, I feel that I can trust this company to provide a fair, honest price along with reliable work.  After 6 years owning my home and dealing with many plumbing companies (never really being satisfied), I have FINALLY found my go-to company!  I would recommend them to anyone. We got them from Angie's List, and they were excellent. We had a problem that occurred in our other bathroom, and they will be coming out tomorrow morning. We thought that the job was going to take a long time, and the guy came out, and he was professional in his appearance, and he knew his job. He did it in 20 minutes, and the job was excellent.  The charge was less than another company, and they were excellent.

I  was extremely pleased that Richard and Cody found the leak to my house.  With how much had to be dug  from start to finish to repair leak  was above and beyond  what I expected.    They were both proffesional ,friendly and on time .  I would definatley recommend them.  I will use them again.  New faucets for the bathrooms next..
