"Customer - I'm sorry that we had mechanical problems and it delayed the start of your project. We inspect each vehicle, on a daily basis, and do not let them leave if we find any safety issues with the vehicle. We don't ever want to put our workers, or other commuters in harm's way. "Customer - I apologize for the delay in responding, but I have been out ill most of November. As regards your comments, we apologize for the timeliness; however, we had unexpected showers in September and October. This created a backlog and despite working 6 days per week, we couldn't meet everyone's specific schedules. Furthermore, you had indicated to us that your son wanted to wait until the neighbor had performed some repairs on their property, prior to you completing the work. We even provided the name of a subcontractor to assist with those repairs. Lastly, when Brian met with you, you had provided him with a perfect score of “10” on the form, with a scale of 1-10, on how likely you are to refer us to a friend or colleague. Furthermore, I provided my contact information, as well, should you have any questions. This is the first I have heard of any problems. With that being said, we are not sure, why you would provide us with F’s when you gave us the highest rating possible on our forms. Beldon as come through with the estimates as promised. We had a long discussion as to roof types, the positive and negative aspects of all types and we have finally settled on a metal roof (yipee!). They will get us the paperwork tomorrow. I am really impressed with Mr. Beldon and his work ethic and attention to customer service. I'm still slightly speechless. All I can say is thanks.
For what it is worth, it is wonderful that you understand the military lifestyle. I have a soft spot for our military, since my husband served 37 years in the army. I wish you could tell your grandfather thanks for his service. General Patton...I'm impressed.
Scheduling the roof was an issue because of us. We built a front porch on before scheduling the roof, which delayed the project. My choice. Then we had rain (happy thing).
The crew arrived on time, and went right to work. They worked tirelessy on removing the old roof and getting the decking fixed. The second day, we were expecting rain, so the guys worked until 10:30PM to make sure we would not have any leaks. It did rain and so the roof was put off for 4 days or so, until the decking dried after the rain went away. The guys put the metal roof on in about 6 days or so (I don't honestly remember). They knew I was worried about oilcanning and the wavy roof but said they could pretty much fix that. They did. Our house looks amazing now. The roof is beautiful and well done.
I did notice one leak the other day when it rained, but they are coming out to inspect it. The schedule was done for my convenience.

On behalf of our TEAM, I apologize that we have fallen short of your expectations and, quite frankly, we are disappointed that we failed to live up to our own goals of exceeding our customer’s expectations. However, with that being said, we’d sure like to visit with you to understand your concerns. At this time, we currently have a 10AM appointment with you and your husband for Monday to deliver reroofing options. At such time, we would be more than willing to discuss any concerns which you have. I’m also a USAA member (3rd generation) and our TEAM follows the same beliefs of serving the customer. My grandparents, of blessed memory, came to San Antonio at the end of World War II when my grandfather was stationed at Ft. Sam, after serving on the Staff of General George S. Patton. I have many memories of his stories from serving on General Patton’s staff. Further, I’m confident that my grandfather’s leadership skills were sharpened by the lessons he learned from General Patton. Fortunately, they decided to make San Antonio their home and started our family business over 66 years ago. Today, our family business employs over 600 individuals nationwide. That’s quite a legacy for me to uphold and I welcome it daily. My father joined them in 1960, and I came aboard after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin. For years, our family has been actively involved with the San Antonio Greater Chamber of Commerce, the National Roofing Contractors Association, YPO (Young Presidents Organization), numerous military affairs committees, many other civic organizations, & various charities and their many fundraising efforts. We are deeply rooted within the community and our entire team gives back daily. Certainly, we aren’t perfect but we have procedures and policies in place to ensure the quality of our product is second to none. I hope that after you meet with Chuck on Monday that you will feel confident in partnering with BELDON for your reroofing project.
