"We appreciated the opportunity to furnish and install windows for the Jiminezes and are glad they are happy with the quality of the windows, the crew, and the installation. In business everything does not always go as planned but we do our best to solve problems as soon as they arise. Our front desk made contact with Mr. Jiminez on July 2nd and he confirmed that July 8th would work with his schedule for installation. However, there was not in direct contact with our Production Manager, so it did not get on the schedule officially. Once the mistake was realized, on the 8th, we made sure to get a crew out to their job the next day. We learned that one window was lost in transit and did not arrive with the others. That same day we called the manufacturers to have them rectify their mistake. They had to verify where the window was lost and why before getting us a new unit and this process took them three days. As soon as we had any updated information about the status of the new unit, we called the customers to inform them. The new window was made and shipped in one week. We offered to let the customer hold back 10% of the total balance, which they did. The phone conversation with Mrs. Jiminez was held in front of office staff who can confirm that she was never yelled at but that she was demanding a discount. When we received the final window, we called the customers and set up the installation on a Saturday, as to not inconvenience them any more during the week. The installer preferred to start work at 8am to finish earlier, being his weekend, but we further accommodated the customer and pushed the installation to 10am. Finally, for their inconvenience we reduced their balance from $2,154.50 to an even $2,000. This is an accurate account of the details. We do appreciate our customers and feel we took appropriate steps to rectify any mistakes. An ‘F’ is certainly not deserved, and likewise, an “A” was not earned. We were not perfect, but we do care for our customers the quality of our installations."
