Mrs. Cummins prepared my tax return for the third year now. Although I PCS'd away from San Antonio recently and now live in another state, Mrs. Cummins took care of my taxes long distance. We had discussed this last year when she prepared my taxes and I knew I would be relocating later in 2013. She stated she would still do my taxes even if I relocated and she kept her word. Her experience and expertise in her field won over my trust from the first year she prepared my return. I wouldn't want anyone else to assist me but her! She takes care of her clients no matter where we are!

I used services of my accountant from Betty Cummins Financial and Tax Services last February. I have an appointment to see her this Saturday because I had such a great experience last year. What I appreciate is her knowledge and that she is willing to take time to explain everything because sometimes filing taxes can be complicated and confusing. (inaudible at 00:09:36) has many years of experience. That really impressed me and that is why I decided to use her services again this year. The most positive aspect I think is her being very patient to explain the process.

Be somewhat organized when going to her. Don't bring a box full of receipts at the very least ensure that you have those receipts organized by month. She'll take it from there. She's a professional and straightforward. She has no problems expressing what you need to accomplish when and where. Again she's awesome to work with.

My wife and I searched long and hard for an accountant to help us with our taxes (we recently moved to Texas from out of state, husband works for the military, have our first home and other complex investments). Betty was quick to return our email and stated that she had room for one more client. She state she had experience working with all of our situations listed above and would be able to help us with our taxes. She met with us and we provided all documents requested. In a short time, she prepared our federal taxes with an estimate of our expected return and what we could do to limit taxes for the next year. She was a pleasure to work with and gave an excellent price. We will certainly be using Betty again this year.

Mrs. Cummins prepared and filed my federal tax return for me. We set up an appt. several days prior to my visit. I accidently forgot paperwork she asked me to bring to the appt.She allowed me to use a computer in her office to access the paperwork I forgot so I could print it. She was extremely professional and patient in answering my questions and ensuring I understood. Although a new customer, I felt like a valued customer and will continue to use her services and expertise in the future. Her fee was also very reasonable.

She didn't charge us for the consultation and was very helpful.

I contacted the company via email and explained my needs. The reply was quick and there was an offer to help. I decided not to use the services, not because of anything relating to the company, but more due to my personal timeline and an ability to do it myself. Next year I will approach this company much earlier and use their services. Though not a customer at this time, I plan to be a customer in the future.

We contacted Betty in late January and left her a voicemail asking her to call back regarding tax preparation. Within the hour, she called right back, let us know what documents we would need, and made herself available to us anytime we were ready to come in for an appointment. Once we had all our forms together in February, I called Betty to make the appointment and she was able to see us that week, on a Saturday! Betty was extremely helpful and her tax expertise was very reassuring. It only took her a week to finish our taxes and she communicated with us throughout the entire process. After an initial challenge getting in touch with Ms. Cummins (very understandable), she quickly met with us, assessed our tax situation, and prepared our taxes. She went out of her way to accommodate our schedules and needs.
