Worse staging company in SA. Be aware they charge you through the roof and claim you damaged their cheap furniture and charge you steep prices for it. When you try to ask for proof they don’t respond but reply back thank you for the past business !!

I think my expectations may have been too high reading the reviews. I thought I would end up with a grand plan for finishes and furniture placement like when staging a house. However, she did help me select the right paint color, and gave me recommendations on people to contact for the painting and for the granite, but she didn't have any samples or ideas on the granite. I thought she would be bringing all kinds of samples. She talked to me about adding a header to the curtains and the furniture placement. And we talked about my idea for adding in stonework. She also confirmed that the existing colors were a mix of warm and cool which is why they weren't working. So I came away with a paint color, some names of vendors, and some ideas which is more than I started with.

Could not have gone better. Bruce is a true interior designer. We implemented most of his ideas and suggestions and I feel that his contributions played a large part in our home selling in two days for more than list price. Anyone who is truly serious about selling their home, or just making it look great should call By Design and ask for Bruce. I can't think of anything in the selling process that gave us as much ROI. Liza, the Stager, arrived on time. She was very personable and professional. Liza did a "design on a dime" type decorating. My husband and I are very pleased with the way she decorated/staged our home. She made it more inviting and friendly. I would definitely use Liza again as well as recommend By Design Home Staging and Decorating to anyone who will listen. The $250.00 included a $50.00 trip charge based on our location.

She did an excellent job. We had already done a lot, but she validated most of what we had done and also gave us a number of tips that enhanced the overall presentation.

The provider (Penelope) arrived promptly, and we spent the two full hours discussing color choices for the interior of my house, as I plan to repaint in the coming year. We also discussed my furniture placement in the living room. She was very helpful with color choices, and as it turns out, the palette we discussed uses colors that I already have in use in some areas of my house. She made some very helpful suggestions with regard to my kitchen and a choice of color there, as it is currently a deep red, which I want to change. I was very happy with the service she provided, and would certainly use Design Home Staging and Decorating again in the future.

Horrible. Run!!! Too pricey. I'd suggest you go shopping with them so you can manage their time spent in stores. Who spends hours in Lowes and Marshalls when you know what you are shopping for.

She likes to look at everything first, starting with the curb appeal in the front . Once in the house, she viewed each room & then wrote down her notes. She gave me her notes. She made the suggestion for each room what do have out/what to not have out.She would keep reminding me what a potential buyer is looking for....square footage! Liva was warm, professional & knew her field. I have followed most of her suggestions & I'm sure they will pay off.

Designer arrived on time, she spent 2 hours with us going through multiple rooms of the house. She gave us recommendations regarding the window treatments to buy, furniture styles and measurements to look for, colors of curtains and roman shades, size recommendation for furniture. We went ahead and bought items per her advise and so far house has turned spectacular. Very happy with the service.

, It went super. Penelope worked with us on our schedule. We sent her pictures and dimensions of our furniture and the space she had to work with. Two days before our move in day, we took her to the house where she physically laid out where the furniture should go and put down blue painters tape so the movers could position the furniture. This was a tremendous help on moving day! Everything fit as planned so our time and money were well spent. Penelope was a delight to work with and we will probably use her in the future.

Michele arrived on time and spent the next several hours giving me ideas on what I could do to bring my house up to date.

Bought a Big Deal Coupon for 2 hours of interior design. I received a confirmation call within a few days and was not near my calendar so was unable to schedule right then. Big mistake. It took weeks to get them to call or email me back to schedule after that. When the day finally arrived, the young lady arrived on time. She was very courteous and friendly. The company had resecently hired her to assist them. Personally, I think she was as indecisive around what I should do with that room as I was. We talked about ideas... but because of where the TV wall, fireplace and windows were, most ideas really wouldn't help the flow. I told her I was really just looking for options (plural) and that I was willing to buy all new furniture when I found the right option. We also talked about the flow of the adjacent eat-in part of the kitchen. She made a call to someone to discuss the room she was seeing.... not sure what good that time spent was. She started drawing, but then we talked about the fact I really wanted to see several ideas... we had an hour left so she agreed to go back to her office to draw things up and she'd send them to me by the following Monday. Her email did not arrive the following Monday, or may have reached my spam folder and been deleted... and long story short, it was about 2 weeks before I got both a single drawing of the living room area arrangement and one of an eat-in kitchen arrangement. Neither of the drawings were particularly earth-shattering or innovative in concept. I'm pretty disappointed in the result of what I got for the Big Deal Coupon.... but the really good news is that the Big Deal coupon was only half the price of what they normally would have charged me for this service!

Michele was on time and we asked through my house and she noted what updates were needed she followed up with an email the next day.

She stayed the full two hours and was very pleasant. I showed her room by room and she was very patient.

Liza Lanzetta was punctual and professional. During the visit she put my interests first and worked with the furniture and decorations of the house. She suggested chaging wall colors, flooring and light fixtures to update the house. I appreciated that she did not try to make big changes and did not recommend bold colors.

Our appointment was very prompt and professional. Michele was knowledgeable and creative.

Excellent. However, were hoping to get some sort of drawing or lay out of our current furnishing and what other furnishing and accessories can enhance the room.

The designer exceeded my expectations and I am excited to continue working with her. I expected a two hour marketing campaign to spend more money, but instead I received several executable ideas and my questions were answered very directly.
