I was very impressed that Air Care was out to assess my problem with the failed air handler unit on a Friday and available to install the new unit the following Saturday morning. They came out promptly as scheduled at 0800 on Saturday morning right and installed the new unit. The installers were professional, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves and even hauled away my new unit for me. I was also impressed by the Air Care’s honesty, because they didn’t try to sell me a complete system. They told me up front that I could use my old Carrier compressor with my new Trane air handler unit and that both units would be compatible (this saved me a considerable sum of money). I did take their advice and go with a variable speed air handler motor in the unit for reduction of operating noise, energy efficiency, and regulating humidity better in the house. I paid a little more for this unit , but feel in the long run I will have a better system. Air Care really exceeded my expectations and I intend to use them in the future for my regular maintenance of the units. I like their honesty, responsivness, follow-up, and overall attention to customer service. I will definetly reccomend them to my friends and neighbors.

Air Care was highly recommended by a friend. I had looked at positive reviews on Angie's List and also checked with BBB.Technician was about 30 minutes late but went right to work checking first the attic and then outside. The capacitor was blown and this was evident by it's shape. Once that was replaced, the unit was turned on but the fan did not start. RJ thought it might be due to capacitor issue causing the motor to overheat and we waited several minutes for the motor to cool. It still did not turn on. Rather than off to replace the $500 motor, RJ ran the garden hose over it to further cool it and the motor then started up.

I have used them exclusively for more than 13 yrs. They are 100% always on time, professional, nice, and most importantly HONEST. They have NEVER told me I needed something that I didn't. If they say I need something, I know I do. I never bother to get a second opinion. If more companies ran this way, we wouldn't need BBB, government reporting agencies or Angie's list. The owner, Max, is an honest stand up guy.

They were prompt with the installation and were very friendly. I have been using their services for the last 3 years, even for my annual service. They did a good job and I will continue to use them in future.

This company was recommended by a friend. Previous to using this company, we had used four different companies, none of which was capable of getting my systems in working order. The installers came when scheduled, finished in the time allotted, and cleaned up after finishing. The systems have worked for two years with no problems.

They are very personable and take care of my units well. They are familiar with my systems. I feel comfortable because it is usually the same people that I have known for years that come each time. They take care of the spring and fall check-ups and address any issues that I may have. They are very thorough and they are very good. They are very cost conscious and present you with options and recommend things for you to make decisions on. When we replaced the outside units, they presented us 3-4 options on what would be the best thing for our situation.

There was a bad install downstairs that damaged our walls, roof leak due to not putting on a storm collar, electrical outlet box unsecured. After many phone calls and persistence on our part, the repairs were made. Upstairs unit, they did not have a part for the furnance and when it was installed, done improperly and caused a gas leak. Again several phone calls to get the problem solved.
Response from Air Care & Canyon Lake Air Conditioning, Inc.

"After install of a new unit the customer noticed dirt on wall from installing thermostat. Air Care hired a paint contractor to paint entire wall at no expense to the customer. The wall was painted to the satisfaction of the customer with in ten days. Customer did not communicate to the office about gas leak. When the customer did call the office about a possible gas leak the problem was corrected the same day as the call to our office. Air Care is not aware of any leak in roof. This was never comunicated to Air Care. We have since provided a annual cleaning and check to the customers units. No communication to company service technician or office about any leaks at time of annual cleaning."

When Air Care was called to replace the part, they did so. However, a couple of months later, we had a huge stain on the roof of our garage. It turned out that the repair person had left a PVC outlet pipe turned the wrong way, and overflow had leaked into our ceiling.
Response from Air Care & Canyon Lake Air Conditioning, Inc.

"Air Care replaced a motor and wheel in May 2005. Customer had a A/C company other than Air Care looked at the unit in fall of 2006. That A/C company told the customer to call Air Care as the motor might be under warranty. Customer called Air Care and service technician diagnosed problem to be with motor again. The one year warranty for this motor had expired from the manufacture. We were under no obligation due to the expired warranty from the manufactureto replace the motor at no charge. Air Care decided to replace the motor at the expense to Air Care. Air Care has never been contacted about leak or damage to roof or ceiling. Air Care learned about this issue by looking on Angie's List. Air Care called the customer and they changed residency."

Have used company several years. They replaced old unit 3 years ago. Friendly, professional and reasonably price service. They don't tie up your whole day waiting for service but are reliably prompt within a 2 hour block scheduled.

Max Gardner and his people are wonderful to work with. They are very responsive, always show up on time and provide quality, professional service every time. They send us reminder postcards for spring and winter servicing of our heating and AC system. The price is very reasonable and we always have them do the work.

Air Care Canyon Lake did a great job. It did take two days to finish the job. It was a big project. We were very satisfied. We have not had any problems with the equipment at all. The workers were clean, nice, and hard at work.

They are great at maintaining our system and they send out cards to remind us when service is needed. It usually takes about one hour to do a service check on the system. The price for the service is less than most.

The work crew of two really seemed to know the technical end of the job. The entire system was installed, tested and running within four hours of their arrival. They were very polite, and took the time to talk with me about the upstairs system, which was different from our old system. They cleaned the rooms where they created a mess, even doing a little extra vacuuming.
