We had been having water pressure problems for some time and it only seemed to be getting worse. A few years ago we were advised to have a pressure regulator installed and had one put in by Aramendia Plumbing. We called and explained the problem. They were able to come that day. Two men arrived and were polite and checked the pressure which was where it should be. but never addressed the problem of flow rate. Instead they cleaned out the shower head and sink strainer, making me feel like a blond at a car dealership. Then they insisted that the water softener was to blame because when it was on, the flow decreased dramatically. It was recommended that we buy a new water softener and they left me with literature about different systems that they could install. At least they did not charge me a service call. We put in a new softener that we bought at Lowes. Ours was a Kenmore which was several years old and that was about their life expectancy. The problem continued to get worse as the flow rate kept decreasing dramatically if more than one thing was using water. At the suggestion of a neighbor we called the neighborhood plumber. Hearing the history of the problem, he checked the pressure regulator, adjusted it and everything has been working wonderfully ever since.

It was too easy.  We called at the end of the day and the next day they came.

We could not be there, so we arranged for them to gain access, they telephoned when they identified the problem and advised the charge to fix it. 

After some credit card details provided, they fixed the problem and left a nice clean bath room!

David and Brandon showed up, assessed the situation, listened to my concerns and immediately developed a plan to address leaks under the kitchen sink.  They provided sufficient information to me and explained everything they were doing so I could understand it.  The price was fair and the company was responsive.  I appreciated the completion of my job and the explanations along the way as to what they were going to do.  The pitch for a service contract was not a high pressure sale, so I was not put off by that at all.

Arrived on time.  Very professional in their attitudes and work performed.  Even made a point to introduce his partner for the day that was shadowing him.

As you can see by my previous paragraph, my house was in a mess from a leaking water heater that had been identified but left leaking by another plumbing group.  I called Armendia because they had installed some copper lines from the main to the house a few years ago.  My service technicians showed up after two hours which was entirely reasonable on a call that was made on a busy Tuesday morning.  Over the next six hours, these two young men worked on replacing my water heater and bringing it up to code (it had been installed improperly by another group).  My water softener had the possibility of leaking too, and i could not be sure that it was not part of the original  problem.  I requested an estimate for a new softener to be installed.  David, the lead plumber, was very courteous and answered my questions about what this would entail.  Since the combination price of a water heater and softener was expensive, I asked about financing.  He gave me the paperwork and facilitated this process.  After all of the work was done, these men cleaned up a very messy (due to drywall being cut and water) area to our relief and satisfaction.  I have read the reviews about pricing.  I have done some research and I feel that I got value for what I am paying. I have a warranty on the new items and a promise to service my items quickly, as needed.  David also gave me estimates on other plumbing issues but did not seem offended when I told him I would wait.  I think my experience was a good one and I will use this company again.  I do feel that "you get what you pay for" and I want quality of service as well as a decent price.  I feel I received that during this effort. One other item of note---the plumbers showed up in a truck with parts and they have a "runner" for more parts as needed.  The last plumbing group showed up in a PT cruiser and talked but no action.  Which group would you want?

I was initially impressed that they would come out that afternoon and install it for me.  They arrived within a couple of hours.  Both individuals identified themselves and had put on their company shirts.  I showed them the shower unit [it had a rain shower head, hand held and three pulse units all in one device].They spent almost 40 minutes reading the written instructions, looking at the box, and scratching their heads.  I pointed out that the manufacturer indicated that any homeowner could install this in less than an hour, with only a wrench.  [I have been ill and physically limited; thus, did not think I could install by myself]. There was only one fitting to remove and install.  They called their supervisor twice for instructions.  Finally, they told me that they did not think it would work in the master shower bath.  So, to save them a service call, I asked them to see if it would work in our guest bath.  Again, checking with their supervisor, they told me it could take 2 to 3 hours of labor at a cost of a "minimum" of $585.00.  I thanked them and sent them on their way.  They did not charge me for the service call.  The next day, I re-read the instructions, and was able to install this "all-in-one" shower replacement in our guest bath in about one hour.  All I needed was Teflon tape and one pair of pliers.  No leaks, works perfectly, just as the manufacturer stated on the box.  These individuals did not seem to be "real" plumbers, were not knowledgeable, and did not have a clue as to how to trouble shoot.  Their cost estimate was ridiculous!  They were courteous, but...  I also asked them about their Angie's List discount coupon and their military discount as advertised for future reference..  They knew nothing about this information and told me to check with their office.

They were very prompt in responding to my online questions. A service person was out within a couple hours and my water heater was installed. All on a Saturday. All the staff was courteous and were at my home when the said they would be. I did have some difficulties the first week or two, but they came out every time I called them.

They also called and nagged years later saying I had not paid a bill when I had the credit card receipt in my hand.  Poor management, unprofessional and poorly trained workman.  Never again.
