Charlie came out to a**** my systems and make a recommendation for upgrade. He reviewed all the current available options and thoroughly explained all the different systems and their benefits. He found me a great deal on better units than I had originally hoped to install and took care of everything to get the old units replaced.

Charlie then made sure that I had all the information I needed to get the rebate that my power company was offering, which I did.

He came out again when I experienced an issue and got it taken care of immediately. I would recommend Kewl Aire to anyone who needs A/C help.

Kewl Air representative was right on time, professional and friendly, and performed a multiple point check-up on the A/C system. He also discussed with me potential issues with our old system and potential alternatively for upgrading it in the future. The service was excellent and we would use this company again for our needs in the future.

Charlie was great.  Provide a true appointment time- not a "window" that allowed ne the opportunity to make arrangements with work. He replaced the electric circuit breaker that went out and filled my unit with Freon that was low for a great price.  He explained all the details of his diagnostic testing on the unit as he worked.  Which was great!   He was completely honest with me about the unit and the problem.  I would definitely call Kewl Air again and I am telling my friends about the great service.

Charlie was very quick to respond to the voice mail I left him requesting a quote.  During the call I told him all of the diagnostics I had done on the system, what the system was doing and how it was behaving.  He quoted me a price over the phone and actually came in $6 under the quoted price.  He arrived perfectly on time, was extremely pleasant and professional.  He quickly went to work and verified the problem with the system.  He had the part on his truck and quickly replaced it and got everything up and working.  I was so happy to have the A/C back in working condition and it even works better than before.  Apparently the capacitor had been having problems.  I will keep an eye on my electric bill, but I am expecting it to go down now.  The house is not only cool, but almost freezing.  I highly recommend Charlie to anyone needing A/C repair or a new system.  He's not one of those big companies that like to rip you off.  He is fair and professional and does high quality work.

We were in the process of getting numerous bids to replace our air conditioner when it finally gave out on us and we were in a bit of a bind.  I called Kewl Aire who had done an estimate and asked if they could potentially install the system the next day and they did.

After getting an estimate of $7900 from Airtron to replace my unit as well as an exhorbitant interest rate to finance, I called Charlie Baker noting generally excellent reviews on Angie's List.  He arrived at my house within a couple of hours of my initial call, verified that the unit needed to be replaced and offered to do it $1500 cheaper and finance through my credit union.  After I secured financing late on a Friday, he came that Saturday morning and had the entire unit replaced in about 3-4 hours.  Charlie is an outstanding guy and I won't hesitate to contact him in the future for all my A/C needs.

Charlie was thorough and provided details on options regarding our central heating unit.  We were reluctant to replace the entire unit and he provided options that would be less expensive and yet maintain the unit for a prolonged period.  He offered a no interest financing through a local financial institution allowing us to pay for the repairs within a year with no additional charge.  
There was mold in our unit and I mentioned to Charlie that my wife and I suffer from allergies.  He suggested adding a UV light to help rid the mold that was circulating in the air.  Although somewhat skeptical, I believe it has helped the quality of air.  I appreciated Charlie's personality as he never pressured or pushed, but gave suggestions he believed would meet our needs.
Charlie has a friendly manner and was professional in everything he did.  I can highly recommend him.

Very prompt and professional.  Came out next day, discovered problem quickly and was very knowledgeable and explained things well.  Came back the next day and was able to complete fix the issues plus an additional problem (free of charge) and finished in less than 2 hours!  Will definitely recommend and use in the future!

The technician was professional and did his job.  However, the unit he installed does not kill the bacteria or enhance the smell in the house; it only kills the germs inside the air conditioning unit.  I would have preferred the light that kills the bacteria in the house.  Perhaps, Kewl could state that in their advertising?  This could avoid misunderstandings between the business company and its customers.  Thanks.

When I called on a Saturday morning, Charlie said he had a few appointments ahead of me and that maybe he'd be able to get to me about 1PM.  He called back a little bit later to let me know he was on his way and he showed up before noon, if I recall correctly.  
The service call was made because our upstairs A/C was blowing but not cold, so it was getting very warm upstairs.  Charlie seemed to know the solution right away and after diagnosing a bad capacitor he got it running in no time.  He told me up front that the part would be $144 and the service call would be $29 (Angie's List coupon).  I asked if he would also do the routine inspection for both A/C units and he did-- $69 for the first and $49 for the second. We chatted while he made the repair and inspection; he's a really nice guy. 
I was very happy when he left and thought I'd found my go-to A/C guy... Then I looked up the cost of the capacitor on Amazon and I could have had one for about $30.  Maybe it's industry-standard to mark these up by 400% but I was really disappointed that that's how it turned out.  I can understand a 20% markup maybe but 400% just seems absurd.

I scheduled an appointment for after 4:00 and I got there 4:10.  I saw their truck going the opposite direction.  I called them and they said they had been at my house since 3:45 and they went on to another customer.  They said they didn't have my number to call me.  I ended up getting a refund.

Originally I had scheduled your call with a three hour window, but your wife called and mentioned she could not make the time scheduled. So we set a time of 4pm. I showed up 15 min early and waited 30 mins.You are correct in saying that I did not have your number with me , mistake on my part. But I did not receive a call mentioning you'd be late as well. I have always worked hard to be early to my appts. I hope all worked out."

They were supposed to clean out the intakes and they did not do so, I really wanted him to clean out the intakes. He then wanted to sell me new units for our A/C without really doing much of anything. disappointed with the service.
